[Forgive me but I just tried and for some reason I can't. Perhaps there's more to your memories being forgotten]
Mo Wang sighed, feeling that today really wasn't going his way. " If you can't help me with that, then what can you help me with?"

[I'm afraid that will be made known to you at a later date, for now I suggest you find a reclusive place to rest before....]
The systems voice trailed off at the end, it wasn't that it actually trailed off but that Mo Wang suddenly began to feel drowsy all of a sudden.
Before he knew it, his body slumped on its back, his perception of his surroundings slowly decreasing but at that moment, he felt as if he could hear someone approaching him.
' is it the demons? Did they not run awa....' Mo Wang couldn't even finish his internal monologue before he was forced into slumber.

A woman with striking white hair and crimson pupils in a red daoist robe, stood over him. Unlike the villagers, there was no fear or abhorrence in her eyes but a look of annoyance. Which might be due to him now bearing the middle-aged woman's appearance.
" To think you actually escaped and came all this way."
" Are you trying to get me killed?" She frowned before grabbing Mo Wang and hoisting him over her shoulder with ease.
" Looks like you've tired yourself out." She muttered, sounding relieved it hadn't been as serious as she expected. " First let's leave here, it's not safe to remain here for long, less they come snooping around." Her figure leaped several meters while carrying Mo Wang, quickly retreating towards the forest.

Mo Wang slowly awakened from his slumber, his eyes opened and glanced around. He saw that his surroundings looked dark but there seemed to be a camp fire not to far from him.
" Where is this place."
" Oh.. you finally woke up. Took you long enough." Mo Wang turned his head to see a woman sitting against a wall not to far from him, the very woman that had kidnapped him when he fell unconscious.
He glanced at her for a moment before sitting up straight, crossing his legs over one another.
" And who are you supposed to be be?" He tilted his head, asking with genuine curiosity.
" ...Who I am is irrelevant, all you need to know is that your nothing more than a weapon of mine, nothing else."
" A weapon?" Mo Wangs eyes blinked before his face turned even more confused.
" But I'm a human... I'm not a weapon." He said. The lady paused before laughing out loud as if she'd heard the most funny joke yet.
Mo Wang frowned, not liking her reaction, his form unconsciously reverting to his original look. " What's so funny..." He asked, not sounding pleased at all.
" It looks like your consciousness didn't have enough time to develop properly." The placed her hand over her lips, holding back yet another laugh. " If not, why would a demon believe that they're human."
' I don't like her...'
' Do you know who she is?' He glanced at the glowing screen on his right.

[While running a health analysis on you prior, I did notice that you're soul seemed bound to another.]
' My soul?' Mo Wang became even more confused. He glanced at the woman, seeking answers.
" If you believe I'm a demon like you claim, then why come looking for me?" He raised a brow. Not understanding what her motives were.
" I only came to get you because you were causing a commotion. If by chance, those martial artists found you first, then the both of us would've been in a lot of trouble." She said, sounding matter of fact.
" You keep using the word us... Why do you keep talking as if I'm important to you, who are my to you?" Mo Wang felt curious again, if this woman was actually someone from his past, then didn't that mean that she could help him regain some of his memories.
" For your sake, I wouldn't go concocting any grand idea. You're nothing but a newly born YaoGuai. The only reason I'm keeping you alive is because we're bound together, which makes you mine."
By YaoGuai, she was referring to Mo Wang as a fellow demon since YaoGuai were one the types of Demon.
Sometimes, most YaoGuai are born from Guai's. Guai's are more like mindless demons who only rely on instinct, only after gaining human level intellect with the ability to take human form, can they be referred to as YaoGuai.
" To think I was almost able to refine the drop of blood, only for it to awaken it's own consciousness when I decided to take a break." She sighed, looking regretful, like one who'd expended so much effort only for it to all end up fruitless.
' Drop of blood?' Mo Wang muttered in confusion. He didn't understand her at all but, he felt like he understood the first part of her sentence.
" You're my wife then?" Mo Wang came to a conclusion, holding his chin in wonder.
" W-What did you say?" The lady stiffened, her neck turning to glance at him, her eyes trembling all of a sudden.
" You said I was yours, you were implying that we were married right? I didn't know I had my wife worrying about me so.. much?" Mo Wangs speech paused when the lady emerged Infront of him in an instant, her finger nails morphed into claws that stopped inches away from his throat. Her eyes looking beastly all of a sudden.
" Who's your wife?!" She yelled at him, looking livid. " Don't you ever call me that again! Unless you want me to end your short life, understand?"
Mo Wang didn't feel threatened or the like, he simply stared at her in silence before nodding his head.
' My wife must still be angry because I forgot her...' Mo Wang thought to himself.
' I need to make it up to her somehow.' He thought to himself.
The lady scoffed seeing that he understood, he slowly distanced herself from him before returning to her original spot.
" You can call me Bai Xue."
" What?"
" My name... It's Bai Xue, you better use it."
" Oh... Alright." Mo Wang nodded. But he noticed that her gaze was still on him.
" Xue'er is there something you need?" He asked.
Bai Xue paused for a moment before an irritated look emerged on her face. " What did you just call me?!" She glared at him, looking as if she was gearing to get up and bear him senseless.
" B-But you said I shouldn't call you wife... And Xue'er is still the same thing as Bai Xue." Mo Wang retorted quickly, afraid he'd be wronged by this wife of his.
Bai Xue gnashed her teeth, not knowing what to say. " Fine then!" She snarled before keeping quiet.
Mo Wang didn't know why but he felt relieved at that point.
' Xue'er sure is a temperamental person.'
" Since I'm going to be calling you Xue'er, you should call me Senior brother."
" W-What!" This time, she literally sprang up on her feet, glaring at Mo Wang with trembling eyes, she never expected a newly born YaoGuai to be this insufferable.
" I'm not calling you that!"
" W-Why not..." Mo Wang muttered. " You said I shouldn't call you wife so that means you have to listen to one of my own wishes now." He added, trying to sound as if his words held weight.
" T-This..." Bai Xue gnashed her teeth that had long since turned to fangs, the sound nerve-wracking. After a moment of doing nothing, she didn't reply but headed deeper into the cave without a word.
' I wonder if she accepted it or not.' Mo Wang thought to himself.
He paused for a moment before a smile emerged on his mouth, to think he'd actually found his long lost wife. Now all that remained was finding the rest of his past or if that wasn't possible, he was ok with just moving ahead since he now had something to tether him to the past at least.
While thinking about her, he didn't notice when his body morphed into an exact replica of her before shifting back into his original look.
" Come to think of it, how come I'm no longer hunger?" Mo Wang rubbed his abdomen.
[Due to you forcefully entering hibernation, your body was able to meet it's nutritional requirements by absorbing the Qi in the atmosphere instead]
' Qi? What's Qi?'
[Qi is the fundamental energy of life or life energy, though they're are several different variations]
' If I could somehow survive by living off this... Qi, how come I got hungry then?' he questioned, looking puzzled.
[You haven't reached the stage where your body can autonomously absorb the Qi from the atmosphere, so your body was forced to shut down all other unnecessary activities to focus on absorbing the Qi in the atmosphere.]
' I see...' Mo Wang didn't understand much but he decided to believe the system since it seemed to know more than he did.
