Chapter 336 - Chapter 336: March’s New Clothes, Nero’s New Clothes

After leaving the archives room, the three members of the Astral Express stood outside the door.

March shook her head. "Man, Dan Heng really didn't give us any chance to persuade him. But with everything he went through before, I guess he really should get some proper rest now."

After saying that, she looked at the two companions in front of her. "Looks like it'll just be us going to the festival this time. Nero, did you tell your little buddies yet?"

"Of course." Nero nodded.

"And I already planned out a bunch of other stuff too. As long as Boss Qingque gets to have fun, she'll be happy. And the snowy mountains are perfect for helping Yanqing train."

"You can't always fight in the same environment, right? Plus, there's an arena down in the Underworld where he can spar."

"He'll definitely enjoy fighting all kinds of different opponents. Silver Wolf would be a great practice partner too. If he only keeps fighting me, he's gonna end up traumatized."

"Bailu's already super excited about Belobog's specialty foods. Cold-Spiced Fish, mixed vegetable soup, gemstone lizard skewers, fried rock crabs, Belobog red sausage, Jim Roger bread-flavored soda, black bread soda iceberg, stone-grilled cave salamanders!"

"With that many specialties, there's bound to be something she likes. Oh, but we'll have to be careful not to let her see the ingredients or the cooking process."

"And Huohuo too. Even though she looks delicate like Clara, her courage is way too small. I'm taking her around the factories for a bit."

"I think those Fragmentum monsters that disguise themselves as humans will really help toughen her up."

Think about it, if you see monsters that imitate humans to commit crimes, but they're actually miserably working in a factory, suddenly they don't seem that scary anymore."

"Oh right, I feel like Mr. Tail and Svarog would probably have a lot to talk about."

"Even though Mr. Tail always says the opposite of what he means, and Svarog's machine brain is super straightforward, deep down they've actually got a lot in common!"

Nero lowered his head and kept talking nonstop, counting on his fingers while listing all the things he wanted everyone else to experience in Belobog.

"Wow! You really thought through everything already?" March exclaimed in surprise.

"Obviously!"

Nero answered cheerfully, hands on his hips as he lifted his chin high, looking incredibly proud.

"Mhm, Nero's amazing. I'm heading back to my room to pack first. You two should hurry too. Come find me again once you're done."

———

Siberian Duck was following the quest marker.

After March mentioned packing luggage, the scene refreshed, and the quest objective updated to March's room.

She controlled her character all the way there.

The moment the door opened and she stepped inside, Siberian Duck's eyes widened slightly.

The first thing she saw was a pair of sea-blue high heels decorated with ribbon ties, along with feet and calves evenly wrapped in white stockings.

Above that were a sea-blue skirt hem adorned with frostflake decorations and pale thighs exposed above the tops of white over-the-knee socks, with a white garter strap wrapped around the upper part of the right leg.

"Ah?" Siberian Duck let out a startled cry before taking a deep breath.

On the screen, the upper part of March's dress was covered by a white top.

The sleeves puffed out slightly on both sides, and the entire outfit gradually shifted from white to light pink, then from light pink into pale lavender.

Behind her, however, dark blue ribbons drifted downward from an icy-blue snowflake centerpiece, casting a faint bluish glow over the soft pink tones and making the color gradient of the outfit exceptionally gentle.

Above the sleeves, slightly below the shoulders, were frost-like four-pointed ornaments decorating white lace tightened with sea-blue ribbons, making them look as soft and delicate as floating snow mist.

March slowly turned around and revealed a smile.

The dress was slit inward from both sides down toward the waist, exposing the girl's snow-white skin. The outfit fit March's figure perfectly, outlining the graceful curves of her body.

The white-and-sea-blue ribbon around her neck added a sense of elegant restraint and polite refinement to her appearance, while the ice-crown-shaped hair ornament atop her head gave her an extra touch of nobility.

"Waaah!"

Siberian Duck let out a long cry of amazement, her eyes practically glued to the screen.

"Baby! You look like a spirit in the snow, a princess of ice!"

"So? What do you think, Siberian Duck? How's my new dress?", Facing the players, March spoke.

At that moment, the girl had put away her usual playful energy. She smiled softly, and a rare gentleness appeared between her brows, giving her a beauty that was clear and pure without losing charm, charming without becoming seductive.

"There's actually a scene like this?" Siberian Duck sighed in admiration.

[Wind-Boy Solo-Stan: Oh my god, she even got a new outfit!]

[I Use Pantene: In a situation like this, based on what the leaker guy mentioned before, doesn't that mean Nero's getting a new outfit too?]

[Glue Man: I think that's very possible.]

[Amen: If that's the case, then since both of them got new clothes, doesn't that mean the Trailblazer gets one too?]

"Right! Exactly! Three people, everybody gets new clothes together!" Siberian Duck said excitedly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

[Madam Herta Fan Club: Then what about the other little ones from the Xianzhou?]

[Nero's Sword: They left the Xianzhou in such a hurry, so they probably didn't have time to get new outfits.]

The scene of March changing clothes had everyone overflowing with excitement.

However, once the camera switched to the Trailblazer, disappointment became inevitable.

Because Stelle was still wearing the same old outfit as before. Her mouth opened slightly in amazement at first, but she quickly regained control of her expression.

"When did you buy that?" Stelle asked with a smile.

"It's always been sitting in my wardrobe. I just never had a chance to wear it before." March sounded a little smug.

As she started talking again, the icy fairy aura around her faded somewhat, and more of her usual Little March personality returned.

"I'm done changing too!"

At that moment, the door to March's room opened, and Nero walked in from outside.

The boy had shed the loose robes he usually wore and changed into a much more modern, cleaner-cut outfit.

Over the outside was a dark tweed overcoat. Underneath were a dark gray striped vest and a white dress shirt.

The shirt collar was raised neatly, and around it was tied a dark blue necktie streaked with faint white lines like flowing wind.

From the third button of the vest downward extended a platinum-colored chain that hung naturally in an arc before disappearing into the lower left pocket of the vest. It was a pocket watch.

On the lower half, he wore tweed trousers in the same color scheme as the vest, along with polished black leather shoes.

On his head sat a black short-brimmed formal hat, trimmed with a dark blue band.

One side of the band was decorated with a pure white sword-shaped ornament and a fish-shaped ornament.

Combined with Nero's "looking down on everything" gaze, the outfit gave him a rather imposing presence.

Yet his doll-like features, clear eyes, and snow-white hair also added a playful edge to that intimidating pressure.

Nero spun once in front of March and Stelle, blinking as he asked, "So? Does it suit me? Brother Aventurine said my eyes are perfect for this kind of outfit. Feels like I'm some big-shot boss from a movie."
