Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1 – THE THREADS OF THREE WORLDS

In a silent corner of a peaceful world, on a planet called Earth, a teenage boy named Mavis was trapped inside a dream he could not control.

He stood in the middle of a colossal battlefield.

The sky was torn apart by crimson lightning. Mountains collapsed in the distance. Titanic silhouettes clashed, releasing forces beyond his understanding. Steel shattered. A deep, ancient roar echoed across the horizon—so vast it felt like it came from the end of existence itself.

He tried to move.

Tried to speak.

Tried to see clearly.

But everything drowned in violent light.

And then—

White consumed the world.

Mavis gasped and jolted awake.

He found himself sitting beneath a large tree, sunlight pouring through swaying leaves. The warmth on his skin felt real. Too real. A soft breeze calmed his racing heart.

"…The sky feels different today," he muttered.

A dream?

A memory?

A warning?

Before the thought could settle, a voice shattered the silence.

"You idiot! Daydreaming again?" his friend George shouted while running toward him. "Hurry up! It's getting late!"

Mavis blinked, rubbing his head as he stood. Something felt missing—like he had forgotten something important. Yet no matter how hard he tried, the dream had completely vanished.

With a quiet sigh, he followed George down the path.

The world slowly faded to black.

EARTH X231 – ANOTHER ORDINARY DAY?

Another world.

Another sky.

Inside a brightly lit classroom on Earth X231, a teenage boy named Renjiro lay sprawled across his desk, deeply asleep as the teacher lectured.

"YOU! OUT!" the teacher roared.

Renjiro stood without complaint, brushed off his uniform, and walked straight through the school gate. No anger. No embarrassment. Just a lazy yawn as sunlight washed over him.

He lifted his gaze to the sky.

"Haaa… this feels nice…" he whispered.

Completely unaware of what was waiting for him.

EARTH – NIGHT STREETS

Back on Earth, Mavis and George sat at a roadside restaurant under flickering neon lights, chatting about their upcoming final exams while finishing their meal.

When they were done, George suddenly froze.

"…Mavis," he whispered. "I think I forgot my money."

Mavis' face twisted in pure betrayal.

Before either could move, the shopkeeper stepped closer.

Mavis checked his wallet—he had barely enough to cover just his own meal.

Still, he placed the money down.

"See you tomorrow," he said calmly, giving George a small wave as he walked away.

George sighed in relief.

Until the shopkeeper's heavy hand dropped on his shoulder.

"Well, boy," the man grinned, "looks like I just hired a new helper."

George's soul left his body.

EARTH X231 – THE RUMBLING INSIDE

Renjiro arrived at his quiet home bathed in orange sunset. His dog rushed toward him, tail wagging.

He didn't react.

Today, something felt wrong.

He passed the empty living room. The silent kitchen. The quiet hallway.

His father worked far away.

His mother was gone.

He climbed to his room and shut the door.

The moment he sat on his bed—

Pain exploded through his chest.

His heartbeat spiraled out of control.

"Why… does today feel so wrong…?" he whispered, gripping his shirt.

His breath shattered.

And the world shifted again.

WARSHATTER II – THE GRAVE OF A WAR

A blood-soaked planet.

Shattered red runes glowing across black stone.

Ash fell like snow beneath a grey, endless sky.

This was Warshatter II—a world that had long forgotten peace.

The war had ended.

Only the dead remained.

Corpses lay scattered. Limbs buried in mud. Rivers of blood crept through cracked ground. The battlefield had become a silent grave.

At the center, a lone warrior lay broken.

His armor was shattered. His body drenched in blood. But his eyes still glowed.

Royal Guards in pristine white armor surrounded him.

One raised his blade.

"Finish him."

The wounded warrior—Malakar—laughed weakly.

"…So I wasn't the chosen one after all," he whispered.

His broken laughter echoed.

Steel descended.

Blood spilled.

Silence reigned.

The captain spoke calmly.

"Bring the six."

Six specific corpses—including Malakar's—were gathered and buried together beneath the dark soil.

As the flames consumed the bodies, the captain murmured,

"It's finally over… Malakar."

A messenger bird flew into the grey sky.

The war on Warshatter II had ended.

Or so they believed.
