Synopsis
Hiraeth (Hee-ra-ert).
Ira wakes up without a memory of who she is in a small, foreign town. Her head is empty, but her heart is not. Lodged there is Hiraeth—an agonizing sense of longing, which constantly mourns, searching for a person or a place she can no longer reach.
She is saved by a stranger. The man urges Ira not to recover her memories. Because, behind Ira's amnesia, lies a threatening secret.
Every returning memory fragment, in fact, brings Ira closer to a darker, much darker dilemma.
Hiraeth is a story about the pursuit of self-identity, forbidden love, and the moral price of truth.
