Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Ryuzaki

"Yes," Ryuzaki nodded, "You abandoned Uzushiogakure."

Tsunade clenched her fists.

"But if we had shown our support Kumogakure might have withdrawn. The Second Ninja World War hadn't truly begun yet, we could've scared them away and relocated within enough time to regroup. For Kirigakure it would become meaningless to continue as Kumogakure would become a threat while Kumogakure would have to guard against Iwagakure's assault." Tsunade frowned.

"Do you think you're more politically savvy than the Hokage and elders of Konoha? Hah? Arrogant fool, do you not realise the real reason behind Uzumaki's destruction?"

"What do you mean?"

"Uzumaki can never truly be allowed to join Konoha. Due to Uzumaki Mito's precedent as a Jinchuriki and the Uzumaki's being a natural counter to tailed beasts. If Konoha allowed the Uzumaki to relocate and join them all the Ninja Villages would immediately launch a brutal war against Konoha regardless of consequence to ensure Konoha wouldn't use the Uzumaki to capture and control all tailed beasts, not to mention how the Uzumaki were near-perfect vessels for the tailed beasts."

With a sigh, Ryuzaki shook his head, "In the end, from the start Konoha had decided against aiding the Uzumaki."

What Ryuzaki didn't tell Tsunade was his suspicion that Black Zetsu and Madara might've been playing their hand while secretly controlling the Third Mizukage. Otherwise, there was no possible way Kirigakure could've rallied its forces to launch such a brutal attack impromptu. The Kage of the Villages were simply the strongest figureheads, decisions that affected the entire village had to pass through a council regardless.

"... Why are you telling me all this?" Tsunade took a deep breath as she realised the chilling reality of the supposed destruction of Uzushiogakure.

Nevertheless, that didn't change the suspicious nature of the man in front of her.

He looked no older than twenty yet the regal way he spoke commanded authority.

"Nothing special, since you've become my slave I don't mind sharing some uncomfortable truths with you."

"Bastard!" Tsunade hissed as she realised something.

A few minutes had passed yet Shizune showed no intention of barging in. "What is your goal!?" She demanded and Ryuzaki laughed.

"Do you think after days of preparation the sole purpose of this seal was to restrict your Chakra and movements?"

Tsunade's heart started racing as cold sweat began pouring down her forehead, "You…" just as she spoke the seal lifted and Tsunade felt her Chakra return.

Just as she was about to bust this building down in fury Ryuzaki's calm voice interrupted her.

"Check your heart."

Tsunade froze in place as she hastily utilised her Chakra.

"What's that mark… Bastard you fucking bastard!"

"Tsunade-sama?"

Shizune's voice interrupted from outside.

"Is everything alright?"

Tsunade trembled as she clenched her fists in anger. She glared at Ryuzaki with hatred before slowly letting her fingers relax.

"...I'm fine."

"Oh, okay."

Tsunade looked at Ryuzaki with a grave expression. The sealing script had etched itself on her heart and could be activated within milliseconds with a command from the man in front of her. If it were simply a seal that would cause her fatal injuries or even death she could've used the Yin Seal but the seal's sole purpose was to strip her of Chakra and movement.

It was now clear that the primary reason Ryuzaki had engaged in a conversation with her was to buy time for the seal to migrate towards her heart.

Another reason for her apprehension was that the Chakra that erupted from his body for a brief moment made her realise that the man in front of her had at least a Jonin's level Chakra. The current six-year-old Shizune stood no chance against him. It was a clear warning to her.

How could his Chakra control be so precise?

Tsunade was inwardly shaken. To have such Chakra reserves and yet not reveal a hint of it…

What should I do now? Have I really become a slave? Unless I could return to Konoha somehow…

Tsunade felt her heart drop as her face turned grave.

"Has reality settled in for you?"

Ryuzaki's cold voice echoed in her ears and she lifted her to glare at him with hatred.

"Curb that hatred. You wouldn't want me to hurt that child outside would you?"

"You! You're despicable!" Tsunade hissed as she trembled.

Was this man in front of her really ruthless enough to move against an innocent child? Tsunade dared not test him.

With a resigned sigh she slumped in place.

At the same time, Ryuzaki threw a brush at her. "Write down all the Ninjutsu you know, including your Super Strength and the Yin-Seal." He pointed towards the diamond on her forehead.

Tsunade didn't dare glare at him as she gritted her teeth. Why? Why was she being forced into something like this?

Should I just—

"The moment you try to commit suicide I'll chop off that brat's limbs. I wonder how life would feel crippled."

The sheer brutality of those words made Tsunade freeze in terror. A sense of desolation settled in her captured heart.

She picked up the brush and began writing on a scroll with a blank expression.

Ryuzaki observing her made no move to interrupt. Now that she was in his grasp he could savour her to his heart's content. But first, he needed three things from her.

First, the principle behind her Super Strength. He hadn't remembered much about the manga but a few key details remained. Tsunade's sheer strength couldn't have been physical, Chakra was undoubtedly involved.

Considering her nature as a medical ninja Chakra control should play a part as well. He had a few ideas himself but he didn't want to test his own limits and end up dead. It was better to have Tsunade give him all the knowledge he required.

Second, he remembered she had a healing ability that worked on the principle of infinite regeneration aka immortality. He didn't remember the price she paid for this but it definitely did have something to do with the Yin-Seal on her forehead.

Ryuzaki was confident he could find a quick path to strength by controlling Tsunade. For the majority of his life as an Emperor, he had focused on Chakra control in his free time with nothing better to do. At the same time, he had been guiding Hagoromo and Hamuro to create Ninjutsu but both stubbornly resisted finding no need for such offensive arts to exist.

He had barely convinced them to help him master Sealing Script using Yin-Yang Release. The Seal used against Tsunade was similar and simpler in comparison but because he lacked Yin-Yang Release now it had taken him days to create such a basic seal.

Ryuzaki's current body was in essence an artificial clone created through the Divine Seed. His primary goal in this world was to first find his main body and unseal it. Once his main body was released he would plunge this world into despair.

If not for his own considerations how could he have allowed himself to be sealed?

If peace was what those arrogant fools had sought when manipulating his children into sealing him and Kaguya then Ryuzaki would show them what true hell was.

"Tsunade-sama!"

Little Shizune jumped in surprise when the door suddenly opened. The pig in her arms oinked in response.

"Let's go, Shizune." Tsunade's listless voice reached Shizune's ears.

Shizune, still young, didn't notice the worry in Tsunade's eyes. All she saw was a dejected Tsunade.

"It's okay if you lost Tsunade-sama, we can make it back in the future."

"...Of course." Tsunade patted Shizune's head with a strained smile, "Let's go have something to eat."

The Seal in her heart also relayed her location to Ryuzaki at all times. He had warned her that if he sensed her or Shizune leaving this town he'd imprison her and personally hunt Shizune down. After all, Konoha couldn't protect Shizune forever.

Especially now that he had access to all her Jutsu. His own Chakra control made it abundantly clear it wouldn't take him to reach her own level, whether it be in medical arts or physical strength.

She was trapped.

Hopeless.

It took Ryuzaki five hours to read through all the techniques Tsunade left him.

He wasn't surprised to find that the majority of them were Healing Ninjutsu.

What left him delighted was the design behind Super Strength. It was indeed complicated yet simple in attempt.

The core of the technique was simple.

The Chakra reserves had to be first divided into portions. 20% was kept in reserve for emergencies. The remaining 80% was divided equally into the hands and feet.

First, one had to master being in this state perfectly. This meant having Chakra control so precise that while manipulating it equally into four parts you could act as normally as possible, as flexibly as possible.

Now comes the crux of the technique.

The way Super Strength worked was similar to a bomb. Upon impact, you have to drag out a minuscule amount of Chakra and have it erupt on contact. This would create a deadly Chakra explosion. The remaining Chakra enveloping the hands and feet keep them safe from the explosion like a barrier. Due to the minuscule drain and depending on your own Chakra regeneration, you could technically fight for a very very long time without getting exhausted.

The more control you had the better.

And the most important, Chakra Reserves!

Tsunade, the Princess of Konoha, was a mixed blood Senju and Uzumaki. Even this "minuscule" amount was what the majority of Genin or even Chunin had in their entirety.

Due to all these factors Tsunade Senju was born, a woman capable of bursting mountains and shattering Susanoos.

Miss even one of these components and you'd be useless.

But Ryuzaki was unique. Besides Chakra Reserves he checked all the boxes. In fact, his regeneration was much more potent than Tsunade's. This would allow him to attribute a larger percentage of Chakra in his attacks without fearing Chakra exhaustion.

The other two techniques he received, which were important, were Creation Rebirth and Yin-Seal. Yin-Seal was like a massive reservoir for extra Chakra. It was like having a mini tailed-beast. As for Creation Rebirth, by sacrificing lifespan one could regenerate instantly from any wound, no matter how fatal.

If Ryuzaki's theory was correct…

A soft smile spread across his face as he got up and settled things with the innkeeper.

…

Knock! Knock!

A soft rustle sounded from inside, followed by faint footsteps.

"Who's there?" A small child peeked out from behind the door, looking at the visitor with large watery eyes.

Ryuzaki was momentarily stunned as memories of his own children flooded his mind. They were once as innocent as the child in front of him, clinging to his sleeves mumbling papa papa at any given moment.

"Who are you?" Shizune looked at the dazed but incredibly handsome man in front of her with confusion. From what she remembered, the irresponsible Tsunade had no friends.

Ryuzaki crouched down, wanting to pat her head but Shizune leapt back and kunai stood horizontally across her chest as she glared at him with wariness. An expression that shouldn't have belonged on her childish face.

"Calm down Shizune." Tsunade's voice sounded from inside. But there was something wrong. Ryuzaki frowned as he stepped inside.

"Why is one of the Konoha Sannin living like this? This isn't any different from a pigsty. Don't you know this is bad for Shizune's health?"

"Hah? You cruel fucker~ don't hiccup try to l-lecture me." Tsunade sat slumped against a table, her upper body leaning against it as she rested her head in her hands. Her face was flushed and a bottle of sake was dangling in her hand.

Shizune seemed embarrassed by her behaviour.

"I'm sorry, she's usually not like this." Now that it was confirmed Tsunade knew the man Shizune's wariness was gone, her eyes tinged with curiosity.

Ryuzaki ruffled her hair softly while chuckling, "It's okay, I'll beat her back into her senses."

Before Shizune could understand the meaning behind his words she saw the insanely handsome (her point of view) Ryuzaki walk up to the tipsy Tsunade and stand in front of her.

Bang!

"Argh—!"

"Lady Tsunade!"

Tsunade was kicked into the wall and the entire room quaked. The sake bottle flew from her hand and landed nearby.
