Chapter 1
I was walking on the path walk when I suddenly saw Sir Villaflor come out of the classroom. He is our first subject instructor in the morning and he is probably done teaching our section.
I noticed that we were on the same path that Sir was walking. I often avoid him but in this situation, I know he can see me too so I didn't deviate from the road. I just walked straight until we met.
"Good morning, Sir." I greeted when we are close.
"If you always come in at this time, Ms. Castino, you will be really irregular next semester." Sir replied
"I'll be early next time." I smiled.
Sir just nodded and continued walking. I also went straight to the classroom.
When I entered the door, I found sir Jeff talking in front. Our instructor in the major. But I was wondering why he was early. His class with us is at the afternoon.
"Castino." He loudly mentioned my last name which made all my classmates turn around at the door, "I thought you were going to play dota all day."
"That was my plan, sir, but I can't be absent now." I explain.
"It's good that you remembered what's going on now." He answered, "Okay, you can go to your next classes. And Castino, Narcilla and Cadenas, will stay."
Then, my classmates led the way out of the classroom, and the four of us were left in the room. Andrei Narcilla who is sitting in the front with a headset while listening to music, Marlyn Navarro, our lesbian classmate who doesn't talk much, who is sitting in the front, two seats from Andrei, Sir Jeff who is sitting at the Instructor's table while doing something in his box size laptop, and I, Rhea Castino, a well-known dota player in our school, who went to the very back to sit.
"Are we still waiting for someone, Sir?" Andrei asked Sir impatiently.
"Yes, Narcilla. Soon the people from other sections will be here." Sir replied to him who was focused on his laptop.
A few minutes later I heard the door open. Enter three men and a lesbian. They all sit next to each other in the second row from the front.
"Where's Gonzaga?" Sir asked the young men who had just arrived when he caught a glimpse of them.
"He is still in the room, sir." replied the lesbian.
Sir just nodded and continued with what he was busy with.
We waited a few more minutes. It's boring. It's tiring to wait even just sitting.
Soon, the door opened again and several men entered. Until they came one after the other and the classroom was gradually filling up. Only the seat next to me was empty.
After a while, sir began to speak. Sir is talking about the upcoming dota tournament and we all know that it is tomorrow afternoon.
He mentioned tournament mechanics and other little details and reminders. The so-called meeting ended there and the winner tomorrow will compete in the by school tournament.
All the students left the room and I was the last one to leave. When I came out, I saw Sir Jeff outside talking to a young man. I ignored them and just passed behind the young man that sir was talking to.
"Castino, come closer first." Sir called me when he noticed me passing behind the young man.
I should not have gone there.
I just approached them and as I approached, the young man kept looking at me. He stared at me from head to toe. He seemed strict yet handsome. Her blonde hair suits her fair complexion.
"She is Rhea Castino. The pride of section C-2. She's good too." Introducing sir, "If you need anything, just come to him."
The young man looked at me again from head to toe and then looked at sir again.
I just raised an eyebrow at him and spoke, "Tutor doesn't seemed needed to him, sir."
"Don't complain, Castino or you will fail in my subject." Sir jokingly instructed then said goodbye to us.
"Are you really good?" the young man asked doubtfully and looked at me.
"I have nothing to prove to you." I respond in an irritated tone, "And don't talk as if we're close." I turned my back on him and walked away.
"Not really, but I don't need to be close to challenge you to a game." The young man answered and followed me on foot.
"Will you treat me?" I answered while still walking.
"If I lose, I'll pay for your time, but if you lose, you'll give me your number." He challenged with a mischievous smile.
I stopped walking and turned to him, "Where are we going to play?"
================================
I gave an intense game to mr. arrogant. We played at the nearest internet café from school. That's where I often play.
It's just that, I didn't expect what happened. The sentinel loses and the scourge wins. I guess today is not my day.
"Unbelievable." I grumbled as the score board flashed on the screen. He only has two points to me.
I couldn't wait for the game to go back to the beginning. When I saw the score, I immediately stood up and quietly went to the counter to pay. He immediately followed me when he saw me stand up and went to the counter. We paid almost at the same time and then left the net café.
"Just wait…." He even called me while chasing me and holding his cell phone. "Your number."
I dictated my number without looking at him while continuing to walk.
He hurriedly typed my number on his cell phone and saved it.
"Ceejay Gonzaga by the way." His words automatically stopped my feet from walking and slowly turned to him.
A small smile formed on my face that I didn't realize then answered, "Nice meeting you." Then I turned my back on him and continued walking.
"Wait, you haven't said your name yet." He shouted. And it seems that he didn't follow me anymore because I can't hear his steps anymore.
"You didn't ask." I shouted back without looking at him.
You are really crazy man.
Sir already mentioned it earlier yet you still asked.
