Chapter 17
- Third Person's POV -
"Hey! Noisy!" Almira shouted at the young men who were singing as she passed by them.
Almost all of the young men grinned and turned to where Almira, who was walking to the long table with Rhea, Ceejay and Otso.
"What took you so long?" Nono said, "We're all hungry here."
"Then let's eat." Otso said as he removed the lid one by one from the stainless dish that was lined up on the long table.
Rhea helped to speed up and they put all the covers on an empty table at the end of the long table. Almira arranged the disposable spoons and paper plates at the front of the long table.
"Eat now, gluttons." Nono leading the way even before Otso invited them.
The young men who had been singing followed behind Nono and eagerly went to the front of the long table.
"Let's eat." Otso invited the other members who were just sitting looking at the other members who were already at the long table. They seemed too shy to approach.
Some shyly nodded and took the initiative to stand up and join the other members at the long table.
"What? Shall we sing it again?" Lil_ron even joked while taking rice.
Uno, who was next to Lil_ron, grinned, "Happy birthday, Otso. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday, Eight."
"Let's do Eight, Eight, Eight, Eight, more.." Nono jokingly added while grinning and raising his shoulders as he sang. While his hand was busy taking a dish from the table.
Otso slapped his forehead, "Please Uno and Nono. If it's not this house that explodes, our eardrums might be punctured."
Uno faced Otso with a sneer when he finished taking food from the table, "Why? My voice was good?"
Otso gave him a half smile, "Just eat, Boss. You're so hungry, you can't hear yourself anymore."
"Yeah. I only hear your voice." He replied with a smile then winked at the girl.
Everyone cheered with mockery while Otso raised an eyebrow looking at Uno leaving the long table.
"Shit. The food is covered with ants." Juviler sneered even more.
"Hurry up! I'm hungry!" Rhea shouted in the midst of the noisy crowd in front of the long table as she tried to raise her hand to get a plate and spoon.
"Eat your Princebeybe!" Lil_ron shouted as he left the crowd with a paper plate full of food.
"I'm not a carnivore." The girl answered with a frown while looking at Lil_ron.
"But you just ate his heart." Nono continued teasing as he passed in front of the girl.
The members made even more noise because they mocked Rhea and laughed at Nono's teasing.
"What do you think of me? Monster?" The girl answered almost laughing mixed with annoyance.
"Nope. But most likely a toddler." Juviler continued to laugh after taking the food and exiting the gathering of members.
The girl laughed, "Is 20 years old still young to you?"
"Yes. Because you like to eat two eggs and a hotdog with nestle cream." Juviler's face was almost torn from his grin when he pissed off the girl.
The loud laughter of the members echoed throughout the house, especially the men who heard. The girl couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Hey! I'm too young for that." Rhea answered almost laughing.
"Might still be young. But knows how to make a child. All right!" Juviler added another joke then smiled almost tearing his mouth from being so big.
The house shook again due to the loud laughter and teasing of the members. Rhea slightly chased after Juviler to hit him, but he just smiled and weakly ran away from her.
"What a mess you are!" Otso laughed.
"You're hungry, aren't you?" Ceejay suddenly reached out and stood in front of the smiling girl.
The young woman looked at him with a frown, "What do you think?"
"It's like you're not hungry with that sarcasm of yours." The young man said with a slight snort.
The girl raised one of her eyebrows while emphatically crossing her eyebrows, "Of course. Isn't it obvious?"
"Answer me now so you can be full of my love every day." The young man spoke while smiling and his eyes were shining.
The young woman only gave a half smile with her eyes narrowed in annoyance, "I need food to be full every day." She stressed.
"Here." The young man immediately handed Rhea the paper plate full of food that he took earlier from the long table.
The girl grinned and immediately took it from the young man's hand and walked with it to where the other members were eating.
"Where's my 'yes'?" The young man asked the girl wordlessly as she left in front of him.
The girl took a bite first and then sat next to Boss Ganda who was eating, "Did you ask for it?"
The young man approached the girl and sat down in the empty seat in front of the girl. He was seriously looking at the young woman eating while the young woman was ignoring the young man's look at her and was busy with every morsel in her mouth.
"Where is your 'yes' to my question 'are we in a relationship?'" The young man asked weakly and seriously.
Boss Ganda turned to Ceejay when she heard his voice and also glanced at Rhea. Ceejay and Rhea looked at each other as the girl chewed and tried to read the young man's mind. The girl lowered the paper plate she was holding and placed it on her legs while swallowing what was inside her mouth.
The young man was silent and patiently waiting for the girl's answer while they exchanged serious looks. Boss Ganda silently examines the faces of the two to see if anything has changed in the emotionless faces of the two.
"Look it up in the dictionary." Weak but sarcastic answer of the girl who did not break her eye contact with the young man.
The reaction of the young man's face was a teasing smirk then he brought his face closer to the girl, "If I couldn't get you in a decent talk, then let's proceed to the rough road."
With a serious and poker face, the girl brought her face closer to the young man, their noses almost touching but there was still a little gap between them.
"Well, let's get going." Rhea answered weakly in a tone that seemed to challenge the young man to stand firm in his words.
Boss Ganda's eyes widened and she covered her mouth with her hand. While the two of them stared at each other seriously.
Later, Ceejay pulled Rhea's arm to stand up at the same time as he stood up, causing the girl's food to spill.
Ceejay forcefully pulled the girl closer to him and the girl did nothing to the young man's sudden action but fell on his chest with wide eyes. He bent his knee and tied his arm around the girl's legs and lifted her up.
"AAHH!!." Only a loud scream came out of the girl's mouth when she felt him rise.
Everyone automatically stopped and turned in their direction. Everyone's face shows shock. Others are smiling while teasing them while others are happy while enjoying watching them.
"Yes, yes." Rhea exclaimed nervously, "P-Put me down."
"What 'yes'?" Ceejay teased with a silly smile.
"I-Its a yes. Just put me down." The girl's voice trembled when it came out of her mouth. She is nervous about the possible destination of Ceejay carrying him.
Suddenly, the binding of the young man on Rhea's legs loosened and she slid down in front of the young man. The girl's hands rested on both of the young man's shoulders while the young man grinned as he looked at Rhea. The girl's face turned red as she met the young man's shining eyes with a frown.
"We are officially together? Seriously?" The young man snarled in disbelief as his white teeth came out.
The girl was still frowning when she looked down, "Do I have to say it again?"
"Because I didn't hear properly. What was that?" The young man's pretense mixed with teasing.
The girl glanced slightly at him, "Put your ears closer."
The young man immediately smiled and put his ear to the girl's mouth, then the girl put her two hands on both of his mouths.
"Are you deaf?" The girl screamed in Ceejay's ear.
Everyone burst out laughing as they looked at them. Others mocked Ceejay while others were very happy with them.
Ceejay stepped back in annoyance while Rhea looked at him with a grin. The girl seemed very happy with what she did.
Ceejay pulled the girl closer to him again. And even before the girl stuck to his chest, she immediately leaned her hands on his chest.
"Y-yeah that's right. W-We are officially together. Just don't pick me up anymore." The girl nervously exclaimed while looking down.
She avoided his gaze so as not to see her blushing cheeks.
"Really?" The young man said in disbelief with a smile on his face.
The girl's eyebrows met, forced to be annoyed even though she was embarrassed by what she said. She seemed to want to take back what she said but it was already out of her mouth so she had to stand her ground.
The young woman glanced slightly at Ceejay's face and saw that the young man was very happy with the huge smile on his face.
The young woman nervously pressed her hand together as she looked away from the young man and stared at her hand, "Yes indeed."
"Yes!!" The young man shouted and suddenly hugged the girl very tightly, "I love you, Rhea." He whispered to the girl.
Suddenly, the whole house roared with mockery and teasing by some members. The others were just smiling while happily watching the two, while the others were constantly teasing them.
The girl buried her face in her hands because of the embarrassment and blushing of her face. While the young man hugging the girl was thrilled.
But in the middle of the noise that echoed throughout the house, a guitar strum slowly silenced everyone, causing the two to gradually separate from each other. All attention was directed to where the guitar's strumming was coming from, then the girl removed her hand from her face and looked too.
Everyone was very happy while listening to Jc's group singing while Rhuji and Jc played the guitar. They were all enjoying themselves, especially Rhea who was smiling and just focused her eyes on Jc.
Together they pointed at Jc with a pissed off smile.
"Hey! What the heck?" Jc almost laughed at them.
"It's not possible for us." Juviler even joked.
The young men were laughing and singing to themselves, looking like fools.
"These men are fools." Otso was smiling.
"Where is the red horse? Bring it out!" Rhuji demanded.
"In the mountains, man. Look for it." Akinka teased more.
Rhuji jokingly hit Akinka who was smiling earlier.
"Alright. To the girls who have finished eating, you can go up to the balcony. I'll have the boys deliver our drinks. Then boys in the living room, no one goes upstairs." Otso gave a long explanation in the middle of the noisy surroundings.
