After dinner and some simple questions and answers, Takina Inoue had seemingly integrated into Chen's family.
However, more questions arose.
After all, she was still a young girl, and at her age, it was truly hard not to care about some things.
But her main goal now was just to return as soon as possible, so she didn't need to understand everything clearly and could endure it.
After dinner, they cleaned up the kitchen and everyone went upstairs together.
Takina Inoue had a regular routine, so she immediately started bathing and preparing for bed.
Lord Chen, on the other hand, took Tohru and the others to the third floor to experience the games he had bought.
With Lord Chen leading, Tohru and Chisato Nishikigi naturally became interested in the games. However, Utaha Kasumigaoka didn't have time to play with them; she still had to write her novel.
"Chen, when I finish writing my novel, teach me magic," Utaha Kasumigaoka said as she walked towards the study, not forgetting to remind him.
"Got it, I can teach you all night without a problem."
"Hmph~ With my brain, I won't need to study all night."
"Chen ge, what is learning magic?" Chisato Nishikigi asked curiously.
"It's this."
As Lord Chen spoke, he extended a hand, palm facing upwards. Immediately after, a flame bloomed in his palm. The flame was a sacred golden color, exuding a divine aura and full of vitality.
This was an ability Lord Chen gained after awakening his first Familiar, a power inherent to the Familiar itself, which he could use freely.
"Oh!" Chisato Nishikigi stared at the flame in Lord Chen's palm in surprise, feeling a familiar sensation from it.
"This feeling... it's so familiar."
"Is that so?" Lord Chen was not surprised at all.
Speaking of which, Chisato Nishikigi had two fragments of Divinity on her: one was the fragment where his first Familiar resided, obtained from Frieren, and the other was one she inherently possessed.
Although he also possessed this fragment of Divinity now, existing simultaneously, as long as he didn't acquire it, it remained in a Schrödinger's state.
Given that he could traverse time and space, he was already beyond paradoxes, so the simultaneous existence of Divinity fragments was entirely reasonable.
However, what he was more curious about was why he still couldn't acquire the other fragment on Chisato Nishikigi.
There wasn't even a method to acquire it.
He didn't think that there was still a lack of trust or affection between them now, so it could only be due to other reasons.
On the other hand, he could already acquire the fragment of Divinity on Kanna. When he woke up this morning, the "her" in his mind had indicated that the conditions were met.
That was just one night.
Indeed, Kanna was just a child; even a dragon who had lived for over ten thousand years was still too easily trusting.
However, this wasn't due to her lack of vigilance, but rather his prerequisite: Tohru's trust in him.
If it weren't for Tohru, Kanna wouldn't have interacted with him at all.
"Chen ge, can I also learn magic?" Chisato Nishikigi asked.
"Are you also interested in magic?"
"Of course I am! It can even conjure fire."
"Fire is just the simplest. There's also magic that can conjure a flower field, and magic that means you don't need to wash up."
"I don't want the magic that means I don't need to wash up; it feels more secure after washing. But I'm very interested in the magic that conjures a flower field," Chisato Nishikigi said.
"But cleaning magic can make you perfectly clean, and washing up doesn't necessarily get you clean enough... wouldn't it be fine if you used cleaning magic and then washed up?" Lord Chen analyzed.
"Oh, that seems right," Chisato Nishigiki realized.
"So, do you still want to learn it?" Lord Chen asked with a smile.
"Then I want to learn all of them!"
"Hehe~ Don't get too excited too soon. What if you can't cultivate magic power? Without magic power, you can't cast spells."
"Eh—" Chisato Nishikigi frowned worriedly.
"Haha, actually, there's no need to worry." Lord Chen put away the golden flame and then ruffled her hair.
"Even if you can't cultivate magic power, I have other ways."
"Chen ge is so mean! He actually scared me!" Chisato Nishikigi pouted and threw herself into Lord Chen's arms, lightly punching his chest.
"How can this be called scaring you?" Lord Chen hugged her, chuckling softly.
"It is!"
"Alright, alright, it's my fault, okay?"
"Not enough, I need compensation!" Chisato Nishikigi looked up, pouting and staring at him.
"Compensation? What kind of compensation do you want?"
"Hehe~" Chisato Nishikigi giggled foolishly, then tilted her head back and closed her eyes.
"..."
Without her needing to say more, Lord Chen naturally knew what she meant by this idea.
Goodness, she wanted to take advantage of him again. But he wasn't a stingy person; it was just compensation, what couldn't he satisfy?
However, it was a bit difficult right now.
"Stare..."
At this moment, Tohru and Kanna were both staring at him, one with narrowed, dangerous eyes, and the other with wide, innocent eyes.
"Lord Chen, Lord Chen, what are you two doing?" Kanna asked directly.
"Um... we're not doing anything." Lord Chen decisively abandoned the idea of compensating Chisato Nishikigi.
"Let's go, I'll take you to play games."
"Oh!"
"Eh? Lord Chen?" Only then did Chisato Nishikigi realize that Lord Chen had already released her and was walking into the game room.
"Hurry and follow," Lord Chen called to her as if nothing had happened.
"What about my compensation?"
"Next time for sure!"
"How can you be like this!" Chisato Nishikigi pouted in dissatisfaction.
"Hmph hmph~ Serves you right," Tohru mocked triumphantly.
"What?" Chisato Nishikigi glared at her, annoyed: "Can't I even let Chen ge kiss me?"
"I didn't say you couldn't. It's Lord Chen himself who's unwilling. You're really something, too. How could Lord Chen do something like that in front of Kanna?" Tohru reminded her.
"Oh, right... Huh?" Chisato Nishikigi paused, looking at Tohru in surprise.
"What?"
"You're not jealous of Kanna anymore?" Chisato Nishikigi asked, smiling as she looked at her.
"Of course not. Kanna is just a child; Lord Chen only sees her as a child."
"It's amazing how quickly you understood that."
"Hmph~ You reminded me, so I'll grudgingly thank you," Tohru said, turning her head away awkwardly.
"Is that so~ Is that so~" Chisato Nishikigi leaned closer to Tohru, happily trying to hug her.
"Don't hug me! Only Lord Chen can hug me!" Tohru pushed her away without hesitation and turned to walk into the game room.
"..." Chisato Nishikigi twitched her lips and followed her.
In the game room, Lord Chen was already teaching Kanna how to play games. He was teaching her Pokémon, an early version.
He was quite familiar with the early version; although he used to play pirated copies, the storyline was the same, so he was too lazy to complete it again himself.
Kanna was very interested in Pokémon and sat there seriously playing on her Game Boy by herself.
Lord Chen, on the other hand, took Tohru and Chisato Nishikigi to play Mario, a game they could all play together.
Playing games together was very enjoyable. Unbeknownst to them, two and a half hours passed. Around ten o'clock, Utaha Kasumigaoka finished writing her novel and came to find them.
"Chen, it's time to teach me magic."
"Wait, let me finish this round... Do you want to join?"
"What is this?"
"It's a platformer. I'll teach you."
"Alright."
Utaha Kasumigaoka sat in the spot Lord Chen had just vacated, taking over the game, while Lord Chen guided her from the side.
The round ended quickly, and Utaha Kasumigaoka wasn't particularly excited. She pulled Lord Chen to her room to learn magic.
Chisato Nishikigi followed closely behind.
It wasn't fun playing games alone, so Tohru also didn't want to play anymore. She happened to want to see what human magic was like, so she followed them out of the game room.
Only Kanna was already engrossed in the game, sitting motionless on the sofa, staring at the game console, her small hands pressing the buttons without a pause.
