Two day later, sitting together in a circle are all the eight straykids members. They had planned before to celebrate a moment together before Christmas and share gifts and just have a blast before each member would carry on with their own personal Christmas plan.
Felix was singing loudly, the jungle bells Christmas song in his deep voice. It was lovely.
I.N. was simping over his hyung's ultimate cool aura and voice.
Soon the rest of the members join in, all harmonizing withbhis deep voice and gave a round of applause to Felix after the song was over.
It was now time for the awaited Gift Exchange.
Chan tries to give a little speech as the leader but he forgot who his members were.
One long round of 'yawns and coughs and little snickering here and there' later, Chan sat down with a painful but loving smile. Being a dad of 7 kids wasn't easy.
Minutes later, it was time. Starting from the oldest member, every member was to present a gift. It was expected to be something packaged well and genuinely out of love.
Everyone was supposed to give Chan something, and then Lee know and then….till the last member, the maknae.
"I'm going first?" Lee know confirms.
"Yeah!!" they chorused.
"Okay." Clears throat.
"So," Lee know starts. "Because hyung doesn't eat alot this days and he works very hard for us,"
"Chan works a lot, like so much. it's crazy." Hyunjin adds.
They all nod their heads in agreement as they stared at a shy Bangchan, smiling and lowering his head in embarrassment.
"Baby Chan, du du du du, baby Chan…." Changbin and Han starts singing out of no where and every erupted in laughter and sings along.
It was too much for chan. He is someone who gets very shy when complimented and never knows how to respond confidently. It's cute.
"Not helping guys," he thought looking up at Changbin.
"We all work hard" he finally said hoping they would stop complimenting him.
"Liar!" I.N. suddenly yells and they all laughed.
Lee know continued.
"So because my hyung works so hard,..." he said pointing at chan, "...and dosen't eat, I bought him something special."
He lifts his bag up for everyone to see.
"Oh!!" everyone chants.
"This is something you can carry on the go to eat at anytime and anywhere. It's completely healthy"
He gets up from his chair walks over to Chan and hands him the bag in a bow as the members gave him a round of applause.
"An award ceremony." Han adds still clapping.
"Awn," Chan said, blushing. "Thank you Lee knaur." he says in perfect Australian accent.
As soon as Lee know delivered the bag, he runs away. Suspiciously.
"Open it." Felix suddenly says, smiling like he already knew what was in it.
