'Where am I?, This place.. feels familiar-' Felix snapped out of his thoughts and remembered that he was in his room from his previous life; his body was also changed to the old Satuoshi's body. He tried to open the gate in confusion, but something was pulling him, restraining him from opening the gate. He looked back and saw many black chains blocking him from moving, and he couldn't even take a step. Suddenly he fell into a deep void where he was free, but no one was there except the endless path. Some voices came to hear, it was the yelling of his father just few days before his death, Felix keep running to find someone or the source of this voice, didn't find anything but he clearly heard every single word of his father and when that voice was no longer perceived, the space starts cracking and he found himself at some snowy forest, after two-three blinks and when the blurriness disappear, Satuoshi saw the archer and the mage and just few meters away a girl on whose back head a arrow was shooted and some steps further a boy who was trampling in fear on the ground, a heavy wind came and instinctively Satoushi close his eyes and protect his head with his hands but it didn't sensate anything, when he opened his eyes he saw that he was in the same place but the people who were present their had vanished, at another second he heard someone's voice, it was coming from behind and the voice was just repeating Satoushi's name again and again, he look behind and saw someone lying at the snow and around him the snow has become crimson red in color, he can't see the person's face which was turned in left side but just by the his body and hair Satuoshi can tell who it was, that person was still mumbling Satuoshi's name in light but creepy voice, Satoushi walks toward that person and when he saw the face which was looking horrible and on the body which is stabbed by a knife, he saw his only friend Yamato's dead body which is continuously repeating his name, Satuoshi shake like a leaf and lose his balance and fall on the snow, Felix wake on his bed with a heavy gasping and sweating a ton, 'It was just a dream'.
Felix remembered that after hearing the news about the little girl's death, he went in his room to stay alone and calm his mind a bit, Bastro also notice that Felix was acting weird after hearing this so he also went in Felix's room to explain him that he has no fault in the girl's death but it didn't really help him, Felix has just admitted that the death of the girl was because of his incompetence to save her, he didn't even eat his dinner and simply sleep to relax his mind and now after this nightmare he is hearing 'Growl', he is quite hungry but luckily it is already early morning so in few hours he will get his breakfast.
Both Nellie and Bastro were happy that Felix is healthy now but they also notice that since yesterday he is not like himself, his cheerful questions and talking is missing. Bastro has already taken the guess of this situation but Nellie has no idea, so after breakfast when Felix again went into his room, Nellie asked Bastro "Honey do you know what happened to Felix?, does he not recover perfectly?" but she became more anxious just by thinking of Felix's health, "No, his health is perfectly fine, …I saw his expression yesterday, after hearing about that girl's death he went in his room and from that time his mood has become like now, I guess he is blaming himself for her death" Bastro answered calmly but from inside he was even more worried about his son's mental health. One week went like this in a gloomy and sullen atmosphere, Felix was not talking to anyone, just eating his meal regularly after which he stayed in his darkened room, his parents try to consult him about the matter but nothing came to surface regarding Felix's thoughts but Bastro concluded that Felix is just having a hard time because of his small age, it was just to relieve the anxiety of Nellie but deep down Bastro understood that what his son wants right now is not sweet talk and mental support, it is the desire to gain enough power to protect those who are around him and the power so that he didn't have to see someone else dying in front of him.
Bastro went in Felix room, it was evening time but his room was more shaded than the night sky, Felix was lying on the bed facing towards the wall, Bastro sit on the chair and was framing his thoughts for what to say, after a while when he didn't say anything Felix turn his head towards his father and asked "Why did you come?, is the dinner ready already?" his voice was shallow and the eyes were not looking to anyone, his eyes had just lost its focus, Bastro's mind shattered with this image of his son and can't tolerate this state of his beloved and only son "I know you are blaming yourself for loss of her life, …if you want to become strong so that this will never happen again, just look at me or you can sleep again". Felix's mind which was confined in a thousand thoughts from the last few days was smacked by a hammer, he looked at Bastro's face and he noticed that his always joyful but dignified father was no less from a stressful drunkard and it was just by thinking about Felix's health. "Now your eyes have a bit of focus in it," Bastro said in his old smirky but loud voice, "Wake up early in the morning from tomorrow, we will start your training!".
As Felix was told he went downstairs in early morning and saw that Bastro was waiting at the door, "Oh you really wake up early, I thought you will be scared by training and just hide under the bed, hahaha!" Bastro was teasing Felix but it didn't affect much, "Training for what?" Felix was already confused by his father's offer of making him strong but now this unknown training was even more confusing, "Uh.. yeah I didn't explain it yesterday, my bad" This grinning and loud tone of Bastro was annoying Felix but he control himself, "Well, you see, you are going to be six years old in few weeks and a normal kid start training himself with sword or magic at seven years, so I don't think it will harm if you start training from now, your magic tutor will come next year anyways and you also want to learn swordsmanship so I am going train you from now on!". Felix was cheerful about this training and went to the knight camp's ground because it was the safest ground in the village which is for knights to use but Bastro's friendship with Vomon gave him permission to use it.
"So where is the sword?" Felix asks in a cheerful way with his charming eyes but his face turns down with the reply "Huh? You really think I will give you a sword from the get-go, you will start running for next one week".
Felix starts running but after one hour "You are ridiculously slow!, do you wish to complete hundred rounds of this ground in years?!, speed up or no dinner until hundred rounds!", 'Ridiculous!!' Felix can just shout in his mind because all his energy was getting consumed in taking a few steps.
