Synopsis
I looked up with fear to see a king probably around his mid-seventies, with a grey beard and hair, as well as green eyes. He also had two servents with cyan hair and eyes, one with glasses, next to him. "Hello, otherworlders," the king said calmly, "Welcome to Eris."

Chapter 1 - Huh? Why Does She Get All The Fame?

Chapter 1: Huh? Why Does She Get All The Fame?

I walked into my class as usual, nothing shocking, just a casual Tuesday. I didn't mean anything here, since I was just an average, run-of-the-mill high school student.

It was kind of embarrassing, really. My adoptive father raised me alone since he found me as a baby in the goddamn dumpster. He really wanted me to live up to being an only-child.

And so, he named me Una, even though I'm a guy. Thanks, dad.

(Info: Una means one/only)

I'm Una White, I know, very weird name, but still, I guess you could say I'm proud of it.

As a headed to my classroom, I walked down the halls, most of the lockers dirty or having unusual graffiti on them.

As I was walking down, I noticed the popular girl, Emma Alpha, walking past to her class.

We live in polar-opposite worlds. She was a beauty; long white hair, pretty and warm blue eyes that made you feel at ease and were full of life, smart as a book, and got along with everyone, the whole package.

I don't know how she achieved it. I've spent the past seventeen years of my life in the backround, and somehow she's been popular since middle school? This world can be cruel sometimes.

The days blend together. I have a living father, and a greatful for that, but still, I want a little more, y'know?

That evening, I went into my locker room to look for my umbrella, as at was a rainy day. However, when I looked inside, there was no umbrella!

Alright, what the fuck? Did someone steal it? Please don't tell me someone stole it! Dad worked really hard for that!

Suddenly, I heard a soft voice from behind me.

"Hello."

I turned around to see Emma in all her beauty as usual, her long and pretty white hair catching my attention.

What, you're acting like it's weird I have a crush? I'm not a complete perv, y'know. I'm in a healthy habit.

I blushed a little before responding.

"Hey! What's up?"

Emma looked into my locker, her expression somewhat sympathetic.

"You lost your umbrella?"

I laughed nervously, scratching my head

"Yeah, I did."

She smiled.

"Well, I have an extra one. You can take mine!"

My eyes widened. The pretty girl actually talking to me? And helping me? This is the best day ever!

"S-Sure! I'll borrow it..."

Emma frowned a bit.

"Borrow? No, you get to keep it!"

My face turned actual tomato red. (Pathetic)

"Uhh... o-okay!"

We walked outside into the rain, the water soaking the umbrella. It was pouring, the rain so loud you could probably hear the water splashing on to the ground from indoors.

Emma smiles, trying to make conversation.

"So, I saw your dad with a woman either! Is he dating her?"

I laughed a little.

"Nah. He can't be dating her, since he's not attracted to women."

"Oh, I see."

Suddenly, an unknown flashing light trapped us in. Seemingly no one, outside or indoors, noticed it, but we did, oh hell, we did.

All I heard was Emma screaming "What's happening?," before everything went dark.

I woke up groggy, not rememberijg what happened, but then it all hit me; the umbrella borrowing, the light, the fact no one else noticed.

I saw Emma next to me, still unconscious, but the floor looked... strange, like something you'd see in a medical European palace.

I looked up with fear to see a king probably around his mid-seventies, with a grey beard and hair, as well as green eyes. He also had two maids beside him with cyan hair and eyes, one with glasses.

"Hello, otherworlders," the king said calmly, "Welcome to Eris."
