As Keaton walked past the Mayor his eyes changed again from the purple colour back to the blue eyes that everyone knew. This was noticeable by the Mayor instantly 'should I say something no I'll wait until tomorrow'. And so he did. Keaton walked fast, faster than normal it was like he was in rush. 'Will you tell me about the Flamo Claw now?' Keaton asked the voice.
"Yes I will." It replied, "The Flamo Claw isn't physically strong most of it's power comes from the flames on its claws which are over seven hundred thousand degrees."
'So that's why when some of the force that went through the shield didn't hurt,' He replied. 'Any way what do I call you'.
"That's completely up to you."
'Alright how about Vide?' Keaton asked. 'It's Spanish for Void'.
"Sure," Vide replied. "Anyway I should mention that you have leveled up level 2 and unlocked Void Step."
'Okay so how bo I use it' Keaton asked. He halted to a stop looking at the house next to him. "How am I at my house already?"
"Well you just used Void Step and I'm guessing it was by accident," Vide replied. "But I don't know how you activate it."
'What do you mean by', Keaton asked Vide. 'You should know'. Keaton walked up to his door. But all of a sudden he was inside. "Well I need to stop using it by accident." He walked to the kitchen to try and make food again cause he usually burnt it. 'Hay Vide what abilities do I currently have?'
"Do you want me to pull up your system's screen," Vide asked.
'Yes please,' Keaton replied 'i want to know everything I can about this system.'

"Wow," Keaton exclamed. "My endurance is my highest stat. But my power has a stat and it's the lowest?"
"Yes," Void told Keaton before he could ask why. "The Void Manipulation stat -"
"Can you speak like a human it's getting rather annoying you speaking like a robot," Keaton admitted.
"Sure," Vide replied. But Vide's voice was a lot different more like what you would expect a girl to sound like. "Like I was saying before you rudely interrupted. The void manipulation stat is based off your experience of using your powers."
"For some reason tho," Vide continued. "The lowest is 5 and not 1 maybe because the powers can be activated even if you are useless with them when no one tells you what to do."
'Hay,' he replied quickly. 'that's not nice now is it'
"Well it's the truth," Vide laughed at Keaton's reaction. "But you should probably focus on your cooking cause I can smell charcoal."
Keaton looked down at his cooking. It had burned yet again. "Well I guess it's back to the normal fruit and a trip to the local restaurant."
'Keaton,' Vide shouted in his head. 'One of your powers is Void food Summon all you need is to think of the food and it'll appear.'
'Okay, well I had only eaten 2 hours ago." Keaton replied, "Anyway were did the Flamo Claw come from cause it's not a beast that use to exist here.'
"Cause when at least one person gets powers the beast you all no of chang," Vide answered. "For example the Flamo Claw used to be a flame chicken. That applies to most Beast I should say."
Once Keaton heard the explanation he started walking up the stairs. "If that's so I can't just stay here!" He exclaimed, "I'm leaving and going to go around the world and stop places from being destroyed by things like that."
"If that's what you want then lets do it!" Vide shouted back. Keaton packed everything he needed to survive. His clothes, a tent which he had bought as a joke which now came in handy, and bottles of water about 30. "But before we go you have 2 quests to do." Vide revealed, "First quest: 20 push-up, 20 Squats, hold plank for 30 seconds."
"Alright that's not too hard," Keaton exhaled slowly with relief that it wasn't to much. So he did it. "Okay next quest," Keaton breathed heavily. "If that's not too hard I can get it done with easily."
"You are really over confident," Vide sighed. "Well you next quest you can't do yet because you need to beat one more of the creatures." Keaton flopped onto his bed when he heard that. 'Okay, do I get anything from the first quest?' Keaton thought.
"Yes," Vide replied. "You got, wait one minute I forgot. Here it is you got 3 stat points to can allocate. And I'm guessing you will want to increase strength as you can't increase Void Manipulation without using it."
'Okay well I'm not putting them in strength I'm putting them in-' Keaton started to say
'Please don't say speed and follow me and what I did' Vide thought
'Endurance,' Keaton finished unaware of what Vide just said. 'Cause if I run into a beast that can hit me, I need to be able to withstand the attack.'
"Smart choice so now your Endurance stat has increased to 19." Vide replied joy evident her voice, "from that you've unlocked a new skill from Endurance."
'What is it?' Keaton asked.
"Void protection, any attacks that are weaker than you," Vide said quickly. "Are consumed and destroyed. Also I forgot do you want to know how you beat the Flamo Claw without doing much."
'Sure'
"It was because of Void State one of your secret skills." Vide said, "It's a state were you just act without much thought and without emotion."
"Well no that's terrifying." Keaton said, "But we should start going." Keaton started walking towards the front door until he stopped. He looked out the window and thought 'Void Step'. Void quickly started to encase his body, covering every part of him. Then it snapped into nothing. He reappeared outside where he had been looking, the void no longer on his body. "So that's how it works!" Vide exclaimed, "you only need to look where you want to void step then think the words then it works." Keaton started to walk to the town hall, until the mayor appeared behind him. "I'm guessing your wanting to leave the town," the Mayor said. "If so just go I'll beal with the rest."
"Thanks," Keaton replied. "I'll be back one day."
"Before you go," the Mayor said stopping Keaton from walking away. "That place I'm guessing you also were sent there. It changed you somehow. Answer me this why did your eyes turn purple when you were fighting?"
"It's called the void state," Keaton replied. "I don't know much about it but it stops my feelings momenterally and allows me to what I did with less thinking needed."
"Well that explains enough for me," the Mayor smiled. "With that power you have and your intelligence you will become more than we could have imagined. See you next time."
"See you next time." Keaton left the town.
