Seeing the mood turn tense, the cold killing intent around Aiden finally faded a little.
He stood up, took one step through the void, and appeared in front of Cheryl in an instant.
Aiden reached out with his long, strong hand and gently rubbed Cheryl's long silver hair.
"Listen to your sister. Be good and stay in the Abyss."
Aiden's voice softened a little, but his tone still carried an authority that allowed no refusal.
"I'll deal with the trash on Earth myself. There's no need for you to dirty your hands."
Hearing Aiden comfort her, Cheryl sniffed, and much of the hurt in her eyes finally faded.
"I promise you, the next time I come to the Abyss, I'll take you to explore the forbidden zones in the deeper layers."
Aiden's promise finally made Cheryl smile through her tears. She nodded hard.
After comforting her younger sister, Rainn stepped forward. Her expression became serious again.
