Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 Our Nation

Building: Industrial Factory

Blueprint Unlock Price: 2500

Construction Price: 2500

Power Consumption: 200

Armor: Wood Armor

Durability: 1000

Description: All vehicle unit construction prices decrease by 25%, and all vehicle upgrade experience requirements decrease by 25%. Are you ready to mass-produce troops?

Cinder built the factory specifically for that 25% discount.

This meant that for every four tanks Cinder built, the factory would give him one for free.

It was a building specifically for mass troop production.

He checked his remaining funds.

Only 20831 funds remained.

Because the temporary base lacked power, Cinder built two more power plants.

Before building a nuclear power plant, he could only rely on the magnetic fusion reactor for now.

He then looked at the price of tanks.

The Rhino Tank's construction price dropped from 900 to 675, and the anti-air tracked vehicle's price dropped from 500 to 375.

Cinder didn't hesitate with these funds, directly purchasing 20 Rhino Tanks and 5 anti-air tracked vehicles.

A total of 15375 funds were spent.

He then used the remaining funds to purchase 51 good brothers.

At this point, Cinder's forces greatly increased.

Infantry: 144 people in total

130 Conscripts, 10 Allied GIs, 2 armed Soldiers, 1 Brute, 1 Spy, and 1 Engineer.

Vehicles: 35 tanks, 2 invader fighters, 2 transport nighthawk helicopters.

The tanks consisted of 5 Grizzly tanks, 5 Mirage tanks, 5 anti-air tracked vehicles, and 20 Rhino Tanks.

With this lineup, if they were to encounter the twenty One-Eyed Little Treasures from before.

Cinder guaranteed that he could take them down without sacrificing anyone.

But there are no 'ifs' in this world, and these rewards were also the result of his previous brave confrontation with the enemy.

After digesting the rewards, Cinder walked out of the headquarters building.

In the distance, the War Factory was building tanks.

Rhino Tanks drove out of the factory one by one.

In the sky, invader fighters flew at low altitude, and nighthawk helicopters conducted test flights near the base.

Along the way, the Soldiers excitedly watched their new comrades.

After about half an hour, all the tanks were built.

The helicopters and invader fighters were parked on the cleared open ground.

At this moment, all the Soldiers were gathered at the entrance of the headquarters, with sentry turrets protecting the base perimeter.

Cinder walked to the platform on the second floor of the headquarters, with Sophia behind him, holding a tray in both hands.

Standing in front of the railing, Cinder looked down; including the tank drivers and Pilots.

Unbeknownst to him, the base personnel had already reached 314 people.

They stood in neat formations, waiting for Cinder's orders in front of the base.

Looking into the distance again, those war chariots seemed to be guiding their direction.

Cinder took a deep breath, calming himself.

He shouted, "Soldiers! In the battle five days ago, your performance was perfect. Thanks to your brave actions, we achieved an unprecedented victory. It was your fearlessness and the united Red Spirit that won this battle. But—"

Cinder deliberately paused, his tone sorrowful: "At the same time, we also lost 32 brave warriors and 5 loyal Police Dogs."

"I was once lost, constantly asking myself if these sacrifices were truly worth it. What exactly are we fighting for? Now I finally have the answer."

Cinder's voice was impassioned: "We fight for victory, we fight for survival, we fight for our home!"

"They say a warrior's destiny is to die on the battlefield, but if you ask me, that's all nonsense! A warrior's destiny should be to return home in glory! It should be to enjoy the life you defended with your lives!"

"Every one of your lives is priceless, every one of your rights is sacred and inviolable, you are born with the right to live."

"But unfortunately, the indigenous people of this continent do not seem to welcome us. They want to force us back into the cracks of time and space, to make us drift in time and space again. Soldiers, tell me, do you want to go back!? Do you want to return to that dark place?"

"No!" everyone shouted in unison.

"Very good! Soldiers, I hear your wishes, and I, too, do not want to see you return to the cracks of time and space. For this, I hereby officially establish our nation."

Behind Cinder, Sophia unveiled the black cloth.

A red cloth was folded on the tray.

Cinder turned around, grabbed one side of the red flag, and pulled it sharply.

"This will be the only flag of our 'Red Alert Democratic Republic'!"

At this moment, a gust of wind happened to blow through the canyon, and the vibrant red flag finally fluttered over the land of Mondstadt.

"I, Cinder, the supreme Commander of the Red Alert base, hereby swear that we will never be aggressors. We will never launch wars of aggression against any nation. Our only goal is to establish our nation on this continent, a nation that belongs only to you."

"For this, anyone who wishes to eliminate us will be considered our enemy. We will repay our enemies with iron and blood!"

"I will let our crimson flag fly over the land."

"For The Republic!"

A brand new slogan was shouted, and the crowd below roared in unison.

"For The Republic!"

Thus, a nation belonging only to Cinder and his Soldiers was born.

Whether it would be recognized by other nations in the future, whether it would be recognized by the Seven Archons, or even Celestia, remained to be seen.

This would also be Cinder's goal to strive for in the future.

In the office, Sophia seemed a bit off.

She kept looking at Cinder, opening her mouth as if to say something, but ultimately remaining silent.

Cinder looked at her, asking in confusion, "Second Lieutenant, what's wrong? Was there a problem with my speech just now?"

"Reporting, Commander, no!"

"That's good. It's my first time giving a nation-founding speech, so I really don't know how I did."

"Please rest assured, Commander. I have already conducted a poll, and the Soldiers are very satisfied with your speech. They have already developed a sense of belonging to our country."

"Haha." Cinder laughed happily, saying, "Establishing a country is simple. I can establish a nation with just myself in my room. The key is whether it can be recognized by other countries, and whether it can be recognized by the Seven Archons, or even Celestia."

Sophia was silent.

She naturally understood this matter.

Founding a nation is easy; being recognized is hard.

After some thought, Cinder said, "Second Lieutenant, please draft an invitation letter now, inviting the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius of Mondstadt City to visit our base in ten days. Use the name of our The Republic."

"Yes."

"Also, make preparations. Tomorrow morning at 8 AM, the two of us will depart for Mondstadt City."

"To Mondstadt City? Do we need to bring armored forces?"

"No, no, no. We're not going to declare war. Don't scare anyone. This trip to Mondstadt City is to meet a deity. We'll go discreetly."

"Understood. I'll go prepare now."
