One thing about César was that because of Group Four, he knew how to use any kind of weapon to his advantage. Whether it was a knife, a fork, or a pen, he could kill with it if he decided to… and now, he held a knife in his hand, that Damascus blade he had gotten for the woman back in the hotel, though he did not act with it.
The first rule if you want to kill somebody is to not announce that you have a knife in your hand, because they can act against you, especially when the man behind you is a trained agent. So as soon as César said it, the agent stepped back and aimed at his head, finger on the trigger, ready to shoot.
It was almost like a Wild West standoff, César and Sirina staring at each other, knowing that if he acted, somebody would die and the worst part about it was that Sirina knew there was a chance she would be the one to die.
