The Empty Space.
Pearl stood in the silence of her apartment, the only sound, the echo of her own breathing.Before her parents left, they took her out to buy a teddy bear which is a sign of relief to her, they later left and there's no sign of their returns, after they left for three days, leaving behind a note and a hollow ache.
She was 18, old enough to fathom the concept of abandonment but not old enough to grasp why.she took care of her teddy bear which is a little bit of relief to her after they left, she wash it and cleans it, school is also like hell to her some time,if her parents refuse to pay her fee.
The walls, once adorned with family photos, now seemed to mock her.The kitchen, where laughter and arguments had filled the air, was cold and sterile.Pearl felt like a ghost haunting the remnants of a life that was never really hers.
She wandered to her room, the only place that still held a semblance of comfort.she placed the teddy bear on her bed,a relic from a childhood long past for her, screamed and held the bear,then nodded in despair for her callous parents that left her since three days and never sent a letter,nor they remember her since they left,nor they sent some stuff to her.Pearl child held the bear with tears streaming down her face and she sat on her bed.
