Chapter 4 - meeting again after separation

The next evening, Alexandre arrived at the Italian restaurant, looking sharp in his dark jeans and a crisp white shirt. He spotted Maria across the room, looking stunning in a red dress, and his heart skipped a beat.

As he made his way over to her, he couldn't help but think that this could be the start of something special.

Want to see where things go from here?Alexandre made his way over to Maria, his eyes locked on hers. As he approached, she smiled, and he felt a jolt of electricity. He leaned in, his lips brushing against her cheek, and whispered, "You look stunning."

Maria blushed, her eyes sparkling with pleasure. "Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself," she said, her voice husky.

The hostess led them to their table, and as they sat down, Alexandre couldn't help but notice the way Maria's eyes lit up as she looked around the restaurant. He ordered a bottle of wine, and as they perused the menu, their legs brushed against each other under the table.

The conversation flowed easily, and before long, they were laughing and joking like old friends. As they ordered their food, Alexandre reached out and gently touched Maria's hand, his fingers sending shivers down her spine.

As the meal arrived, they dug in, savoring the flavors and each other's company. The atmosphere was electric, and Alexandre knew he was falling for Maria in a big way.

As they finished their meal and the plates were cleared, Alexandre leaned in, his voice low. "Want to get out of here?" he whispered, his eyes locked on hers.

Maria's heart skipped a beat. She knew exactly what he was suggesting, and she was tempted. Very tempted.

Maria's eyes dropped, and she looked away, her smile fading. "Alexandre, I...I think I need some time, okay?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Alexandre's face fell, confusion etched on his features. "Time? What do you mean? Did I do something wrong?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Maria shook her head, feeling a pang of guilt. "No, it's not you, I just...I ."

Alexandre's face fell, but he nodded, trying to be understanding. "Okay, I get it. You'll be busy. But...can I at least call you? Check in on you?" he asked, his eyes pleading.

Maria hesitated, unsure of what to say. She didn't want to lead him on, but a part of her wanted to keep him in her life. "I...I don't know, Alexandre. I just need some space, okay?" she said, her voice firm but gentle.

Alexandre nodded, his eyes clouding over. "Okay, I understand. I'll be thinking of you," he said, his voice low and sincere.

Maria smiled, feeling a pang of regret. "Thanks, Alexandre. Take care, okay?" she said, before quickly gathering her things and leaving the restaurant, leaving Alexandre sitting alone at the table, wondering what had just happened.

The days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months. Maria was gone, and Alexandre was left with nothing but memories of their time together. He threw himself into his own training, determined to become the best, but a part of him was missing. The national competitions was rapidly approaching and he needs to focus...

So, on the day of the national competition, Alexandre is competing, and he's determined to give it his all. He's thinking about Maria, wondering if she'll show up. He's decided that if she doesn't show, he'll move on. If she does, he'll chase after her, unapologetically.

The competition is intense, and Alexandre wins. As he's basking in the glory, surrounded by cheering crowds, he scans the faces...but doesn't see Maria . He decides right then to move on, to not look for her again.

Meanwhile, Maria is at her favorite cafe, surrounded by friends who discourage her from pursuing Alexandre. "You're a nerd, Maria," they say. "You don't deserve a fine boy like Alexandre." Maria decides to lock up her feelings and focus on her job instead.

Alexandre moves on with his life, throwing himself into training and competitions. Maria stays at her cafe, pouring her heart into her work. No dramatic reunions, no second chances. Just two people moving on with their lives.

Alex couldn't forget about her but he was angry that she didn't show up at the national competition. He couldn't figure out her feelings and her sudden exit, so he decided to hang out with his friends. They decided to have a party and invited some ladies. They were at a bar, and Maria - was a waitress there. She got the job as her second part-time job to be able to immerse herself in work while she was on holiday.

Maria happened to be the waitress who was going to serve them that day, and so she brought the wines to the table. She saw Alex and was shocked. She was terrified and happy at the same time - happy she could see her love, terrified that he was mad at her and wouldn't talk to her anymore. And it was true - when Alex saw her, although he was happy, he was annoyed about what she had done to him, and he decided to ignore her.

When the lady beside Alex saw this, she decided to add more flames

"hello, please could you serve us some wine?" Maria nodded and approached them, but the lady put her leg on the floor to trip Maria. Maria, unaware, was walking to them and she tripped and splashed the wine on Alex. Alex was furious and she was scared. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to take a napkin to clean him up, but he slapped her hand away and stood up and went to the bathroom.

While the friends around Alex, with the lady beside him, accused her of being clumsy and demanded to see her manager, Alex - unaware of the chaos - cleaned himself and walked out and saw the girl begging, crying pathetically. And he was angry. Forgetting about what she'd done to him, he demanded

"what is happening here?. Why is she lying down?" The friends said that they were trying to fire her, that she was clumsy. Alex shouted at them, called them out. "She didn't break me, she didn't hurt me. i have the right to do what i want with her, not you all." Then he took her hand and took her out of the club
