Chapter 1 - wishing of a false reality.

The light sprinkle turned into a medium rain as the shower head slowly coated the bath tub floor.

"Damn" he said as he stuck his hand in the water.

Too cold

His handmoved to the knob turning it to the right.

After a few seconds a light steam rose from the water.

He touched again, lightly he slid his hand into the water

'A little to warm' he thought

Truth be told most of the time in the shower he ussaly has a song playing.

But today he hadnt charged it the night before.

He slowly peeled the lightly stained clothes from his body and stepped into the shower.

The coldness from the tile floor on his feet was washed away from the warm embrace of the water.

He lightly scrubbed away with delight as the exaughstion melted away.

He scubbed hqrder at some areas and closed his eyes as he let the sound of the water cqlmed him.

A minute later he reached for the shampoo marked by the logo "humming bird"

"Ha what a stupid name" he chucled lightly.

He lightly squeezed causing the soap to sputter and pop because of the bear nothing in the container.

After getting enough out he ran his soapy fingers through his hair.

Massageing his scalp he sifted through his hair, the water washing away the soap.

He oppend his eyes, his slicked hai pulled back as he shut off the shower and pushed in the tab letting the excess water drain.

With a soft gurgle the water sloshed out and he grabbed a towel from the rack.

Drying his hair he put on his boxer, then he sweatpants and then just a plain baggy shirt.

He oppend the door with old clothes in hand and stepped into the hallway.

He stared

He stared hard

The light of the moon tricling into the hall illuminated somthing

He paled blood rushing heart pounding as he gazed at somthing

Not human nor animal he was frozen with terror as he first made out the feature of the figure.

Long mismatched and white teeth jigsawed its face, its lips pulled back into a permant smile as the face slowly came into view the eyes

It crept closer

It hunched, like an ape the front arms thick and bulkly had pressed its fingers into the short carpet leaving behind a shallow indebt.

It crept closer

He saw it it in a better light no a new light. The skin once red turned out to be because the absence of skin and light drops of red sprinkled as it stalked moving with abnormal quietness.

Before he knew it, the creature had already cleared half the hall.

He once again looked at the face to much in terror to move, wasnt able to recoil as the empty sockets leaked thick blood.

With out breathing he silenty retracted his foot from the hall and imeaditly turned around as he entered the bathroom again.

He slowly closed the bathroom door the wooden frame unsettleing as he ever so slightly untwisted the knob.

He sunk to a crouch as he was careful not to draw noise.

He twisted the lock slow

Click

A light click that was all

But he felt it on the other side.

He didnt feel good

Slow breaths

In

Out

He sat in position bringing his knees to his chest.

Hands over head.

Wishing of a false reality.
