Chapter 471 - Chapter 471: The Outcome is Decided

Chapter 471: The Outcome is Decided

The Ancient One was now filled with curiosity regarding Silas. Was this man perhaps a disciple she had taken in another world?

"The magic? The 'you' from that world taught it to me. It's actually quite handy," Silas replied with a light chuckle.

The Ancient One shook her head wordlessly. Even now, Silas couldn't resist showing off a little. But she wondered why her other self had taught him magic; his innate abilities were already formidable enough.

Based on his performance, he possessed an indestructible body, an immortal soul, incredibly powerful telekinesis, and eyes capable of firing laser-like currents. Even without considering his hidden talents, these alone were enough for him to dominate any region.

"Shall we continue?" Silas cracked his neck, feeling a surge of excitement. Since gathering all twelve talismans, he hadn't had a chance to truly cut loose.

"Of course!" The Ancient One wouldn't back down. As she spoke, the Mirror Dimension—which had briefly stabilized—began to warp and fold again.

Silas wasn't about to sit and wait. He simply levitated, remaining unaffected by the shifting gravity of the room.

"I'm going to get serious now, Sorcerer Supreme." The aura around Silas began to surge, causing the Mirror Dimension to tremble violently.

"Your power... it comes from another dimension," the Ancient One realized instantly. This wasn't energy native to their universe. Even if Silas was from another world, this power felt alien to that reality as well.

"Get ready!" Silas's eyes glowed with an eerie red light. He looked like an otherworldly demon, his eyes filled with a gaze that looked down upon all creation.

The Ancient One felt a massive weight of pressure. The habitual smile vanished from her lips, replaced by a look of grim focus.

Rumble!

The world shook. Within the Mirror Dimension, countless massive mountains rose and began to collapse toward the Ancient One.

She didn't dare lower her guard. She chose to draw upon the power of the Dark Dimension, feeling the surge of raw energy fill her body. A shockwave rippled outward from her, shattering the approaching peaks.

"Interesting," Silas smiled. That was only the power of Po Kong and Dai Gui. Since she was playing for keeps, he would increase his output as well.

"Po Kong! Dai Gui!" Silas snapped his fingers. Two gargantuan figures manifested among the mountains.

"ROAR!" A mountain of green skin and yellow rock appeared—Po Kong. She stood a hundred meters tall, though this wasn't even her final form. Given enough to eat, she could grow until she devoured planets.

"Demons!" The Ancient One was shocked that Silas could summon such entities. She instantly blinked to Po Kong's shoulder via a portal, moving with blinding speed across the demon's massive frame.

Infuriated by the "ant" scurrying across her, Po Kong caused jagged rocks to erupt from her skin, attempting to crush the sorcerer. The Ancient One remained calm, her robes fluttering as she cast a protective dome that deflected the stones. She then opened several magical arrays, firing brilliant beams of light that pulverized every obstacle in her path.

"Time to end this!" The Ancient One swung her right hand, manifesting a blade made of shimmering mirror-glass. She intended to finish Po Kong.

Boom!

Suddenly, the ground erupted. Dai Gui burst from the earth, his curved horns slamming into the Ancient One's shield.

Crack!

The shield shattered, sending the Ancient One flying into a rock wall, kicking up a massive cloud of dust.

"Huff..." She performed a kip-up to get back on her feet. Her body ached; unlike the monsters she was fighting, her physical form wasn't indestructible.

"Had enough, Ancient One?" Silas asked, sitting calmly on a floating boulder.

"These powers are indeed great, but they aren't enough!" She closed her eyes. Her yellow robes glowed with a blinding light, and every mountain in the Mirror Dimension began to vibrate.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Five massive stone statues, each the size of Po Kong, rose from the earth. They bore a striking resemblance to the Ancient One herself. As she opened her eyes, the statues' eyes glowed with yellow divine light.

She spread her arms, and the statues mirrored her every move. Silas recognized the spell, but he didn't stop her. He wanted to see if she could break the defense of his demons.

The Ancient One levitated higher and thrust her palms toward the demons below.

CRASH! CRASH!

The statues surrounding Po Kong slammed their palms down simultaneously, like the legendary "Buddha's Palm" from myth, blotting out the sky.

"ROAR!" Dai Gui snarled and leaped toward the Ancient One, grabbing a massive boulder to hurl at her. But before he could reach her, a magical rope snared him from the horizon. Silas looked back and saw an astral projection of the Ancient One holding the line.

The five statues eventually overwhelmed Po Kong and Dai Gui, forcing them to dissolve back into pure mana and return to Silas's body.

Rumble—

The mountains, no longer supported by demon magic, collapsed, raining debris down on Kamar-Taj. Fortunately, this was the Mirror Dimension, or the other sorcerers would have been in serious trouble.

"Huff... ha..." The Ancient One stood on a floating shard, exhausted, looking at the man who still seemed perfectly refreshed.

Silas stretched lazily. "Finished? I have six more demons just like those."

"Six?" The Ancient One couldn't believe his stamina. Even after drawing from the Dark Dimension, she was tired, while he acted as if he'd barely warmed up.

"Here I come!" This time, Silas didn't summon demons. Summoning them meant his personal demon chi temporarily left him, though he regained it once they were recalled.

He made no flashy movements. He simply raised a fist and flew toward her. The Ancient One gritted her teeth and summoned her thickest circular shield.

"You couldn't stop Dai Gui's fist, much less mine!" Silas grinned. The power of the Ox Talisman erupted, the spiritual image of a bull coiling around his arm.

Bang! CRACK!

The shield shattered like glass. His fist stopped mere millimeters from her eyes, the sheer friction of the air singeing her eyelashes.

"You lose," Silas said, pulling back. He had no intention of killing her; the world still needed the Sorcerer Supreme to keep the Dark Dimension at bay.

"You are very strong, Silas." She didn't offer any excuses, accepting the defeat gracefully. At her age, she wasn't one to be a sore loser.

Flash!

The world inverted again. They were back in the tea room. The tea on the table was still steaming.

"Don't worry, I won't interfere with your duties," Silas said, finishing his tea in one gulp before vanishing into the Shadow Kingdom.

The Ancient One could no longer sense his presence. She sighed. The world was about to undergo changes she couldn't have predicted. Well, it looks like I won't be around for most of it. I'll leave the headache to Stephen.

The Shadow Kingdom

Silas summoned the Shadow Guard and realized that every parallel world had its own Shadow Ninjas. He had assumed he could summon "Little Black" and the others from his original world, but it seemed he would have to start fresh here.

"Based on the timeline, the main plot hasn't started yet..." Silas rubbed his chin. He was going to get those Infinity Stones.

Original Marvel Universe

"Argh!" Professor Hulk cried out as he donned the Nano-Gauntlet. The raw power of the Infinity Stones surged through him, nearly tearing him apart.

Everyone held their breath, their eyes locked on him. The fate of the universe rested on this moment. Hulk forced his breathing to slow, thinking of all the friends they had lost. Come back. Everyone come back.
