Chapter 176 - Chapter 176 Bandits Fighting Bandits

"If you don't mind, I'll take it." Zhong Mu smiled and quickly packed up the necessary supplies while the player looked on with a helpless expression.

Just as things were getting settled, the person tied to the tree suddenly tensed up, staring intently at a certain spot behind Zhong Mu.

Zhong Mu quickly hid the storage item, turned around, and saw Yin Xiu.

"Brother Xiu! You're here! I just prepared some supplies for us!" He waved excitedly to Yin Xiu and strode over.

The man tied to the tree tensed up when he saw a new man appear with a knife. After all, someone who came up with a knife was obviously not a good guy. What if he was also there to steal supplies, and killed the people in front of him while he was at it?

Seeing Zhong Mu greet him as he walked away, he immediately felt relieved, knowing that his life, which he had traded for supplies, was safe.

Yin Xiu didn't even glance at the person by the tree, but instead whispered to Zhong Mu, "Next time, don't take out your storage items in front of others. If they get stolen, you'll lose all your supplies at once."

This is considered a beginner dungeon. Most newbies don't have any items. If someone has a lot of supplies hidden on them, it will attract a lot of envy. Even if they don't steal it, they will try to steal it.

"Okay, okay." Zhong Mu quickly put on a serious face and solemnly moved the prop to a different location to hide it.

Yin Xiu reminded him that most newcomers don't have any items at all. Let alone weapons, they're lucky if they have even one basic survival item. He's been taken care of too much in the town.

With Yin Xiu by his side, Zhong Mu no longer needed to be so wary of the attacker. Under Yin Xiu's gaze, he stepped forward and untied the man's ropes, then raised his head and said, "Take your remaining supplies and leave. If you dare to rob me again, I won't be so lenient!"

The person who was untied immediately nodded, grabbed his remaining supplies, and hurriedly left.

"Brother Xiu, did you hear about the seventh rule that's been added to this instance?" After the man left, Zhong Mu carefully took out the rules he had written down in advance from his pocket. These rules were copied from the town; they were from an older version that only had six rules.

The extra seventh rule seems a bit redundant, since the rules don't mention it. As long as the completion condition is to survive for seven days, players can leave, and players will try their best to survive for seven days. However, rule seven specifically reminds players that if you survive for seven days, you will be the most qualified prey in the hunting ground.

Some things are hard to understand.

"Just survive until the seventh day, don't think too much about it." Yin Xiu turned around calmly. He wasn't worried at all when he learned that this instance could kill hunters and other players. The hunting ground where life and death were at stake, with enemies everywhere he looked, was perfect for him.

"Okay, let me take a look at the guide. I remember there are special signs for the underground passages where you can hide after dark. Our town has this guide, so we can go directly to find them. It's safe after dark." Zhong Mu flipped through the guide while checking the surrounding environment.

But Yin Xiu shook his head and gestured with his chin in a certain direction. "No, after dark, we won't go underground. We'll stay up here and wait for the hunters to appear. I plan to go check that direction first."

Zhong Mu's hand holding the strategy guide trembled. Was this how easily the pro cleared dungeons?

"So... so we just stay up there and wait for the other side?" He swallowed nervously, then, as if preparing himself mentally, he rolled up the strategy guide and stuffed it into his pocket, mustering his courage, "Okay! We won't go underground!"

Yin Xiu nodded, very satisfied with Zhong Mu's courage.

The strange items are definitely something the strange creatures know more about. If this dungeon continues with the survival and hiding route, they will never know where the items are. So they have to be aggressive and take the initiative to find those so-called hunters.

"Let's go check that direction first. I heard the sound of waves when I came here, so it should be close to the sea. I'll go see if there are any cruise ships." Yin Xiu's goal was clear after hearing the rules.

Since the ultimate goal of the dungeon is survival, then under the premise of survival, he must search the entire island and go wherever he is not allowed to go.

A cruise ship that has its rules written on it must be a special place.

"Alright!" Zhong Mu said aggressively. It was so comfortable to go through the dungeon with a big shot. Even the goal was clear from the start.

"Take your weapon and be prepared to be ambushed at any time," Yin Xiu instructed softly, silently pressing down on his knife before stepping in the intended direction.

After taking a couple of steps, he suddenly remembered something.

I've been in the dungeon for a while now, why hasn't Li Mo come to find me yet? Is he taking this long again?

He glanced around, knowing that he would come was enough; he wasn't too worried about being late.

The two of them began to venture into the dense forest together.

After walking for a while, Yin Xiu gradually understood why the island was called a hunting ground. Many dangers were hidden among the dense weeds, including but not limited to huge animal traps, thorny pits, and nets. He could notice the traps in the grass every now and then.

They really did seem like prey thrown into a hunting area.

"Help! Help me!" After taking two more steps, a low cry for help came from the shade of the trees, filled with danger amidst the overgrown weeds.

Zhong Mu, who was following behind, poked his head out and asked, "Have we encountered the injured so quickly?"

They were well aware that players would fight each other for things, but they didn't expect it to happen so quickly, and the sound was right in front of them.

"Never mind, let's go." Yin Xiu replied lazily, and Zhong Mu nodded and followed behind.

Stepping over the dense weeds that reached their calves, they finally saw the person who had just called for help. The person was curled up in the grass, his leg caught in a trap, bleeding profusely, staring in terror at Yin Xiu and Zhong Mu as they approached. Beside him was a very tempting bag, clearly containing supplies.

Their eyes met, and the player stared at him in fear, afraid that they would come and steal it, but Yin Xiu simply walked past him expressionlessly, which made the other party pause in surprise.

Just when he thought the two of them were about to leave, Zhong Mu stopped in front of him.

"I'll help you break the bear trap, and then you can give me half of your supplies, how about that?" he proposed very amiably.

The other party was stunned, somewhat unable to react. Not only did they want to save him, but they would only take half the reward? Really?

Seeing his silence, Zhong Mu assumed he was unwilling, so she immediately stood up and clapped her hands casually, "If you don't want to, then forget it. Just stay here and wait for the hunters to appear after dark, and die with your supplies."

The other person immediately grabbed him, "Okay! I'll switch with you! I'll switch!"

Zhong Mu then turned around with a smile, "Brother Xiu, wait for me a moment, I'm going to stock up on some supplies."

He shouted for Yin Xiu, who had walked away, and squatted down to help the player break open the bear trap.

Yin Xiu stood there without moving, glanced back at Zhong Mu and the players, then squinted at his surroundings. He seemed to have just seen some figures hiding nearby.

Was it by chance that they were attracted by this person's cries for help, or...?

What about some small collaborative methods?

If it's the latter, then they've chosen the wrong target.
