Chapter 187 - Chapter 187 In conclusion, it shows that his knife is still the best.

After tidying up his equipment, Yin Xiu left the guest room.

As soon as it got dark, most of the hunters rushed off the boat to the island, but Yin Xiu followed slowly behind. After walking a few steps onto the island, he saw that tall figure standing there waiting for him.

"Good evening," Yin Xiu greeted casually, then, with his sword slung over his shoulder, he walked across the island.

A tall figure followed him unseen, eyes beneath the mask fixed on him. "Want to come with me for a hunt?"

"You're really not afraid of death?" Yin Xiu replied lazily, he had never seen anyone so proactive.

"I have no interest in eliminating weak opponents; I prefer my own kind, especially someone like you who looks like you're stained with blood." The other person smiled as they followed behind Yin Xiu. "I love seeing the look of defiance and pain in someone's eyes, and I think you can satisfy that."

The idea of finding an equally matched prey is a lie; the real purpose is to find a strong prey to satisfy its killing instincts.

With the other party's intentions so obvious, Yin Xiu had no intention of backing down. He wanted to see how many heads this hunter with such a strong lust for killing could have in his hands.

The two figures silently moved away from the other hunters and headed to a secluded part of the island. Yin Xiu looked around through his mask and, after confirming that he did not see any hunters or players nearby, he stopped with peace of mind.

"Are you going to stay here?" the hunter behind him asked, silently drawing a weapon from under his cloak.

"Hmm." Yin Xiu responded lazily. Just as he turned around, a huge roar suddenly rang out. The tall figure, wielding a high-speed spinning chainsaw, rushed over. Sparks flew from the frantic saw teeth, and the smell of burning electricity, along with a dangerous aura, crashed into Yin Xiu.

Yin Xiu quickly drew his knife, rolled behind a tree, and heard the violently vibrating saw teeth strike the tree, cutting a huge gash. If it were a person, they would have been disemboweled long ago.

"So eager?" Yin Xiu didn't expect it to pull the saw and rush over without even saying hello; it was rather impolite.

Amidst the deafening roar, laughter came from beneath the other person's mask. "You're the first hunter to dodge my saw. You're quick on your feet."

Yin Xiu silently stood up and gripped the knife. The long, slender blade seemed somewhat powerless against the violently spinning, dangerously sharp serrations, but Yin Xiu stared at the other party nonchalantly, brandished the blade, and said thoughtfully, "This is the first time I've encountered a weapon like this."

Then he looked down and stroked the back of the knife. "I think you should be fine."

Under the moonlight, the Miao sword gleamed coldly and swayed slightly.

After a moment of silence, the two figures suddenly rushed towards each other. The high-speed spinning serrated blades slashed down instantly, colliding with Yin Xiu's blade. Sparks flew, and the entire blade trembled and shrieked as the serrated blades spun.

Yin Xiu braced his hands against the knife, his expression unchanged as he withstood the force of the attack. The two were locked in a fierce struggle; either Yin Xiu would lose his strength and be torn to pieces by the chainsaw, or he would overcome the chainsaw and dismember the other man.

Amidst the violent collisions, the sound of the chainsaw grew louder, and the other party became excited, attempting to increase the force to suppress Yin Xiu, cut his knife in half, or even slice him open.

Yin Xiu stared silently at the sparks that flew off the blade as it struck him. After thinking it over, he suddenly exerted his strength and instantly pulled the blade back to the side.

The immense pressure caused the hunter wielding the chainsaw to lurch forward. He turned around in astonishment and saw Yin Xiu calmly stroking the knife in his hand.

The gleaming blade, shimmering with a cold light, swung back towards his own head.

How could a knife not only not break under the cutting of a chainsaw, but not even have a single mark on the blade?

It couldn't understand, and it didn't have a chance to understand again the moment the knife came down.

The chainsaw that had fallen to the ground whirred and roared, the smell of burning filled the air, and the hunter's head rolled to one side.

Yin Xiu calmly wiped the knife with his cloak, staring at the chainsaw on the ground as it gradually came to a stop.

This chainsaw is noisy, inconvenient to move, smells bad, is not easy to carry and use, and doesn't seem to be very lethal. It only looks intimidating.

In conclusion, his knife is still the best.

And he tried it out, and sure enough, the knife was better than the chainsaw.

After killing the hunter, he heard the voice again, the one that could only be heard when wearing a mask.

"Congratulations on acquiring the opponent's kill count, 28. Your current total is 35."

Yin Xiu counted on his fingers: he had killed four players who attacked him when he first entered the instance, and two more when the hunter came to the island at night. Now he had 28 kills from that hunter...

"You count as one too." Yin Xiu glanced at the hunter on the ground, and after a muttered calculation, realized that it was about right.

If he already has 35, then if the other hunters on the island also have good results, wouldn't he be able to reach 100 in just two more nights?

Yin Xiu frowned, feeling that he needed to speed things up and work harder.

He straightened his mask, ignored the hunter's corpse on the ground, and prepared to turn and leave.

Just as he lifted his foot, a strange voice suddenly came from behind him, "So hunters kill each other too?"

Yin Xiu was taken aback. He turned his head but didn't see anyone. When he looked up again, he saw a figure lying in the tree. The figure had probably been there for a while and was watching the infighting below with great interest.

They are players who hide at night.

Yin Xiu never expected that there would be someone hiding in the trees in such a remote place. The problem was that not only did they hide in the trees, but they also had the audacity to provoke Yin Xiu, who was now dressed as a hunter. It seemed that they were not ordinary players.

Yin Xiu didn't want to reveal his current player identity, so he ignored the person and turned to leave.

The person in the tree behind him hurriedly jumped down, "Aren't you a hunter? Why aren't you killing me?"

The other person even came down on their own? They're obviously a troublemaker.

Yin Xiu sheathed his sword and quickly ran into the night, leaving without looking back.

I'm busy killing other hunters, I don't have time.

But after running two steps, he faintly heard players chasing him from behind. They weren't just chasing him, a hunter, but were also shouting, "Don't run! I'm a player, why are you running! Aren't you going to kill me?"

"I still want to know some information about the hunters from you! Don't go!"

"If you're not going to kill me, does that mean you can't? Why?"

Yin Xiu grew impatient with the people who kept saying they had followed him all the way.

His running steps suddenly stopped, and he turned around to intercept the player. He had just stopped when he caught sight of a hunter's figure suddenly leaping out of the bushes to the side and rushing towards the player.

Yin Xiu gripped the knife, but before he could even move forward, he clearly saw the hunter's figure instantly transform into a small wooden doll and fall to the ground without a scratch or blood, without even making a sound.

Yin Xiu frowned. This was the effect of a high-level item. The person on the other side was very likely a player from a high-level dungeon.

He stood still, waiting for the player to pick up the little wooden figure from the ground before slowly strolling over.

Beneath the mask, Yin Xiu clearly saw the player's appearance and was astonished.
