Chapter 196 - Chapter 196 God of Slaughter and Villains

Zhong Mu watched everyone from the side and then glanced at the comments. In the end, he was just clumsily imitating Ye Laoda's behavior. As a newbie, he didn't have a clear understanding of Ye Laoda's behavior and choices in the dungeon. Only the old veterans in the town who had been with him for a long time understood, and he had to listen to their instructions.

"In a moment, find someone smart and have them sort out the supplies. Then you go out into the crowd and select people based on their personalities and abilities. Divide them into the following teams: those who go out to gather information, those who can fight, those who can heal, those who can allocate supplies reasonably, and those who are optimistic and cheerful and can counsel others."

"Yes, that's how Boss Ye used to divide things up. Those who went out to gather information were also responsible for distributing propaganda. They were all good at talking and chatting, and these kinds of people needed to be surrounded by a few who could fight and protect themselves."

"The logistics team will allocate supplies and provide emergency assistance, and will also offer appropriate counseling to those who are under stress due to the environment, in order to keep the entire team running."

"Of course, the most important thing is that you yourself must have prestige. You must maintain your identity as Brother Xiu so that everyone can trust you and believe that you can protect them. This is the most important thing."

"Keep it up, young man! I believe in your acting skills! You're one of only two people in our town who've ever had close contact with Brother Xiu!"

"That's right, even if you encounter a very strong person, you must not lose your spirit! You have two monsters left behind by Brother Xiu to back you up!"

Encouraged by the comments, Zhong Mu gained confidence! It was the first time he had carried the trust of so many people, but he didn't have the strength to lead them out like Boss Ye or Brother Xiu. The pressure was immense, as so many people's hopes rested on his shoulders.

But the thought that Brother Xiu was also in this instance made him feel much more at ease.

He would try his best, just as these people trusted him, he also believed in Brother Xiu, and he was determined to get the item, even if the town of 114 was in the way, he couldn't let them take it away.

All morning, Zhong Mu followed the instructions from the town's players to sort out player groups.

The low-level dungeons were mostly filled with newcomers, and there weren't as many skilled players as in the high-level dungeons. However, with the help of the chat, Zhong Mu still managed to select some useful and capable individuals.

The players in the town are the best at picking out promising talents. They can tell whether someone is worthwhile just by chatting with them, and after some arrangement, they can barely put together a decent team.

Weapons and food were distributed to those who went out to scout, and those in the camp were instructed to find suitable locations to set up camp, where they could hide underground and observe the surrounding environment to see if there were any attacks from unknown people.

It took a whole day to build up this organization, which consisted almost entirely of newcomers. As everyone communicated and built trust with each other, they gradually lowered their guard.

The situation here is settled, but the 114 town is almost entirely populated by elderly people. It's impossible for a new organization to clash with an old one; someone else needs to give them a blow.

"It's getting dark! Everyone, return to the nearby underground hideout in an orderly fashion! No matter what noise you hear at night, do not come out, not even if it's a cry for help! I will be responsible for everything on the surface tonight! Please trust me!" Zhong Mu shouted as he directed everyone to enter the safe zone.

After confirming that everyone had safely entered the underground area, Zhong Mu then gave instructions to the viewers in the live chat about the message he wanted to convey to Yin Xiu.

As soon as it got dark, the island became quiet, and the cruise ships floating on the sea slowly docked at the shore.

When Yin Xiu woke up, there were already many hunters on the deck outside. He groggily watched the live stream of what had happened on the island during the day while putting on his gear.

After adjusting the knife belt, Yin Xiu turned to look at Li Mo, who was sitting upright on the edge of the bed staring at him, and asked, "Are you going to come out with me like this?"

"Is it not allowed?" Li Mo smiled slightly. "I don't want to break up with my boyfriend."

Yin Xiu paused for a moment, thought for a few seconds, and then drew his sword. "Wait here for me. Don't come out. I'll be back in a bit."

Then he went out expressionlessly, wearing a mask and concealing a knife under his cloak.

There were more hunters staying on the ship tonight than Yin Xiu had expected. On the previous two nights, they would have rushed off to the island much earlier, but not many went tonight.

Yin Xiu didn't pay much attention. He wandered around the cruise ship, and when no hunters were paying attention, he found a corner to hide in. He then killed a passing hunter with a single slash and returned with the cloak and mask.

"Put it on, so you don't attract their attention." Yin Xiu tossed the cloak and mask to Li Mo, so that he could blend in on the ship.

"Okay." Li Mo obediently put on the mask and cloak, touched the extra stuff on her face, and then looked at Yin Xiu opposite her.

"What's wrong? Not used to it?" Yin Xiu asked, puzzled when he saw him constantly touching the mask.

But Li Mo shook his head, simply stepped forward, and pressed his mask against Yin Xiu's mask, as if they were kissing through the mask.

Yin Xiu paused, then quickly turned his head away, his expression hidden behind the mask. "Let's go, we're going to the island. We're busy tonight."

"Okay." Li Mo smiled and followed.

The two walked through the bustling group of hunters on the cruise ship, listening to their conversation, and finally understood why no hunters had gone to the island that night.

Not only can't we find a single easy player to kill tonight, but there's also a group of high-level players on the island who clearly don't belong to this instance, gathering on the ground and killing any hunter they pass by, making other hunters afraid to come ashore.

Originally, this was a low-level dungeon, a survival game where new players would clash with relatively weak hunting monsters, a game of hide-and-seek. However, the intrusion of a large number of high-level players has caused the dungeon to become strange and unpredictable.

"When will they finally change the rule that new players can bring high-level players into dungeons?! I can't stand it!"

"Normal high-level players just help out newbies, so only one or two people coming in won't affect the balance. But this group of players is a real problem. So many people are coming in, are they trying to slaughter the dungeon?"

"These people are just here to bully people and have fun with monsters. What's so great about such a small dungeon that they'd bother with it? Even a massacre dungeon would require someone with the skills of Yin Shashen."

"Isn't this a group of people causing trouble? Looks like we won't be able to get a hundred lives this time either. This is really annoying."

Amidst the disgruntled chatter of the hunters, Yin Xiu calmly walked through them and led Li Mo off the boat.

"Hey! Are you still going to the island? It's dangerous there tonight, not a place for low-level monsters like us." One of the hunters reminded Yin Xiu, remembering that he had helped them stop "Yin Xiu" during the day.

"It's nothing, I'll just go for a stroll." Yin Xiu waved his hand casually, stepped onto the island, and entered the forest under the watchful eyes of the group of hunters.

"Sigh, another one going to his death. He doesn't know that the island tonight is not a place for normal monsters to stay. Those players are the real hunters."

"That's all. Just stay put. Don't even think about getting a hundred lives this time. Don't bother with the sacrifice event."

As soon as Yin Xiu entered the forest and escaped the hunters' sight, he quickly took off his mask and cloak before anyone noticed.

He let out a long sigh, concealed the mask under his cloak, drew his sword, and looked around.

Tonight, he's not acting as a hunter, but rather wandering the island as a player.

The first objective is to suppress the faction of players in Town 114, as instructed by Zhong Mu.

The chat had been indignantly telling him for a long time how bad the players from town 114 were, and the fact that their leader was actually that kid piqued Yin Xiu's interest.

Let him go and see just how bad these people really are.
