Chapter 201 - Chapter 201 A Piranha is Hidden Among the Players Fishing in Troubled Waters

"Locked up".

"Two hundred."

"Attend the banquet."

"Alright, stop messing around. If you keep spamming Xiu Ge, he'll see it soon."

The comments section quickly quieted down. After Yin Xiu calmed Li Mo back into her original human form, the two of them turned around and left the cave together, heading outside.

After a large number of players rushed out of the cave, they began to scatter and flee. The players who had gathered outside started cursing and trying to capture them, but in the face of their survival instincts, no one could outrun them.

Everyone knew this was their only chance to escape; if they were caught again, they would die. So they rushed into the forest without looking back.

"Who let them out?! They can't even keep an eye on these few people! They're useless!" The young boy sat on the high place, angrily directing the people below, "Go and bring them back!"

"Yes, yes, I'll go right away."

"They can really run fast! They've been starving for days, how come they're still alive?"

"It runs really fast. Go catch it quickly, or we'll have to kill it again."

"The guards are useless; we'll kill them all in a bit."

Those people rushed into the woods to catch the escapee; the crowd was scattered and disorganized.

Yin Xiu also pulled Li Mo into the forest, arranged for Li Mo to go elsewhere, and the two of them split up to take advantage of the chaos to secretly kill people.

Even though there were no hunters on the island tonight, the game still turned into a chase and a flight.

Yin Xiu, knife in hand, hid in the shadows, observing the players. Some of those who had been ordered out were simply following orders to capture players and bring them back, while others were excitedly wielding weapons and indiscriminately killing those who tried to escape. In the chaotic scene, some people revealed their bloodthirsty nature.

"Help!!" The fleeing players only have physical strength, no weapons or ability to fight back. They try their best to run or hide in the forest. If they are caught, they can only shout for help helplessly.

"Going back to the boss is the same as killing someone anyway, so let me kill them right here." The pursuer revealed a bloodthirsty smile, raised his weapon high, and slashed at the person in front of him.

But the next second, a long blade pierced out from the darkness, piercing the attacker's chest with precision and ferocity, killing him instantly.

The fallen players were prepared to die when suddenly, blood blossomed in front of them, a cold light flashed in the darkness, and as soon as the sharp blade was withdrawn, Yin Xiu immediately left to find others without lingering.

They chased after each other, while Yin Xiu followed behind. When he found a player who was about to kill him, Yin Xiu would step into the darkness and finish him off with a single strike.

The fake hunter relentlessly pursues, while the real hunter lurks in the darkness, delivering a fatal blow.

Within half an hour, almost all the bloodthirsty players had died in the forest, their corpses strewn everywhere. The remaining players seemed to have sensed some danger and became very cautious. They dared not act recklessly in the forest anymore and began to push the players they had captured back to avoid trouble.

As they walked, two figures suddenly appeared in the darkness ahead. The player stopped abruptly, drawing their weapon and pointing it in their direction. "Who goes there?!"

Covered in blood, Yin Xiu pulled Li Mo out of the darkness. He hid his knife, trying to appear harmless, but his crimson body immediately frightened the players.

"You! What are you trying to do by blocking my way!" The player retreated warily, not treating Yin Xiu as a lost player at all, but rather as if he were a formidable enemy.

Yin Xiu frowned and looked down at himself. Strange, this was not what he had imagined. He hadn't brought any weapons, so why was the other party so wary? Shouldn't they have just arrested him and taken him back?

Yin Xiu then turned to look at Li Mo, who was dressed in a clean black suit beside him. It must be his fault for being too frightening.

Seeing that the other party was not being tactful, he pulled out a knife from behind his back, and without bothering to dodge, he went up and killed the player with a single blow.

The others who had been captured by this player were stunned. They had failed to escape and were on their way back, thinking they were doomed, but they were rescued again.

Wow, this guy is really strong!

"Thank you so much, boss! Thank you so much!" The players were deeply moved and turned to leave, but before they could even take a step, Yin Xiu grabbed their shoulders.

"I didn't say you were leaving," Yin Xiu said, his face covered in blood, smiling as he gazed at them. "Stay and help us out."

The players were on the verge of tears, crying out, "What kind of help are we supposed to give...?"

"Impersonate them, take me back." Yin Xiu wiped the blood off his face, casually cleansed himself, and then pointed at the players on the ground, "If you smear his blood on your faces, with all that chaos, no one should be able to recognize you."

"Um...do we have to go back?" The players looked reluctant. They had finally managed to escape, but now they had to go back. They couldn't figure out what the big boss was thinking.

Yin Xiu smiled and drew his sword. "Going back?"

"Go back! Go back! Go back right now!" Several players hurriedly squatted down, wiped their faces with the blood flowing on the ground, picked up the dead player's weapon, and prepared to walk back.

Yin Xiu nodded in satisfaction. On the way back, he picked up a few weapons from the players he had killed and gave them to them, just to make a show of it and also to give them a means of self-defense.

He wasn't really there to save anyone; he was just there to boost his performance, eliminate some dangerous players, and then go find that kid in Town 114 to deal with his competitor.

As for how many of these players can complete, that's considered good karma; it's just a side job.

After the chaos, the main camp in Town 114 was much smaller. Many people rushed out to capture people, but very few returned. Those who didn't return were all the most aggressive players.

The boy sitting on the high place frowned as he looked down at the people below. There were far too few useful crazy players missing. He didn't believe that none of them had returned from this trip, and it was even more impossible that they had been killed by a group of useless players who didn't have any weapons.

The only thing that comes to mind is that among the players who are taking advantage of the chaos, there is a piranha lurking.

His gaze swept across the crowd, and seeing no suspicious people, he jumped down and stood in front of them, scrutinizing them.

Yin Xiu had just returned and, taking advantage of the dense crowd, sneaked to the back row to quietly observe the young boy.

"Have all the people been caught?" The young boy could tell at a glance that many people had escaped and many had died outside. The few remaining players made him furious.

Those who returned all kept their heads down nervously, afraid to answer, lest they be noticed and killed in the process.

Seeing that the players remained silent, the young boy sneered, the firelight making the scars on his face look particularly grotesque. "Does not speaking mean you've captured them all? If you don't say anything soon, I'm going to get angry."

A few tense seconds passed in the player group. Someone, sweating profusely, stepped forward and respectfully handed something to the young boy. "Boss... I found this in the woods while chasing players..."

"I was thinking... how did this thing end up in the woods... could it have been brought back with some kind of information? Take a look?"

The person was probably trying to distract the young boy and ease the tense atmosphere, but it seemed that the object immediately attracted the attention of many people in the front row.

Yin Xiu tilted his head, his gaze sweeping across the crowd to the item being handed over by the player, and he paused in surprise.

Isn't that his hunter's cloak and mask hidden in the tree branch?
