Chapter 203 - Chapter 203 He diligently practiced good deeds and accumulated merit.

Yin Xiu sighed softly and drew the knife hanging at his waist. "I don't want to be cremated here with you."

"At that point, it's highly likely I'll be dead while you're still alive. Are you going to call me your boyfriend while I'm still a charred corpse?"

Li Mo's face tightened. "Then I'd better not!"

Yin Xiu smiled faintly, and amidst the panic around them, their casual conversation seemed remarkably relaxed.

He flicked his knife, kicked aside the people blocking his way, and said lazily, "Get out of the way, I'll open the door."

The person who couldn't open the door looked increasingly frustrated. "This door has been sealed with a powerful item by the boss; it's incredibly sturdy and impossible to open—"

Before the man could finish shouting, Yin Xiu gripped the knife hilt with both hands and slashed diagonally upwards with a sharp blade, splitting the door in two.

With a loud crash, the door fell to the ground.

The people next to Yin Xiu looked at him with complicated expressions. They had seen him hiding behind his boyfriend with a weak expression, and he hadn't uttered a single word under the boss's questioning. So he had been faking it all along? He could talk and fight, what was he pretending to be, this devoted little mute?

"Let's go." Yin Xiu ignored everyone's gaze, sheathed his knife, turned around, pulled Li Mo along, and hurried out.

The young boy was still waiting outside, originally intending to see how much he would be rewarded after the group of people were burned, and then sneak onto the ship at dawn to see what the hunters' conditions were for killing people.

Before the screams of burning could even be heard from inside, the door he had afflicted with the prop suddenly split in two, startling the young boy.

Although it wasn't a high-level stabilizing item, it was still an item. Who could break through its seal so easily? Clearly, those useless people inside weren't holding anything of any value either.

Then, he saw the previously delicate and beautiful mute girl calmly leading her sinister boyfriend out of the flames amidst the blazing fire.

The young boy stared at him warily. He wondered when this man had retrieved the knife, and judging from that one move, his skill seemed quite impressive. Add to that the mysterious man beside him, and this combination...

The young boy frowned. "You two are the hunters who took off your clothes and disguised themselves as players to get in, right? I accidentally let you in too; it was indeed my carelessness."

Yin Xiu stared at him calmly, "Guess."

Anger flashed across the young boy's face as he stared intently at the two figures outlined by the firelight. Their calm demeanor was completely different from the panicked players pouring out of the cave around them.

The boy was very unhappy that his plan had been ruined, but what upset him even more was the other person's attitude.

So what if he's a hunter? He can turn into a little wooden figure in front of him. These two monsters have clearly seen this before, yet they still don't take him seriously.

The boy sneered, "Then why don't you come and kill me?"

Yin Xiu narrowed his eyes indifferently and gestured with his chin toward the young boy, "Li Mo, don't kill him, leave him with a breath."

A sinister smile crept across Li Mo's lips. "Okay, boyfriend."

His dark figure pounced forward swiftly, startling the young boy who pulled out another dagger from his pocket and nervously defended himself.

His opponents were either turned into little wooden figures by his killing tools or stabbed to death by his knife. He was not afraid of the hunters' attacks at all; he had killed quite a few hunters on this island.

But when the man's sinister figure darted in front of him, he wasn't turned into a little wooden doll. The cold face was so close that it sent a chill down the boy's spine. He suddenly thrust the dagger in his hand, stabbing it firmly into the man's heart.

Did the other party think he was a child and therefore didn't show any murderous intent? That's fine too; many fools like him have been killed by him, and this man will surely be the same…

After a moment of silence, the boy looked up in alarm and took a step back.

The person in front of him didn't bleed a drop, and calmly pulled out the knife that had been plunged into his body. From the open wound, he clearly saw an eyeball roll over and meet his gaze.

"Monster! You're a monster!" The boy had never encountered anything like this before. His face quickly turned pale with fear, and he stumbled back a step.

Li Mo tossed the dagger into his mouth right in front of him, chewed it up in a few bites, then tossed the hilt back to the boy's feet and smiled, "Here you go."

This familiar action suddenly made the young boy realize, "You are that monster... the monster that appeared during the day!"

That monster that looks like Yin Xiu's summoned beast, so his arrival... was actually Yin Xiu's idea?

"Did Yin Xiu send you to sabotage my plans?!" The young boy glared fiercely at Li Mo in front of him. He dared not step forward again and could only retreat while exuding intimidation.

"Huh?" Li Mo didn't quite understand, but he still nodded. Yes, he was sent by Yin Xiu, right? But didn't he come in person?

Not far away, Yin Xiu scratched his brow. Summoned beast? What summoned beast? How come there are so many outrageous settings after I woke up?

He couldn't be bothered with it, so he just found a place to sit down and watch the show. He watched as Li Mo went up to threaten him in a sinister manner, scaring the young boy into dodging in panic.

Lacking inherent strength and without the aid of tools, it is like a trapped beast struggling to escape, extremely vulnerable.

Yin Xiu rested his chin on his hand and looked at Li Mo. Monsters are so much better. They're powerful and can't die. They can even occasionally act as henchmen to help him kill troublesome people. They're perfect.

The young boy cast a fierce glare at him, to which Yin Xiu responded with a smile.

That person wasn't unwilling to come and kill him; it was obvious that Yin Xiu was watching the show without making a move, and the props were still effective against Yin Xiu. But he couldn't get over there; Li Mo was guarding the front line, so he couldn't reach Yin Xiu at all.

Several attempts to kill Yin Xiu were thwarted each time. The young boy was furious. Finally, he gritted his teeth and took out a new prop coin.

"Don't kill him." Yin Xiu raised his voice again to warn him, afraid that the young boy might do something drastic and cause Li Mo to kill him without restraint.

But the boy only glared at him, then crushed the prop coin, and disappeared into the air, turning into a wisp of smoke and flying away.

"So he was running away." Yin Xiu stared lazily in the direction Yan had left. He had thought this young boy had some backbone, but in the end, he was just afraid of dying.

At first, Yin Xiu thought this person was just like himself in the past, full of scars and sharp and dangerous, but just hadn't met the right opportunity to change himself.

Now Yin Xiu can confirm it: this person is rotten to the core.

Selfish, ruthless, and cruel, he is still far inferior to his former self. At least Yin Xiu would never do something like burning his trusted subordinates together for a little bit of performance.

Yin Xiu stroked his chin thoughtfully. Thinking about it, this young boy was treated better than he used to be; he even had teammates who were willing to believe in him.

Unfortunately, these people were unlucky and encountered some bad people.

Then Yin Xiu should do good deeds and accumulate virtue, and do a good deed for the high-level players, purging out the rotten ones.
