Chapter 210 - Chapter 210 Killing monsters is just a matter of blinking an eye for him!

Yin Xiu stuffed food into his mouth while gazing at the campfire in thought.

After a moment of silence, he suddenly frowned. "Could it be that completing the monster's conditions gives you monster items, while completing the human tasks is what gives players the items?"

He looked up at Zhong Mu and asked, "Didn't the teachers at Deep Sea Academy say that the item was originally a strange item, but because of its special nature, players can only use it once by binding it?"

"That's right." Zhong Mu nodded obediently. "It's a strange item that's hard for players to obtain. If it's accidentally bound to a player, it will become a one-time use item."

"Then… we can't just go down the weird route." Yin Xiu frowned as he tore off a leg from a roasted chicken and was about to put it in his mouth when a small tentacle's mouth came over. He then fed it to the tentacle. "If you complete the task of killing 100 people within seven days, you will have completed the weird mission. This item may then appear as a weird item. You can't help them."

"So players who survive for seven days usually clear the game?" Zhong Mu scratched his head in confusion. "If you can get it just by surviving for seven days, most players who clear this dungeon can get it. Completing the human objective probably won't work."

"Then... how about combining them?" Yin Xiu gestured slightly. "This is a low-level dungeon. Normally, players who are at the level of this dungeon difficulty would be exhausted just surviving for seven days. Once the seven days are up, they will leave immediately. But this time, isn't there an extra seventh rule? This seventh rule is very likely prepared for players who are not at the level of this dungeon difficulty."

"Oh yeah… Brother Xiu, you triggered a seventh rule that didn't exist before when you entered this instance." Zhong Mu quickly pulled out the rules he had recorded from his pocket. "Hmm… The seventh rule is that you must survive for seven days, but after seven days, you will be the most precious prey here, and no one can hunt you."

"Normally, everyone clears the level and leaves by the seventh day. Whether or not one becomes a prized prey is no longer important. What does this mean..."

As he pondered, Yin Xiu beside him said quietly, "Is it possible that the conditions of the monsters need to be combined with the seventh rule of the humans?"

"To live past the seventh day as a human and become the most noble prey, so that no one can hunt you anymore, means that if you live to the seventh day, you will transform into the hunter in this hunting ground."

Zhong Mu paused, stared at his little notebook, and said thoughtfully, "Brother Xiu is right. Hunters can actually be killed. The rules say they can be killed, so hunters are, in a sense, prey. They are the most noble prey in this hunting ground, meaning they have priority in killing, have armories and rest areas, and have no physical limitations."

Zhong Mu thought about it more and more and it made sense. "No one can hunt you anymore, which means that you have changed from human prey to hunter. There are no other hunters above you. You are the highest being here."

"The correct way is to complete the seventh day as a human player, and then don't leave even after the dungeon door opens. Become a hunter and start the next round of slaughter. Once you have a hundred lives, you can obtain that special item!"

"It should be." Yin Xiu nodded. "To verify this, we won't go through the condition of having a hundred lives for now. You take care of the human side and make sure they don't die again. We'll check back in seven days. If things don't go as expected, we'll come back to this instance and take the weird route next time."

"Okay!" Zhong Mu nodded vigorously. Normally, high-level players who don't have this information won't come to this dungeon to harass low-level players. Players who are normally at the level of difficulty of this dungeon have no chance to complete the conditions. They are not worried about the items being taken away for the time being, but will test the waters first.

After finishing his meal, Yin Xiu picked up the little tentacles that were perched on his shoulder, then stood up. "Alright, I'm going back now. You guys stay here."

When Li Mo and Ya Ya saw that the little tentacle was going to be taken away, they were both a little confused. "Aren't we going to come with you?"

Yin Xiu shook his head. "One of the two sets of hunter's clothes was taken by that boy and I don't know where it is. Only one set is left where it was before. None of the hunters on the ship are coming down, so I only have one set of hunter's clothes left. I'll take it with me."

He waved his hand, revealing the eight-clawed monster he was holding on his arm.

Ya Ya pouted, "Okay then... Brother, remember to come find me tomorrow night."

"Okay," Yin Xiu replied.

Li Mo stared intently at Yin Xiu and smiled, "I'll look for you when it gets dark."

"Mm." Yin Xiu nodded.

"Be careful, Brother Xiu," Zhong Mu warned, watching as Yin Xiu, carrying the swaying little tentacle ball, picked up the boy's corpse and left, his figure quickly disappearing into the night.

Zhong Mu turned to look at the two unhappy monsters beside him, and awkwardly dared not say a word. Well, with Brother Xiu gone, these two are even more difficult to deal with. Li Mo himself is much more sinister than the little tentacle dumpling, and he is also more at odds with Ya Ya.

After returning to retrieve the hunter's clothes he had left behind, Yin Xiu carried the boy's body back to the ship before dawn.

There were still quite a few hunters on the deck looking towards the island. The players must have made quite a commotion when they escaped earlier. These hunters were curious but dared not go ashore, so they all gathered on the deck to watch the excitement.

From afar, they spotted a strange creature dressed as a hunter emerging from the darkness, carrying someone who looked somewhat familiar to them.

"Huh... isn't that the weirdo who went to the island before? He was the only one who went to the island tonight with another person, so why did he come back alone?"

"Could it be that Yin Xiu killed the other one? He's been killing hunters on the island all night."

"Wait... what it's carrying... doesn't that look like Yin Xiu who stopped us here before?"

"No way? Is it really Yin Xiu?"

The hunters, drawn by the attention, immediately gathered around, only to be stunned when they saw Yin Xiu carrying what they believed to be the corpse of "Yin Xiu" up.

Holy crap, what kind of awesome big shot is this? He actually killed the legendary Yin Xiu, that god of death?

"You...you...you killed him?" The hunters were incredulous, hesitant and afraid to approach, fearing that the terrifying man might suddenly open his eyes and wipe them all out.

"Hmm, killed him." Yin Xiu responded coldly, throwing the boy's corpse on the ground. "Is this the Yin Xiu you guys were talking about? I saw him causing quite a ruckus on the island tonight, bringing a lot of players to ambush the hunters. I just happened to be passing by and killed him."

The hunters were suddenly plunged into darkness.

Just passing by, perfect timing, should I kill him?

That's Yin Xiu!! They've all witnessed his strength! Killing monsters is a piece of cake for him!

It just killed someone like that?!
