Chapter 482 - It has been discussed, and I feel much more energetic now!

"Got it, I'll be more careful next time." Boss Ye nodded, taking a puff of his cigarette in confusion.

He didn't know what Zuo Meng was worried about; generally speaking, Zuo Meng was the one who should be suddenly kidnapped.

"We've got the photos, shouldn't we leave now? It feels a bit more dangerous here than before." Zuo Meng clutched her small notebook, glancing around and noticing that the villagers who had been wary of her earlier were now even more hostile after she left the bride's house.

"We should go back. Let me see if Yin Xiu has caught any fish." Ye Tianxuan grinned, walking happily towards the edge of the village.

Zuo Meng was sweating profusely but could only follow.

Three figures crowded together by the river outside the village.

Yin Xiu sat in the middle, silently holding his fishing hook, staring intently at the water, breathless and focused.

The two beside him didn't dare to utter a sound, leaning against Yin Xiu on either side, glancing at him and then at the water every now and then.

Ya Ya couldn't bear the silence and quietly looked up at Li Mo, gesturing.

"Brother...why can't you catch anything?"

Li Mo silently gestured back.

"I don't know."

The two monsters didn't know anything about fishing either,

so they could only watch from the sidelines. They dared not speak while fishing and were very bored, so they could only tug at the grass.

Ya Ya frowned and turned to look at the water.

When they arrived, her brother had scattered some bait on the surface, and the hooks were baited when he cast them in, but now, more than ten minutes had passed, and all the bait had been eaten, but her brother's hook hadn't moved at all.

She clenched her fists. These fish are nasty! Once her brother leaves, she'll give them a good beating!

Just then, the sound of footsteps came from afar.

From afar, Ye Tianxuan's slightly amused voice drifted over, "Yin Shashen, it's been quite a while, you should have caught quite a few fish by now, right?"

Yin Xiu turned around with a dark face, "...Almost."

"Almost, you should be able to catch some." Ye Tianxuan leisurely moved a small stool over and sat down to watch the spectacle, "I hope you catch a big one."

Yin Xiu turned his head, staring intently at the river, "Definitely."

He might not catch any fish, but he had to keep up the act.

The group sat by the river watching Yin Xiu fish. After Ye Tianxuan appeared, Li Mo and Ya Ya finally had a chance to talk, both lingering beside Yin Xiu, chatting idly with him to distract him from the fish. The three of them together created a warm and harmonious family atmosphere.

Ye Tianxuan watched thoughtfully, smiling enigmatically, "That's great, Yin Shashen, at least you're not fishing alone anymore."

"Mm," Yin Xiu replied lazily.

Neither of them could catch any fish, so a bit of noise was definitely better than being alone.

Ye Tianxuan calmly took out a bottle of bubble solution from his pocket and blew bubbles onto the river. "Lady Ye said that the influence on your memories has been completely removed. You should be back to normal now, right?"

Yin Xiu nodded, but glancing at Ye Tianxuan's actions out of the corner of his eye, he couldn't help but frown. "You're bothering me while I'm fishing."

"What does it matter? You can't catch anything anyway." Ye Tianxuan grinned and continued blowing bubbles onto the river. Yin Xiu

remained silent but didn't stop him. "Rude."

"I've always been rude." Ye Tianxuan said matter-of-factly. "But your past memories are all bad. It's good to forget them temporarily; it'll lessen the pain."

How terrifying Yin Xiu was when he had all his memories! No one dared to approach this madman, whether in the town or the dungeon. Later, as his memories gradually faded, his emotions actually stabilized.

Amnesia, ironically, forced him to endure the most difficult years.

"It's not all pain..." Yin Xiu murmured softly, glancing at Li Mo beside him. "There are still some memories I don't want to lose."

His peripheral vision met Li Mo's gaze; whenever Yin Xiu looked over, he would always meet Li Mo's eyes.

Perhaps... even without forgetting those memories, he could get through it. Wasn't there still that little black ball of a cat always by his side?

Watching the two gradually exude warmth in their gaze, Ye Tianxuan remarked leisurely, "Being in love makes you all more energetic."

"Seeing how stable you two are, Lady Ye and the others shouldn't need to worry too much."

Yin Xiu silently turned back, remembering that the entire monster world was still in a transitional phase.

After the players who wanted to leave cleared the game and left, the monsters would seal off the entire monster world, then open the sealed gate, assimilating everyone remaining.

The monsters they feared would no longer pose a danger to the outside world, nor would they need to live within the seal forever.

This was undoubtedly the best option, but it would take a long time for all players to clear the level and leave. Until that day arrived, they would all have to wait patiently.

"It's so long..." Yin Xiu murmured, wondering how much longer they would have to wait to break the seal. Thinking of Li Mo's true form still trapped in that small seal, waiting for his arrival in the darkness, each day seemed to stretch on endlessly.

He longed to break the seal sooner, to let him see the world outside.

Sensing Yin Xiu's slightly agitated emotions, Li Mo immediately snuggled closer to his boyfriend, nuzzling his cheek. "As long as I'm by my boyfriend's side, it doesn't matter where I am."

He was already happy enough to be able to use a branch group to transform into human form and be with his boyfriend.

"We'll meet again sooner or later, but we still need to wait a little longer," Yin Xiu whispered, touching Li Mo's face.

The atmosphere between the two was incredibly sweet and intimate.

Zuo Meng, standing to the side, silently turned his head away. He knew he'd be subjected to this display of affection; there was no escaping it.

Accompanied by several people, Yin Xiu spent the entire afternoon fishing by the river, but in the end... he didn't catch anything.

Ya Ya silently hugged her little Yin Xiu doll, blinking her eyes, but unlike usual, she didn't fight with Li Mo for it; instead, she was very quiet.

At first, he could chat while fishing, but then he fell silent, finally staring intently at the river with a gloomy expression, looking like he wanted to go down and see if there were any fish.

"It's getting dark, let's eat and come back to fish, okay? The fish should be easier to catch at night, that's what night fishing is all about," Ye Tianxuan encouraged him with a smile.

Yin Xiu glanced at the sky; it was indeed dark without him realizing it. Sometimes, chatting with Li Mo and then focusing on fishing would make him lose track of time, which was his usual way of passing the time.

It just hadn't yielded any good results, so Yin Xiu packed up his line with a dark face.

The group packed up and headed back, and just as they reached the village entrance, they saw a large group of people blocking the entrance.

It was the villagers.

Unlike last night, they didn't wander around the village searching for players. Instead, they grabbed their weapons early and positioned themselves at the village entrance.

Their eyes were fierce, radiating murderous intent. "Hand over that woman's thread!"

Yin Xiu raised an eyebrow slightly. He didn't know what kind of line it was, but he was in a bad mood because he hadn't caught any fish.
