*Episode 12: What Will You Sacrifice?*
I (still in Luna's body) sat on her bed, staring at the ceiling. Ajax's words kept replaying in my head:
*"There has to be a sacrifice. Something meaningful. Something you're willing to give up forever."*
What did that even mean? My favorite necklace? My journals?
No. It had to be *bigger*. Deeper.
Luna barged into the room—well, *me*, in her body.
"We need to talk," she said seriously, for once.
"I've been thinking the same thing," I said, sitting up. "What are we going to give up?"
Luna hesitated. "I thought maybe… I could give up my phone."
I gave her a look.
"Okay, okay, I know. That's not deep enough," she admitted.
There was a silence before I said, "What if I give up dancing?"
Luna's eyes widened. "But you *love* dancing."
"Exactly," I whispered. "It would *hurt*. And maybe… that's the point."
She sat beside me. "I think I know what I have to give up too."
I glanced at her.
"My reputation."
Now it was my turn to be surprised. "Seriously?"
Luna nodded slowly. "It means a lot to me. But I've seen how much damage it's done. Maybe letting it go means growing up."
We both stared ahead, quiet but connected for the first time.
The switch had changed us.
Now, we had one shot to switch back.
And we'd give up everything to make it happen.
