"What are you just standing there for!" Hearing Mo Qingcheng's urging, Li Xian smilled slightly.
"Mom! You haven't changed at all!"
"What did you say?" She asked when she saw him speaking.
"Wow! Brother! How did you learn all this?" Li Hongyi asked as she looked at him curiously.
"You little kid like to ask a lot of questions. Go! Go back to sleep!" He didn't answer right away, but jokingly refuted her.
He turned his head from his family and looked towards the entrance of the house, only to see a figure walk in. It was Feng Shi. This time though, her aura was clearly different.
Looking at her, he felt as though energy between heaven and earth was intentionally flowing towards her.
That was the actual situation for those that advanced to the Dao Body stage. The situation was completely different when it came to him. But he felt his path was stronger, due to the inheritance he had.
"Sister Feng is back!" A voice escaped his younger sister's mouth as she rushed forward to welcome Feng Shi.
Mo Qingcheng on the other hand smiled as she watched Feng Shi's figure appear.
"Daughter in-law! Thank goodness you are safe. I thought my unfilial son had run away leaving you in danger!" She actually dared to say this.
Even Li Xuan who had been watching all this, tuned to look at his mother a few more times.
"Empress Mother! When has this child offended you!" He asked with a straight face.
How could he concern himself with her little thoughts. His main priority was to create some protection around their home and resources present. Going out to take some in the future would also require a safe environment.
In that case, he thought of some skills he had learned in his previous life. Though he wasn't very good in cultivation talent, he focused on other skills that enhanced his survival or else he wouldn't have managed to live for thousands of years.
Seeing Feng Shi back safe and sound, he planned to leave this place to her. He was going to set up some restrictions and formations using stellar energy to protect their family domain.
"Since you are back! I'll leave everything here to you! I have something urgent to handle. I will be back soon." Li Xuan didn't talk much as he left.
He wasn't in a hurry to set up a formation, after all he was lacking in materiels. What he was interested in was something else.
His figure flashed from the door, vanishing from everyone's sight.
His target was clear, he was visiting that 'forest'. In his previous life, it was rumored to have stellar energy before even stellar storms appeared.
He treated this kind of talk as nothing more than empty talk, even after many good resources and treasures were obtained by the strongest of his time.

His figure appeared at the packing space, and what lay before him was different types fo cars.
It was indeed an understatement to call their family rich.
"Before the second wave of the stellar storm, cars are still a convenient means of transport!" He thought as his eyes scanned through the various cars packed in this space.
"The old man is indeed not bad. He doesn't forget to acquire any interesting new toy that pops up in the market." The place had no more than hundreds of cars in different styles.
Just this alone was enough to showcase the financial capabilities of his family.
It was not shocking that they occupied such vast land, even with a forest, clearly they had the capital for this.
When he started the car, the exit from the car parking space opened on its own, and he drove off.
It took about seven minutes before he arrived at the main gate, clearly automated too.
The black gate opened and the jeep he was in drove off into the distance, as his family watched from back in the house.
"Where is brother going?" Li Hongyi asked at her mother as she watched the black jeep vanish through the window.
Mo Qingcheng shook her head, as she turned to look at Feng Shi that also shook her head.
"Li Xuan didn't tell me where he was going? He just asked me to watch over this place. It seems that he has something very important to collect and will be back." Feng Shi thought Li Xuan was hiding some secrets but didn't dwell much on it.
She too had her own secrets and one of them being that she had attained the cultivation of First class Martial artist before the stellar storm.
Despite this situation being strange, Li Xuan never asked her about it. She also didn't plan to ask on things he didn't plan to tell.
When the jeep Li Xuan was in finally left the family territory, he was astonished by what he saw. The world was no longer what it used to be.
Even though the First stellar storm didn't bring about changes in the Earth surface or expansion of the planet, most buildings could survive this change and collapsed. Clearly not all people had the resources to construct top quality houses like his family.
He passed by residential apartments and could see a scene resembling an apocalypse.
Houses had half collapsed or cracked, and he was sure that the casualties weren't few. It was a shame, he didn't have the benovelence of a saint, as he drove off without even batting an eye.
It was just the first wave and the moment the second stellar storm descended, the situation in the world would become even more chaotic.
Life and death of many was bound to follow, and he had no plans of meddling too much.
He was still trying to elevate himself to a position that could allow him to protect his family, and had no time to think about saving others.
Besides, Li Xuan had lived far longer than most in his previous life, with ten of thousands of years worth of lifespan. One could call him an old fossil by the standards of ths world.
In such a long time, he obviously was no longer someone bound by morals of the current world. He learned to see things through a different perspective. Just to make things simpler, he was no longer a kind young man from the past.
For his state of mind to have reached the fifth level, clearly meant he had experienced all sorts of things.
It was why seeing the current state of the world, he didn't have any change in expression.
Perhaps the best way to describe him would be someone that could act based on his heart. If he wanted to save someone and had the ability, he naturally wouldn't mind doing it. The opposite is also true.
The black jeep soon reached a stop, as Li Xuan walked out and looked into the distance.
A large section of the road had been destroyed, leaving behind a deep pit.
"It seems something from outer space landed here!" He looked in the depths of the pit, and could see a slight bright glow.
"Did some treasure from those aliens fall here?" He wondered as he wondered whether to descend down the pit.
"Lets see what good thing could possibly have fallen in this place." He clearly had no plans of passing up on an opportunity.
He remembered how some of this treasures allowed some people to become well know figures in his previous life while he remained mediocre.
How could he pass up such a chance.
