Synopsis
What does it mean to sacrifice yourself for love? If you never loved yourself yet loved others then when the time comes you having seen no worth will gladly take the place of the one you love most. So tell me, Diana Kaslana or rather K-422....The failure, what will you choose in the end when the one you love wishes to sacrifice themself? I would take their place instead. That word was the last thing spoken before reality shattered, and the person who spoke began to fall through the world's boundaries.

Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Gaze of Finality descends

{The Cocoon of Finality final battle aftermath}

"Diana....Why… why would you sacrifice yourself for me!" Kiana pleads as she watches her older sister, a person who found her shortly after her father left and became something of a surrogate mom to the lonely and all-but-orphaned Kiana, merging with the cocoon of finality. Diana, now the living embodiment of Honkai's will and the Herrscher of the End, gazes sadly at her sister and her friends.

"Kiana….. You didn't deserve this fate…. Unlike me, you truly love and belong on Earth amongst mankind….. I have never felt like that. I was never supposed to exist in the first place. A failed product like me was destined to be discarded. Yet… if doing this ensures you never have to suffer being alone, then I will gladly remain by myself on the moon for eternity, so you can live in the world you love so deeply."

Her eyes drift to Mei and Bronya, two girls who stood through hell with her precious little sister.

"Mei… Bronya… though we never truly bonded beyond being fellow Valkyries, I am truly thankful you both stood by Kiana's side… You all embodied the virtues of the Valkyries more than I ever could." The cocoon pulses, pulling her deeper into the radiance as her body slowly shifts, losing its human shape.

"Well… our time is up. Once I fully assimilate the Honkai, I will sever the access between Earth and moon completely…. so this time, it really is goodbye, not just 'see you soon. "

Diana's form trembles, her outline flickering as the Honkai consumes the last of her humanity. But even while vanishing, she lifts her hand — a final, gentle motion — and her voice echoes, faint and fading. "Kiana… Mei… Bronya… you must return home."

A wave of pure Honkai energy bursts outward, not violent, but impossibly calm — a light that wraps around the three of them. Kiana reaches toward her sister, desperate, but the light seizes her, pulling her back. "Diana—!!" In the same moment the transport begins, they all feel it:

a sudden emptiness

a severing

a hollow snap inside their chests.

The connection to the Honkai is gone. All Herrscher's abilities vanish in an instant.

On Earth, every trace of Honkai energy evaporates like mist. Honkai beasts scream once before dissolving into particles of light. Schicksal's weapons shatter the moment their power sources disappear, fragments scattering across the ground.

Anti-Entropy's Honkai-forged arms flicker, fail, and break apart in their hands — powerless without the energy they once harnessed. Across the world — in Schicksal, in Anti-Entropy, and in every Valkyrie training base — those suffering from Honkai erosion gasp as the corruption burns out of their bodies all at once.

Some collapse as the sudden relief overwhelms them.

Others cry, clutching their chests, realizing the constant ache they lived with is simply… gone. Severe cases breathe freely for the first time in years, the purple cracks fading from their skin like they were never there.

Even comatose erosion victims stir as their stigmata vanish, replaced by warm, normal life. For the first time in history, humanity is free of the Honkai. The girls land on Earth in a burst of dissipating light, collapsing to their knees, the world suddenly silent.

They look up instinctively toward the moon… but the connection to the cocoon and Diana is gone.

No Voice

No presence.

Nothing.

Kiana clutches her chest, trembling, tears streaming as she whispers, "Diana-nee…" But there is no answer. Only the quiet Earth — free from the Honkai for the first time in history —was purchased with the loss of the one who was never accepted by it.
