Jian disappeared and reappeared on another floating island right below his own.
This island was far, far larger than his. Much bigger. Jian slowly looked around. The entire island carried a serene, holy, almost sacred atmosphere that wrapped around everything like a gentle blessing.
It matched his wife's Sovereign Concept perfectly. She was Prime Embryo stage cultivator. She walks the path of Sovereign Spark. It also matched her race.
Jian's gaze shifted toward the distance. There, a majestic palace stood tall. It was far grander and more exquisite than his own, radiating a golden-white aura that rose and fell in slow, ethereal waves. The island itself was quite enormous, nearly a billion kilometers in size.
Jian arrived before the palace gates.
He stood there for a few moments, hands clasped behind his back, quietly taking in the familiar sight. This was the place he had once lived in almost every day when they first arrived here.
Memories flooded his mind.
Back when his small family had first ascended to Divine Heaven, hopeful, excited, and overwhelmed, they had found this rural Lower Realm untouched and uninhabited. They chose to build their home at its center, where gravity itself behaved strangely, as if unsure whether it should exist or not.
This entire estate spanned nearly fifty trillion kilometers encompassed by a massive multi functional formation. That was why there wasn'treally any need for servants other then doing some chores.
The estate was small but it was theirs.
Most of the islands here didn't even have names yet. There were millions of small and big islands all over the estate. Waiting to be groomed.
Jian and his wives were still building, still settling in, still dreaming of a quiet and cozy life together at that time. That was before he spiraled into panic.
Before the fear of losing them consumed him.
Jian shook his head, feeling a wave of embarrassment and guilt wash over him. Still, when he looked at the palace gates again, excitement flickered in his eyes.
He stepped forward.
The gates opened on their own.He was the master of this estate. No gate here would ever remain closed to him. Not that he needed to walk through anyway. He can just appear anywhere as long as there was even a faintest Faith towards him. It didn't matter what birthed it.
Divine Spirit stage isn't called Divine Spirit for no reason.
Jian walk inside like he owed the owner of this place so money.
There were no servants inside. Mostly because of the formation.
But most importantly… no one needed to see his wives or vessels. Jian walked toward the source of the aura.
The palace interior was massive.
The hall stretched endlessly, lined with elegant furniture and adorned with murals that seemed alive, yet not alive at the same time. They felt like frozen moments of history, watching him in silence.
Jian walked calmly through the hall, memories surfacing one after another. A bitter smile tugged at his lips.
After a long walk, he stopped before another gate.
It was golden, carved with countless runes that shimmered faintly.
Jian didn't hesitate.
Crack~~
The gate opened.
Swish~~
A wave of golden aura washed over his face. It felt sacred. Holy. The scent in the air was intoxicating, familiar, comforting. He sniffed the air instinctively.
A smile slowly formed on his face. Feeling his heart beat faster thinking of sniffing the source.
'Hehe~ I can't wait~~'
Jian laughed internally. Them his focus shifted.
At the center of the room sat a woman. She looked at him with a cold expression but there was no killing intent behind it.
She had long, flowing golden hair and eyes the same radiant color. Her beauty was overwhelming, enough to put even the most renowned beauties of the realms to shame. She wore golden robes that radiated quiet authority.
This was Swynna Wuji. Jian's first wife.
The woman he had been with for nearly a hundred million years.
"Why are you here~?"
She asked. Her melodies voice was cold, yet it carried warmth beneath it that she tried to hide. The room trembled as her aura flared.
She tried to repel Jian with her aura, but Jian stood firm like an unmovable mountain.
Jian smiled. To him it felt like spring breeze. Fragrant and peaceful. Swynnas coldness didn't effect him one bit. It made him excited instead.
"Why can't I be here? This is my home. I came to meet my wife. What is it to you?"
He with a teasing smile. If a wife throws a tantrum, best way to calm her isn't with apology but pounding her with so much love that she forgets every other grieving.
And Jian likes to do that from behind. Hehe~
He walked straight toward her and crouched down in front of her. She leaned back instinctively, as if avoiding capture.
Her face remained cold, but her heart was pounding so loudly she could barely hear anything else. All she could feel was her heartbeat. His face was right there.
That teasing smile. The same smile she had fallen in love with. The same smile that uses to make her feel butterflies in her womb very time she saw it...
Three million years ago, when they first arrived here, everything had begun to change. She had watched her husband slowly spiral into paranoia and madness, growing distant and cold.
She couldn't stop him. All she could do was watch. Watch as he broke the little promise they made that they would never walk the detestable Divine Path. Jian stepped into Divine Step by choosing to walk on Divine Path.
She never thought of leaving even after all this time. The idea never even crossed her mind. She was free as Jian had married her on equal terms. They were married when they were in Mortal Heaven. Just staring their Immortal journey.
All of her sister including herself could leave any moment unlike the new ones who were tied to Jian's Deity Status and can't leave without Jian's consent.
But they never left.
Instead, they felt guilt. Pain. Uselessness. To protect them, he had married countless women for power and influence. She had watched it all happen, powerless to stop it.
So she secluded herself.
Yet through all those years, she dreamed.
She dreamed that one day her husband would return, wearing that same teasing smile, not hiding his pain behind a cold expression so they would hate him instead of worrying for him.
And now… Swynna felt like she was dreaming again.Just another dream like all the others she had in the past million years.
'!!!'
Then she felt it. A warm hand gently touched her left cheek.
Swynna shuddered. She almost broke down but she held herself together. She needed to teach him a lesson. He couldn't keep making dangerous decisions without their consent.
But inside…
She was meltin'!! This was what she had longed for every single day for three million years!
"Swyn~~"
Then she heard it. Her name. The way only her husband called it. That sound shattered what little defense she had left. Her face flushed red. Her eyes grew dreamy. Her breathing turned uneven.
She tried to frown. Tried to say something.
She opened her mouth to say something but Jian kissed her.
"MmMmMmnmN~~"
Swynna shuddered violently. His tongue invaded hers, wet and dominating, leaving her no room to resist. Every line of defense collapsed instantly. Her arms and legs went weak.
Her heart raced so fast she could barely think. Jian pulled her into his embrace. She felt his heartbeat. It was just as fast as hers.
That alone made her heart soften even more. He wasn't pretending. He still felt the same. They kissed for a long time.
When Jian finally let go, Swynna slowly opened her eyes.
"Huff ~huff~"
She was breathing heavily, sweating, her ears ringing slightly.
She found herself lying on a bed. She didn't even know when it had appeared. Her heart skipped a beat.
"Hehe~"
Jian was crawling toward her now, wearing a devilish grin that made her petals grow wet.
She knew what was coming. Her mind screamed at her to resist. But her body refused to listen.
Swynna could do nothing but surrender herself to her husband's mercy.
