In the living area Lu Hong sat next to Li Jia Yi with Lin XiXi sitting beside Lu Hong, in fromt of them sat a middle-aged man with overwhelming presence of great authority. While Lu Hong was scrutinizing the man in front Long Liang Ning was also appraising Lu Hong.
Li Jia Yi seeing that the atmosphere was growing tense and awkward broke silence
"Lu Hong this is your God father Long Liang Ning"
Lu Hong looked at Li Jia Yi with a flicker of surprise but quickly adopted as he greeted Long Liang Ning.
"Hello God father"
"Hmm, kid it's good that you are back by the way do you work out daily"
Long Liang Ning asked as he looked at Lu Hong's well defined abs and muscles, Li Jia Yi rolled her eyes muttering under her breath
'Bunch of muscle heads'
Even though it was silent Long Liang Ning and Lu Hong both head it and burst into laughter, only Lin XiXi who was sitting to the side didn't know what happened and looked at them in confusion. After conversing for a while all four 9f them sat at the dining table where serving ladies swiftly brought out several delectable dishes.
As they chat and ate Li Jia Yi suddenly looked at Lin XiXi enquiring
"What do your family do"
Lin XiXi was thrown off guard but being a young lady herself She calmed her self before responding.
"My dad runs a small business in Imperial capital and my mom was a designer"
"I see, if so why did you came to Magic city to study. I didn't think they were no universities that won't take you in"
Li Jia Yi spoke her words quiet straight forward and direct, Lin XiXi lowered her head making the whole room fell quiet. Lu Hong fell a bit awkward not knowing how to break the silence, he looked at his mother with a pleasing eyes who smiled at him reassuringly.
Lin XiXi after a brief silence responded saying
"Recently my dad's business was not doing well, Long family young master Long Wei started making trouble with the intention of coveting my ..... . So my dad not wanting to see me suffer sent me away for studies"
The whole room once again fell quiet as everyone looked at Li Jia Yi trying to discern her next move. Li Jia Yi didn't say anything instead Long Liang Ning was the one who spoke.
"Long Wei, isn't that second masters illegitimate son"
Lin XiXi's eyes dimmed as she nodded not saying anything, Long Liang Ning wiped wis mount and excused himself.

Lu Hong and Li Jia Yi nodded but Lin XiXi looked at him a bit confused but didn't say anything. After spending some time with Lu Hong decided to depart as he looked at his watch he stood up and addressed His mother.
"Mom, it's almost time. I will take my leave"
"Hmm, already. Fine follow me I had something I want to talk to you alone"
Lu Hong nodded as he followed his mom with a hint of impatience and curiosity, meanwhile Lin Xi Xi sat there as she looked at Lu Hong and Li Jia Yi's departing backs. She remembered how she fell in love with this very guy and when she thought about how he rejected her a bitter taste enveloped her.
Meanwhile in the study Li Jia Yi sat opposite to Lu Hong as she placed a cup of freshly brewed tea in front of him. Lu Hong picked up the cup and took a sip as he remarked
"Hmm, so refreshing"
Li Jia Yi smiled warmly unlike her public image as she said
"That's your father's favorite tea you can take some with you if needed"
Lu Hong's eyes lid up but quickly dimmed again as she remarked
"Alas, I didn't even know how brew it though"
"Haaahaa, how about I teach you"
Li Jia Yi remarked felling pleased to herself, Lu Hong agreed right away.
"It's a deal, by the way why do you called me over"
"Uh right, what's your relationship with Lin XiXi"
Lu Hong's smile froze as he looked at his mother witha stiff smile as he asked
"What do you mean?"
Li Jia Yi sighed feeling a bit headache as she directly enquired
"Are you guys dating?"
Lu Hong shook his head without any hesitation as he responded
"No, we are just classmates"
Li Jia Yi sighed in relief before explaining
"That's a relief, according to what I found that the moment Lin XiXi's mother learned about the bankruptcy sold her daughter to the Long family for money and flew the country."
Lu Hong's face darkened as he looked at his mom
"Are you saying she had ulterior motive to approach me? "
"Not really, I just want you stay away from their family matters. Theywere far from saving"
Li Jia Yi said dispelling all of the Lu Hong's thoughts, after chatting for a bit Lu Hong departed along with Lin XiXi. Next day, in the military training ground Finance class was running as usual when a figure dressed in Major uniform walked. All the instructors immediately stood in attention: Salute.
Leaving all the students and teachers in a state of bewilderment, only Finance class was running unaware of the circumstances away. The broad figure walked over to the Finance class and stood beside Gong Liu Li as he looked into the distance.
"Isn't that guy pretty good"
Gong Liu Li followed Long Liang Ning's gaze and saw Lu Hong who was running ahead off others without Any signs of sweat or fatigue. Gong Liu Li stood at attention as she saluted as she shouted
"Reporting to the major, yes he is"
"Hmm, won't he make a good soldier. How about recruiting him"
Long Liang Ning proposed his eyes never leaving Lu Hong's figure, Gong Liu Li thought for a moment before saying
"His physical proves was good but we are yet to determine his physical amd will power"
Long Liang Ning didn't respond instead shifted his gaze towards Gong Liu Li asking
"Hmm, aren't you going to stop them. If it keeps up they will collapse"
"Ah, oh yes"
Gong Liu Li only now remembered that the whole class was running for more thanan hour, she blowed an whistle making all the students sigh in relief. As the students gathered all them were puzzled why was there an extra member, but two people in the group were far from puzzled.
Lu Hong standing at the back was confused, puzzled and happy to see his God father. The other person was none other than Lin XiXi she was initially puzzled of why he was dressed in military uniform. Finally realized something as her gaze involuntarily turned towards Lu Hong unable to contain her amusement and intrigue.
Gong Liu Li scanned the group without any expression as she commanded
"Attention Salut, dear students the person infront you was Magor Long Liang Ning. He was here today to inspect your training"
With that Gong Liu Li stepped back letting Long Liang Ning take the charge, Long Liang Ning slowly walked to Lu Hong making him a bit anxious. He paused right in front of Lu Hong asking
"Candidate, would you mind step forward to demonstrate for your classmates. "
"Yes sir"
Lu Hong shouted as he stepped forward and stood in front of the entire finance class. Long Liang Ning not in a hurry slowly walked back as he spoke
"Let me show you the true strength of the soldier really is"
Lu Hong understood what Long Liang Ning wanted to show and felt sorry for himself for being an unfortunate soul, Long Liang Ning walked to the front and patted on the shoulder saying
"Are you ready to show your real skills for all of your classmates"
Lu Hong nodded internally thinking

With that both of them took their fighting stands, Long Liang Ning stood there without making any move. Seeing that Lu Hong lips twitched as he took the initiative to attack, his body shot forward his punch aimingstraight to Long Liang Ning's chest.
Suddenly a smile appeared at the corners of Long Liang Ning's face as he mover his left hand forward trying to grab Lu Hong right hand. Lu Hong swift on his feet retreated his hand and in the next second he appeared behind Long Liang Ning. Long Liang Ning sensing the moment behind him lowered his body slightly as he swiftly delivered a blow, to his dismayhe only punched the air. By the time he turned around Lu Hong's figure was no where to be found.
Before Long Liang Ning could react a punch came crashing on his back,he had no time to evade and took the punch head on his body flew backward. All the onlookers were shocked their mouths agape unable to took a glimpse of Lu Hong's after image. After few minutes of too and forth both of them breathless stood on a standoff, a rare smile appeared on Long Liang Ning's face as he raised his hamd saying
"I give up"
As the words fell in to Lu Hong's ears he dropped on to the floor grasping for breath his body aching nearly exhausted. Long Liang Ning laughed heartily as he tossed a chilled water bottle grinning proudly remarking
"Kid what do you think your old man is impressive right?"
With this words Gong Liu Li on the side furrowed her brow while Bu Zou Ling was taken a back. Lu Hong gave a thumbs up to Long Liang Ning exclaiming.
"You are awesome God Father"
"Hehe, are you interested in joining the army"
Long Liang Ning asked as he revealed a confident smile, Lu Hong shook his head before saying
"You better ask my mom about it, I advice you not to get your hopes up"
Long Liang Ning's smile froze as he let out a bitter laugh waving his hand saying
"Forget it then"
Saying that he face the wide eyed students below and announced.
"This time the top two students from each class will be eligible to enlist into the army although you should under go vigorous training. The studenrs who are interested can also register but you guys should pass the entrance test."
With that he turned around and left the scene as he dragged Lu Hong alone. After walking for a while Long Liang Ning paused and looked around and once he confirmed thatno one was present he addressed Lu Hong
"About that girls matter, I already taken care off. I think your mother already explained about the situation, I am sorry that my family had stirred up such a mess"
He paused amd looked at Lu Hong who nodded in understanding responding
"It was not your fault"
Long Liang Ning nodded thinking a sensible child before adding
"My son was also the same age as you just a year older than you he will be transferring to your school soon. Please take care of him and teach one or two things while you are at it"
Long Liang Ning paused as if gathering his thoughts and continued
"Long Wei will not bother Lin XiXi but we can't help Lin fathers company from going bankrupt."
"It's okay, i don't care by the way God father what kind of business was Lin family was in"
Lu Hong asked wanted to know about the situation, Long Liang Ning pondered for a brief moment before answering
"A Hotel chain business with branches on few famous cities like Imperial capital"
Lu Hong's eyes lid up as he thanked Long Liang Ning
"Thanks uncle, 8t was a huge help"
"Why are you so exatic"
Long Liang Ning pressed a bit puzzled! Lu Hong a bit feeling awkward due to his loss of composure responded.
"Well my company planned to expand our hotel branches neybeyond Magic city and were pondered where to, if Lin's was going bankrupt it will be best if we buy them out right which is cost effective"
Long Liang Ning nodded in realization as he patted Lu Hong shoulder and after exchanging few words Long Liang Ning departure not before exchanging contact info. Returning 5o his dorm he saw his roommates waiting at the door waiting for his.

"He was my God father, he was here to say goodbye. If you ask my how I was so strong I was trained by my father since I was a little and I didn't have any plans of joining military nor do I in the past. Now if you guys are done I should go and take a bath"
Saying that he dashed into bathroom, inside Lu Hong summoned the systemand commanded
