As Silas arrived at the guild, he entered and walked over to Mio
"Hello and welcome-" Mio's eyes widened in slight suprise. "Dear lord and beyond, Silas, What happened to you?"
Clothes half ripped, bruises all across his legs and hands, dishevelled hair that looked like a budget haircut. In less words, Silas was messy. Very messy.
"Oh, when i was fighting the luminurk, an orc appeared and... and..." Before Silas finished he fainted from exhaustion. Mio ran over for support and muttered "Orc?!"
After 2 days, Silas woke up. "Where?" He found himself in a tidy bed, all his wounds now patched up
He tried standing up but it seemed the after-effects of the orc's fight still lingered, as his head spun. He again sat down to process where he was and what happened the other day
"Ugh... I cant even think straight" he said, grabbing the side of his head from pain.
As he did so, Mio walked in with some food and water
"Ah, youre awake?" Asked Mio
"Huh? Oh, yes. What... happened to me?" he asked
"Well... you didnt explain much but" Mio set the food tray down and continued "From what i understood you encountered an orc while fighting luminurk."
"I did?" He asked "Oh right, i did! Now i remember" Silas's memory finally came back "It looked like one of those luminurk but an orc, if that makes sense?"
"Normally i wouldnt have believed you but you brought the orc's ears as proof in a bag, so i understand. Thanks to that orc, you will be rewarded 5 gold coins!"
"5...5 Gold?! Yes! Finally, i have money!" Silas shouted while smiling out of happiness
"Haha, indeed you do" Said Mio while laughing
"Well, i'll leave you to it then, rest for another couple of hours and you'll be as good as new!"
"Alright, thanks Mio!"
"No problem" And so, Mio left the room. Silas inhaled all the food she brought quickly.
5 hours later, Silas woke up from a long nap
"Ugh... Im healed? Must be the effect of some potion or something..." He said as he got up and dressed
He stretched, packed whatever he had, and left the room, heading to Mio at the reception
"Ah, it seems youre okay now" Said Mio as she saw him
"yes, it seems so... though, i dont have my Guild card anywhere?"
"Oh right, sorry about that, i took it to check for damages and rank you up!" Mio said as she handed the card back to Silas
"So... What rank am i? I dont wanna check myself, i wanna be suprised"
"Well, seeing how you defeated an orc, you were placed at C-, ongratulations!" Said Mio
"Wow... Thank you!" Silas said as he looked at his card with pure joy. "Well, I'll be off then, i wanted to check out more of the town you see."
"Exploration, huh? I'd reccomend the museum, althought our town may be small, our museum is something we can be proud of!"
"Museum, huh? Good idea, since i dont know any history, it'd be good to go there. Does it have an entrance fee?"
"it does, but it's only one silver, so no worries" Replied Mio
"I see, well, thanks! Wish me luck"
"bye Silas!" And so, Silas walked towards the museum now marked on his map, intending to learn all the history there was.
(Author's note: Small chapter, i know, its not an actual chapter. Its basically a small chapter to cover the small continuation of what happened earlier. Its also 4 am in the morning as im writing this so yeah, next chapter tommorow and it's guaranteed!)
