Noel felt so guilty when he said that to his old friend. He didn't mean to hurt his feelings, but he just wanted Dalton to realize that he didn't feel the same way about him.
"Don't look at me like that. You're looking at me as if I were the most cruel criminal here. I just want you to know that we don't have the same feelings. And..."
Dalton raised his head, looking at Noel with a pleading and sad gaze. This made the Omega unable to remain silent, and he sighed heavily.
"Alright, then just give me your gift and I'll accept it graciously."
"But I want to sing you a birthday song and watch you blow out the candles! Won't you do that for me too?" asked Dalton sadly.
That request made Noel rub his face in frustration, and he finally accepted the request considering he had no plans for the day.
He and Dalton finally decided to go to a cafe to celebrate Noel's second birthday. He thought going to a cafe would be much better than doing it at home.
