Chapter 8: A new visitor from the Future
90-year-old Dashiell "Dash" Robert Parr (White Lightning): "Sorry to appear on you all of a sudden, but I had to come back to both help you in your training both of you and explain the burden that you will have to face, as well as the outcome of this particular situation, first of all Jack-Jack your plan succeeded despite causing a few changes to the future you knew, but at the same time you saved everyone thanks to what you did, you hardly survived the mission, thanks to the risks both you and my younger self took, not only is the future of Earth peaceful, but the future of the entire Universe was quite a magnificent one, keeping the Universe at peace can take quite a heavy toll on you, but to protect our families and loved ones, it was all worth it, heck, I don't regret making such rush decisions at all, unfortunately, not even that was enough to save you from harm during our final battle, after which I had to retire, loosing you after so many years, it devastated me, I couldn't continue on my own fighting that newer threat, its pawns were too powerful for us, I barely made it out alive, and I lost all of my powers in exchange for bringing us back to Earth, our niece Jasmin found us, once she realized you were dead, she arranged everything for your funeral, sadly, I was in a comma for two years after returning back to Earth, after waking up from the comma, Jasmin explained everything that had happened while I was unconscious, unfortunately 80% of the Universe had fallen under the command of our new nemesis, with no one left to stop him, it became only a matter of time before he took over the entire universe."
As the future version of Dash continued to explain everything to them, they began to head back home to rest, meanwhile, Bob and Helen returned with young Benjamin, Edna, Lucius, and Violet, they still hadn't digested everything that had happened in the last few days, when they saw both young dash and the older version of Jack-Jack, they fainted from the shock,
