In the linn mansion, an exquisite building colored in green hue with a breathtaking decoration, by it was side was a luxurious garden. The sound of wailing oozing out of room was in contrast with the cool energy radiating from the building alone.
Midwives and nurses could be seen rushes in and out of the room. They all seem to be panicking about something.
An elegant man was pacing in front of the room inside the building. A feeling of oppression revolves around him. Each pace ware fused with a dominant force that complies people to show fear.
He looked anxious, his dark hue robe was flowing in the wind, each step he took felt like he was one with the wind with the vital essence rolling round him.
A blonde nurse holding a water basin came out of the room and was stopped by him, "how is she, is the child still not out".
"My Lord, all hands are on deck to assist the milady's childbirth" she bows and walked briskly to fetch water.
Suddenly a shrill cry resounded throughout the mansion followed by a whimper. Drake ran into the room hurrily.
An otherworldly lady soaked up in sweat was lying on the bed. She looked so fragile like a porcelain, it was as if she was easy to be broken.
"Drake, won't you look at him". Drake moved towards her slowly as if he was hesitating to go close to her.
"Won't you hold him" she asked him again as she struggled to sit up.
Drake hurried to assist her in sitting up. Though she looked weak, one could see the fiery determination flowing through her eyes.
"He is a beautiful creature" he said looking stunned at the child. "Freya thank you" Drake said as he hugged her. "You should give him a name you know" she spoke in a low tone. Drake thought for a moment "Let name him Kael.... Kael linn" he laughs loudly.
"kael linn.... It a good name. Em..I thought I will see his growth, but...." She sighed. "What going on, are they here again" he frowns slightly. Drake assisted her as she stood from the bed.
"Hmm they are, and I can't refuse them assomething has happened to my sect".
They both held hands and walked out."Okay, I promise to protect this treasure no matter how dangerous it may seem, but I hope you won't forget about us".
"How can I forget you. I will be leaving tonight as I have already delayed enough. You can enter now". A man and four maiden landed in front of them and bowed "greeting saintess" they said in unison.
"Did you bring what I ask you to bring". The man walked forward and stretch out a jade box to Freya. "Saintess think these through, once you give him there is an 80% chance of him not surviving the immense power contained inside".
"I know that was why I asked for the other thing" she bit her finger and let the blood flow on the box. The box absorbed it and it shone slightly.
"I brought everything you asked for saintess but won't the clan be angry" he asked with a worried look.
She chuckles "if only they see me then and am no longer a saintess anyway" she looked towards the sky and got lost for moment.
"Why saintess are you planning on leaving the sect. Please do not our life are in your hands" the man and the maiden all bowed to the ground with a fearful look. "Everyone has a path to follow even if it leads to death".
"Drake please protect him because he is the only one who can solve this crisis, give it to him when he is old enough" she said as she put the jade box in his hands.
"What crisis Freya. What is going on"
"You don't need to know, just keep him safe" she slowly rose up to the sky with the man and the maidens. "No matter what I will protect him with my life" drake replied as Freya disappeared from the sky.
Drake looked toward the child and the jade box and swore an oath to protect him.
A woman steps out of the shadow and bowed to drake " master what should we do about the others". Drake looked towards her and said "finish them, no one is allowed to know about Freya and the circumstances surrounding the birth of my son".
Those midwives, nurse and servant did not know that today was the last day they will exist in the world.
"Yes master" she steps back into the darkness. Drake looked towards the sky "It going to be a long night you should get prepared".
"Yes sir" whispers were heard in the shadow. Drake held unto the child and walked towards his room.
