Chapter 27 - Quest Clear Report

After being tossed around in the air, Marle was finally allowed back down. The villagers, hunters, and farmers then left the Guild to hold a celebration tonight for the liberation of their village from the month-long terror of the Thunder Wolf. Marle, who was catching her breath and sitting at an empty table, finally began to recount and explain everything to Astrid, who listened with enthusiasm but also amazement.

In the middle of the explanation, the door behind the reception desk suddenly opened. Dash walked out, with Shel and Lilin clinging to his right and left arms, all three looking very satisfied.

"Hey... why did you guys just come out?" Marle yelled, standing up.

"Ah... sorry, the shower took a little longer," Dash replied.

"Yeah... sorry... the sensation is still there," Shel added, blushing and wiggling slightly.

"Me too... my pussy is still throbbing," Lilin added, her face slightly red and rubbing her crotch.

"Grrr... you didn't invite me and you left me here, making everyone misunderstand and making me feel something I didn't want to feel," Marle grumbled angrily.

"Sorry," Shel and Lilin said together.

"They're the ones I was telling you about, Astrid," Marle said, pointing at Dash, Shel, and Lilin as she turned to look at Astrid.

However, Marle was shocked because Astrid looked frozen, staring at Dash, Shel, and Lilin with wide eyes and an open mouth. Seeing Astrid frozen, Marle became furious. She tugged on the cat-beastkin's ear.

"Hey... ASTRID!" Marle yelled right into the cat-beastkin's ear.

"Whuaaa... yes... yes... um... welcome to the Farwood Village Hunter Guild branch," Astrid stammered, startled, and immediately greeted Dash, Shel, and Lilin.

"The one who defeated the Thunder Wolf is named Dash, he's a Dragonkin. Please record it and finalize the quest so we can get the money," Marle said, annoyed.

"First, let me ask, are you and these three in one party?" Astrid asked Marle.

"Yes, why?" Marle asked, folding her arms across her chest and turning to look at Astrid.

"That means it's a party achievement, so the party completed the quest. I'll record the quest now, just a moment," Astrid replied.

Astrid immediately stood up, then walked behind the counter, passing Dash, Shel, and Lilin, who stared at Astrid confusedly. Then Marle walked up to Dash, Shel, and Lilin. She immediately jumped and hugged Dash from the front, embracing him tightly.

"Hey... I haven't had a turn yet," Marle said, frustrated.

"Hmm... not here, though, right?" Dash said.

"Ugh... yeah, after this," Marle replied, stepping back down.

They watched Astrid writing in her report with the Thunder Wolf horn lying on the counter desk. Suddenly, the main Guild door opened. Dash, Shel, Marle, and Lilin turned to look at the door. Their faces immediately dropped when they saw who it was: Garin and his three handsome male friends. Garin, who initially entered with a smirk, was suddenly shocked to see Dash, Shel, Marle, and Lilin. He and his friends immediately walked in to approach them.

"Hey, why are you guys still alive?" Garin asked, confused.

Then Garin glanced up at the counter. His eyes widened when he saw the large, black, lightning-shaped horn lying on the desk. Garin and his friends then looked back at Dash, Marle, Shel, and Lilin.

"Did... did you guys beat the Thunder Wolf?" Garin asked, pale.

"Huh... is that strange?" Dash asked casually.

"What do you want here, Garin?" Marle asked.

"I was asked to deliver a letter by the Guild Master," Garin replied, pulling a letter from his pocket, placing it on the desk, and sliding it toward Astrid.

"The Master sent letters to three villages around Golddale City and to the main Guild in Golddale City," his friend added.

"Oh, is that right... okay, now leave," Marle said.

"Huh... what's with that attitude of yours—"

Before Garin could finish speaking, he felt someone staring intensely at him. He turned to see Lilin looking right at him, smiling—but it wasn't a regular smile; it was a smile that suggested she was thinking about exactly what she wanted to do to Garin for speaking rudely to Marle.

Garin immediately swallowed his words and turned to look at Astrid, who was reading the letter. After reading it, Astrid folded the letter back up, then turned to look at Marle, Dash, Shel, and Lilin.

"It seems the receptionist in Forshville City gave you the wrong quest, but since the mission is complete, I will write a reply corresponding to what happened. I'll also state that I have received proof that the Thunder Wolf has been defeated. Please wait a moment, I need to write the reply," Astrid said to Dash, Marle, Shel, and Lilin.

"Oh... so Helen gave us the wrong mission, huh?" Dash asked.

"But since we managed to pull it off... or more accurately, you did, Dash, we should still get paid," Marle replied.

"W-what? You guys actually beat the Thunder Wolf? You're only Rank F... even with Marle being Rank A, it shouldn't be possible, especially with only four of you," Garin stammered.

Marle picked up the horn from the receptionist desk and held it up right in front of the faces of Garin and his friends, all of whom gasped in shock.

"This is the proof," Marle said, holding the horn.

"Uuuh... I don't believe it... I don't believe it at all," Garin muttered, annoyed and feeling his pride shatter from losing to a Rank F.

"So what are you gonna do about it?" Marle asked, challenging him with a smirk, standing with her hands on her hips and holding the horn.

Suddenly, Garin drew his sword and brandished it right in front of Dash's face, making Dash's eyes widen slightly. His three friends also immediately drew their respective weapons.

"Fight me! There's no way I'm losing to a Rank F!" Garin yelled, full of emotion.

Dash lifted his finger and nudged Garin's sword aside. Then he stared at Garin with a sharp gaze. Garin flinched but maintained his threatening posture, though his expression had shifted slightly toward fear.

"I don't feel like fighting you," Dash said.

"What... don't joke around... I won't stop until you...."

Before Garin could finish speaking, suddenly, "Clang... clang... clang," the four men's weapons fell to the floor. They froze instantly and fell silent. Dash turned to see Lilin smirking, her eyes glowing pink and emitting a heart symbol in her pupils.

"You guys should fight each other instead. Go on, start now, just use your fists, okay?" Lilin said.

"Yes, mistress," Garin and his three friends answered.

The four men immediately turned to face each other and began punching each other's faces in turn with pretty hard blows. Dash folded his arms across his chest and smirked, as did Shel, Marle, and Lilin, who grinned watching them.

Over time, their handsome faces became covered in blood, bruises, and blue welts from being continuously hammered. Some of their teeth even fell out. Finally, after the girls were satisfied watching and the four men were slumped, kneeling on the floor, "Ctak," Lilin snapped her fingers, releasing them from the spell.

"Aaaaaah," Garin and his friends immediately screamed in pain, reflexively clutching their faces, which looked swollen like they'd just stuck their heads in a beehive. And, of course, they weren't handsome anymore since their teeth were gone.

They immediately helped each other stand up, grabbed their weapons, and ran out of the Guild, leaving behind trails of blood and scattered teeth on the floor. Dash, Shel, Marle, and Lilin burst into laughter watching them. Then Astrid, who had finished writing the letter, came out from the back. She looked confused seeing Garin and his friends leave.

"Wait, where did they go? I was going to ask them to deliver the reply letter. Oh well, I'll just ask a hunter here. Wait a moment, okay?" Astrid said, walking out from behind the counter and heading toward the Guild exit door.

"Okay, we'll wait," Dash replied, still laughing.

Then they all sat down at a table to relax. Marle immediately kissed Dash passionately as she sat down. After letting go,

"This is enough for now, but next time, I'm asking for several rounds, okay?" Marle said, smiling.

"Okay, okay," Dash replied, stroking Marle's head, which made her tail wag immediately.
