The two didn't know if their new guests were hostile or not so they looked at eachother and without even saying a word they knew what they had to do.
Ryan being the close range fighter walked up to talk with the visitors and Jack loaded his bow just incase of a confrontation.
When Ryan got close he asked one of the farmers,Sofie,a short girl with warm brown eyes that looked like they were always smiling. Her hair was tied into a messy bun with a few strands falling over her cheeks, giving her a gentle, friendly look what was going on
"Two new players showed up and we don't know if we should accept them or not" Sofie awkwardly smiled trying not to be rude.
Ryan looked at the players and then the villagers and then at jack who was wondering what was going on.
Then one of the builders finally spoke up
"Why don't you decide Ryan, since you look like you could do a good job!"
Ryan looked at him and spoke "So you guys want to accept the two but you're scared that they could be bad people so you're forcing me to decide so that when they do turn out to be bad people you can just pin the blame on me?"
"Precisely" the builder said with a glisten in his eyes
Ryan sighed and looked at the two.
" So...what job class are you two?" Ryan asked
The one guy was tall, broad-shouldered and his skin was slightly tanned with his hair short and messy, and his eyes amber red responded "I'm a blacksmith, this allows me to create stone weapons and if my class evolves I could even create iron or even much better weapons and armour or even accessories"
Ryan's eyes widened (No matter how much we would hone our skills if we happened to face an adversary with much better gear,we would undoubtedly be outmatched so having a blacksmith on the team would be extremely helpful.) he thought
Ryan smiled and said "And you?" To the other guy who looked nervous.
"Well uhm,I don't have a useful class like a blacksmith but uhm,the class that I have is troll and uhm,it's supposed to be a combat class but I don't know what it does yet." He said nervously
Ryan stared at him for a moment
He was shorter than the blacksmith and had a lankier build, like someone who hadn't fully grown into his body yet. His hair was a wild mess of curls sticking out in every direction, giving him a slightly chaotic look that somehow matched his class. His greenish-hazel eyes darted around anxiously, as if he expected everyone to laugh at him at any moment.
His posture was unsure, his shoulders slightly hunched, and he kept fidgeting with his fingers. But despite his nervousness, there was something oddly sharp about him, like he noticed everything, even when he pretended not to. His clothes were simple and a bit mismatched, making him look like someone who acted first and thought later.
He wasn't intimidating.
He wasn't confident.
But he definitely stood out, the kind of player who might be underestimated, until you see what he can really do.
Ryan smiled at him "That's okay.We just have to train you extra hard to unlock all of your potential. Are you up for it though?" Ryan asked
"Yes" the boy said nervously
"I'm Ryan" he said shaking the boys hand,"Jamie" the boy responded.
He then shook the blacksmiths hand
"Sorro" the blacksmith said.
Ryan then looked at the villagers and spoke "okay guys,we have new members now and we will continue to get new members. We can't be advancing so slow so if It's okay can we all pick up the pace and get as much done as we can?"
The players looked at Ryan and nodded and then jack joined the bunch
"So what do you mean?" Jack asked
"We have a blacksmith now so we need to build a forge so that we can improve our gear and equipment, this will allow us to work better.Builders I apologise for putting more strain on you but we need more houses and buildings.Miners just keep on mining but try and find ores if you can whether it is iron, lead, copper, anything is good and farmers....just keep on supplying us food.Me and the other combat classes will continue to train hard to be able to defend this village as we don't know whether all those who come to our village will be hostile or not.Is everyone okay with that?" Ryan asked
Everyone nodded and got back to their tasks
That night they all sat around a campfire and ate the crops that the farmers had harvested and then Jamie approached Ryan
" So when do we start training?" Jamie asked awkwardly
" Tomorrow morning" Ryan responded
" Be sure to rest well because we won't have time to rest tomorrow" Ryan added
Jamie nodded and everyone went back to their houses to prepare for the next day as they will be much busier.
Ryan looked up at the night sky. Tomorrow, everything would be much busier and it will keep on getting busy from now on.
"I can't wait!" Ryan said as he walked into his house.
