Hello, author here.
While I was working on Chapter 10: Eridius's Mission for my other novel [Project Moon: Survive the city isn't easy] (the chapter is completed), a friend and I somehow wandered off-topic and ended up brainstorming this ridiculous idea. Now I'm seriously considering turning it into either a fanfic or an original story.
[Premise]
One soul.
Two bodies.
One body is reincarnated into a fantasy world filled with magic, monsters, and war. Maybe he's a dwarf, an orc, or another non-human race.
The other remains an ordinary human teenager...
...except he's been abducted by aliens and placed in an interstellar zoo as an "Earth Fauna" exhibit.
Every day, one body struggles to survive monsters and magic while the other constantly invents increasingly absurd escape plans.
[Body 2 – The Zoo]
[Alien Student #1]: Professor... he escaped again.
[Alien Professor]: Again?
[Alien Student #1]: This is the thirteenth time. He somehow consumed most of the artificial ecosystem we built for him and used everything else to construct tools for another escape attempt. We followed every guideline from our research regarding the dietary needs of his species.
[MC]: Your research sucks. You don't feed me enough.
[Alien Scientist]: ...You have learned our language.
[MC]: I've been trapped here for three months. I'd be disappointed in myself if I hadn't learned something.
[Alien Scientist]: According to our data, humans are capable of surviving on instant noodles and caffeinated beverages for up to seven consecutive days. Why do you require additional food?
[MC]: ...You mean the week before my college finals? You kidnapped a broke university student who was living on cup noodles and energy drinks, then assumed that was the optimal human diet? That's the dumbest scientific conclusion I've ever heard.
[Alien Students]: ...
[MC]: And another thing. You stripped me naked, threw me into an enclosure full of animals that could actually kill me, and expected me to stay calm?
[Alien Students]: ...
[MC]: Then you locked a hyperactive primate in a giant cage with nothing to do. Of course I'm going to escape.
[Alien Scientist]: ...That... does explain several things.
[MC]: Oh, and by the way... Your ventilation system belongs to the wolves now.
[Alien Scientists & Students]:...What?
[Body 1 – The Fantasy World]
[MC]: HOW MANY FIREBALLS DOES IT TAKE TO KILL THIS THING?!
[Abomination]: Heh... I'm resistant to fire.
[MC]:...I miss the zoo. At least the aliens only experimented on me. Somebody send this body there as well.
[So how is it]
