After finishing his cooldown, Jin Yang headed straight for the shower.
Lin Dong, left to his own devices, wandered into the kitchen in search of food. As expected, everything inside screamed celebrity diet. Lean proteins. Low sodium. Zero joy. He stared at the neatly arranged "healthy" options with a long-suffering sigh.
In the end, he grabbed a packet of dried squid and shuffled to the living room, flopping onto the couch and turning on the TV.
A while later, Jin Yang emerged from the hallway. His hair was still damp, loose strands clinging to his forehead. He walked into the kitchen and began cooking with practiced ease.
"Want eggs?" he called out.
"Yes!" Lin Dong instantly abandoned the dried squid and sprinted back to the kitchen.
Within minutes, Jin Yang had prepared omelettes. He slid two onto Lin Dong's plate and kept one for himself, pairing it with a neatly sliced ripe avocado. Lin Dong didn't bother with pleasantries and dug in immediately.
