"Before we begin, you girls all need to try this"
Leon brought out a platter of sushi to the table. Since this was his dream, it was already in the fridge the moment he thought of it.
Around the table sat Celestine, Valeria, Tsukihi, Rika and Maria. Each of them in a unique version of a school girl outfit that belonged to the stereotypical trope they were assigned by Maria. The only exception being Tsukihi who changed her outfit to a kitty cat bikini and paws gloves and boots.
"Is now really the time for this, Farm boy?... ALSO, this is raw!"
"It's supposed to be raw. This is sushi, raw fish that's safe to eat raw. I'm pretty sure they prepared it in some way to make it safe... Though, I never looked into it."
"So you don't even know why it's safe!"
"Just eat it, this is a dream so what does it matter?"
Tsukihi had already begun eating, she had seen every type and knew their flavor from Leon's memories. Rika and Valeria picked at the raw fish, while Maria didn't seem interested at all. Celestine was the first one to try it.
"It's very good! Fish is quite rare in Jeif'he, usually when cooked it's flakey. But this has a completely different texture."
"I know right!"
"Oh Celestine you should try it with soy sauce and wasabi, Leon doesn't like it with them but I think it does taste better."
Leon looked over at Tsukihi confused.
"This is your first time trying it!?"
"Well yes and no. I have your memories of trying with and without."
"I guess at some point I did try it with..."
Tuskihi having access to every memory I ever had should is definitely something...
He looked at Kistune happily eating sushi in the kitty cat bikini, the revealing outfit she had changed into just for him. His cheeks started to turn red.
Then again, she is my loving fiance despite knowing everything there is to know about me. That's really nice....
His cheeks stop being red.
Including this very thought the next time she eats my memories. Hi future Tuskihi, don't let this get to your head.
"Alright Farm boy, it's not bad...ok!"
"Yeah I really like this red fish!"
"Huh? Oh yeah, I told you so! And Valeria, that one is Salmon, it's my favorite too!"
"Alright alright! Enough about food, we need to talk about the Mare who is currently eating Farm boy and trapping us all in here."
Everyone looked at Maria, who just started back blankly.
"Huh?"
"What do you mean 'huh'?! You're eating Farm boy right now as we dream."
"No I'm not, I'm full."
"Then why are we still dreaming?"
"I don't want to wake up. Pillow is the ultimate pillow. We can sleep forever with him!!!"
"You can't stay forever asleep! The rest of us will starve in here."
"Well that's not my fault, I didn't invite you. ALSO, I had to walk really far to find Pillow! I did all that so I would not have to wake up again!"
Leon interrupted Rika and Maria.
"Quick question, Maria, you're a demon of Sloth right? So how does this dream world work?"
"I'm not too sure...this is my first time eating a human... ALSO I was chasing you really hard! But no matter how fast I ran I could never catch you. I got full just doing that, so I made this place from your dreams so you don't fall asleep."
Wait!? How is this her first time eating a human if she's a demon? Was she turned like Celestine? Do Mare have a passive starvation mode like Kistunes?
"Wife number 3, why can't you just eat him then sleep on a bed?"
Tsukihi cut into the conversion as Leon got side tracked by his thoughts. Only for her to be immediately called out by Celestinea and Valeria.
"Tsukihi, she's not wife number 3. She's a demon who hunted down Leon as food, not to be his wife."
"Sorry Tsukihi, but Celestine is probably right, we don't know if we can trust her or what she's saying"
Tuskihi looked over at Maria.
"Hmmmm, wife number 3, do you want to marry Leon?"
"Do I have to do anything?"
"Well you need to give him your first kiss but then you can be with him forever!"
"Ok."
"Tsukihi!"
"Becoming eternally vowed isn't that simple!"
"You three please stop!..."
Rika faced palm as she quieted the three girls.
"Maria, what do you want from Farm boy."
"With Pillow, I can sleep forever."
"Did you know about his vitality? Could you sense or smell it? Did you just come across him by chance?"
"I heard about Pillow at some boring captain's meeting that Zeze always drags me to. I was about to fall asleep when..."
"Captain's meeting!? Who's Zeze? Also what are you captain of? And under who?"
"Nick... something? I don't know. Zeze is also a captain and she always drags me to meetings. I used to resist but it was too much effort. I can just sleep at the meeting and then she brings me back."
"Nykthos? You're a captain in Nykthos' army?"
The room was quiet with a heavy tension, except for Maria.
"Yes...? I was brought to some meeting one day, and I was told I was going to be captain of the Mare, but I fell asleep during that meeting too... Since then Zeze has been dragging me to meetings all the time."
"Yeah she's a demon of sloth alright."
"Really Farm boy! You do realize that means she's part of Nykthos' army! And that she's at the very least as strong as Estakocra!"
Leon looked at Maria.
"Maria, how strong are you?"
Maira puffed up her chest proudly.
"I'm the strongest of the Mare. I have an ultimatum move! If I pick a direction, I can walk there... WHILE SLEEPING! It's not as good as sleeping while laying down but it's better than walking while awake."
"Yeah. I'm somehow less worried… Rika is she lying?"
"It's a dream so I can't say for sure. But it doesn't look like it... Still though. We can't trust her."
Valeria and Celestine joined in on the conversion.
"Hey wait, we're really far away from Nykthos' territory? The fight with the Imp was only a few days ago. How did she get her so fast?"
"Not to mention that the Captains had a meeting about Leon… though that was likely a given."
"Good points. Maria, how did you get here so fast? Also what else did they discuss about me?"
"Once I heard about a pillow that never ends, I used my ultimate skin!... Also, I left during the meeting so don't know what else they said."
"So you just got up and left during a meeting with all the captains of Nykthos' army?!"
"Yes."
"And no one tried to stop you?!"
"... maybe? I don't know, I was asleep."
"So do they think you're here to kill me? Do they think you have betrayed them? Are you still working for Nykthos"
"...I don't know."
I don't know why the first demon king made races based on the 7 deadly sins. Maybe they were just trying to be edgy, but happy they lost because it was the stupidest idea they could have had!!!
"Maria, you can't be wife number 3 unless you quit being a captain and betray Nykthos."
"Do I have to do anything to quit?"
"Just be loyal to Leon as his wife."
"Ok, I quit."
Leon stood up and walked behind Maria. He grabbed her head and began shaking it.
Is there anything in here?!
"Woah, woah, woah, I didn't do anything."
"Thats's the point."
"...Oh yeah I had to kiss you right?"
"No!"
"No!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
Of course Tsukihi yells 'yes'.
"Alright we can discuss. Nykthos and everything else later. Since you're done eating, let's wake up."
"NO!"
Maria's tone had shifted. There was one thing the demon captain was serious about, and that was sleeping.
