Bryan's POV
I started seeing Lucas every Saturday and bringing him to our house so he could meet his siblings. Emma and Antonio were confused at first but they adjusted quickly.
Alice was supportive, but I could tell this was hard on her. One night after I'd put all the kids to bed, I found her in our bathroom crying.
"Alice what's wrong?" I asked.
"I just keep thinking about how Rebecca got to have your baby, and I almost lost Hope," Alice said. "Bryan, it's not fair."
"I know it's not fair," I said pulling her close. "Alice, I wish I could change what Rebecca did, but I can't."
"I'm not asking you to change it," Alice said. "Bryan, I just need you to understand how hard this is for me."
"I do understand," I said. "And Alice, if you need me to stop seeing Lucas I will."
"No," Alice said immediately. "Bryan that baby deserves to know his father. I just need some time to adjust."
