Earth is long gone. The remnants of humanity, now the ruthless, AI-driven Civilization II, roam the cosmos on space stations, fueling their Stellar-scale ambition to ascend to Civilization III by mercilessly draining the energy of every planet and star they encounter, inevitably collapsing worlds and stars into black holes and destroying. This post-Earth society is rigidly stratified, blending advanced science with a discovered magical power system: Superiors: Half-human, half-AI entities (Terras, Gigas, Megas) who live in space, suppress emotion, and wield power based on their mental AI percentage. Humans: Unpowered slaves treated as expendable labor. Stellars: Emotionally intact humans who live on planet surfaces and possess unique, powerful land-based magical and scientific abilities. The story centers on the eternal, losing war between the dominant, destructive Superiors and the planetary-based Stellars. The Stellars are led by Zen Leo, an enigmatic and supremely powerful figure whose magical energy is legendary. Though his strength commands respect, Zen secretly harbors a conviction to end the war, a desire that directly conflicts with his duty as the Stellars' general. This internal struggle is complicated by Zen’s hidden, treasonous friendships within both the Superior and Human ranks, making him the only person capable of either uniting the factions or ensuring their mutual annihilation.
