Chapter 1 - The Divine World Tree (Prologue)

Once upon a time, at the center of a disk-shaped world so vast it defied comprehension stood the Divine World Tree, a tree that held all the sources of power in the world. It stood as a gift to all living beings, its light touching every corner of existence. Anyone was able to access its power through the fruit of the Divine Tree, for whoever consumed it could do anything and everything they desired.

But power without restriction always comes with a price. Many sought it for selfish desires, and from their greed, chaos was born. Peace became fragile as delicate as a flower trembling before a raging storm.

Ages passed, and the same story repeated itself again and again. A cycle of creation and destruction that seemed endless. Until one day, a group of races grew weary of the turmoil. They stepped forward, determined to seize control of the Divine Tree and end the chaos. The leaders among them would one day be known as The Great Gods, beings who sought to bring peace and order to the chaotic world.

Many races revered and followed them… yet not all hearts were loyal. Some despised the idea of being ruled. And so, war erupted a war that consumed everything in its path. It was a war to decide which race was supreme, which race was destined to rule above all others.

This battle would later be remembered as the War of Supremacy.

Countless lives were lost on both sides. The screams of the fallen echoed across the broken skies. Many of the Great Gods' enemies were sealed away in towering prisons structures that would later be known as the Genesis Towers. When the War of Supremacy finally ended, nothing was left. The once-living world had turned into ruin silent, empty, and no longer fit to be called a home.

Refusing to let the world fade into oblivion, they created a new world, one separated from the ashes of the old world. They created three great ringed continents surrounding the same Divine World Tree lands that would be known as the Outer, Middle, and Inner Continents.

As the new lands took form, new races were born some inspired by the remnants of the old world.

Those who lived in the Inner Continent were the races that once stood beside the Great Gods, blessed with power beyond mortal reach.

The Middle Continent became home to the races that had remained neutral during the war, their traits strong and their abilities balanced.

And the Outer Continent was given to those who had once opposed the Great Gods; their powers were diminished, some stripped away entirely.

This divine order was meant to preserve peace and balance for eternity. Yet even so, the Great Gods refused to let the shadow of the past decide the worth of the present. They did not wish to forsake the Middle nor the Outer Continents for the sins of their ancestors.

And so, they founded the Adventurer Association an institution approved by the gods themselves, created so that anyone, regardless of race or origin, could rise above fate… and prove their worth.

But even under the silent watch of the Great Gods, there are those who move in hidden corners, unseen by any gaze. As long as the forbidden knowledge of the old world survives, the Divine Tree's existence can never be fully hidden… and the past will continue to haunt the present, carried by those who dare to dream, whose hearts refuse to forget, what the world has forgotten.
