Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 Reaching the academy

 .

"God, why is it only me who has no blessings from you?" The one lamenting was none other than Rudra. You might think this fool is whining, but in truth, he is the only person on Earth without a divine blessing.

"Aah… Who the hell was that?"

"Stop daydreaming and pay attention to your surroundings, you fucking idiot."

"Who the fuck hits their childhood friend like that?"

The one who smacked him was his childhood companion, Sammy. They had known each other since the earliest days.

"What are you spacing out for, Rony? We're going to be fucking late for the academy."

"…Fuck, run you idiot."

It is the year 2147. Humanity had advanced in every sector, making life easier in countless ways. Yet, as the saying goes—nothing in life is truly easy. For the past century, mysterious beings known as Asuras (demons) had appeared on Earth, slaughtering humans relentlessly. The population dwindled to just 3 billion. In response, the survivors united to form a single nation known as the Mainland.

Enough of the backstory—let's return to the present.

"Well, what was the name of the academy again?" Rudra asked.

"…"

"Remind me again—how old are you?"

"Sixteen."

"Then how in the hell did you forget the academy's name, huuuuhhhhhhh!!!!!"

"…"

"Phuuuuu… Okay, listen carefully. I'm saying this for the last time—the academy is called Gurukul."

"Hey, it's not like I want to go. The government forces us to attend."

"Never mind. Whenever I talk to this idiot, I feel like I'm the one losing my mind."

"Love you."

"Piss off. We're already ten minutes late."

"Let's run then 🤭," said Rudra

"Thanks for telling me."

They sprinted for another five minutes, and after fifteen minutes in total, they finally reached the gates of Gurukul Academy.

"Finally… we made it," Sammy said, breathing heavily.

"Let's go!" Rudra replied with a bright smile

The academy's iron gates loomed above, casting long shadows across the stone path. Just as they stepped forward, she appeared—an ethereal figure whose presence seemed to halt the world itself. Her midnight-black hair flowed like silk, shimmering under the lantern light

But it was her eyes that truly held you captive—brilliant blue, clear as a summer sky yet piercing as ice. They locked onto yours with quiet authority, freezing you in place. Every boy on campus had already been watching her, but now her gaze was fixed solely on Rohan, and it felt as though he stood under a spell.

Her beauty was undeniable, but it was more than that. The way she carried herself—graceful yet immovable—made her seem like the academy's true guardian. The gate was no longer just an entrance; it had become a threshold, and she was the one who decided who could cross.

Her voice, calm yet edged with mystery, broke the silence: "Why are you two so late?"

"Sorry, we had to run because someone couldn't get out of his room on time," Sammy said, pointing at Rudra.

"Where do you live?" the girl asked sternly.

"Sector One," Rudra muttered, hiding his flustered face.

"You realize you could have taken the train? It would have only taken ten minutes to get here."

"…"

"…"

"Mother******," both said at the same time, glaring at each other".
