"Wow, you look … different," Rain smiles and bumps his shoulder to Day, who only huffs out a fine laugh.
"Different how?"
"I don't know," Rain looks up at the trees hugging the small dirt road they are on, leading to the stream downhill. "brighter, more smiling than I have ever seen you have … you look happier."
"Oh," Day looks down, suddenly blushing. He has been smiling a whole lot these past few days. His cheeks seem to be perpetually stuck in a smile, it seems. "I suppose I am."
"Suppose?" Rain snorts. "You reek of happiness. It's like jasmine flowers opened up, and it's daytime, which just makes the whole place smell so delicious; it should be sinful."
That stops him from walking and looking at the rain, frowning. "What are you talking about?"
Rain freezes and looks at him with wide eyes. "What do you mean?"
