Shen Li once again set his gaze upon Shen Tang's face. He hadn't seriously looked at the woman in front of him for a long time and only now did he realize that the pimples on her face seemed fewer. It seemed like she had lost a bit of weight, though he wasn't sure if it was just his imagination.
He noticed her cheeks were slightly red and swollen and asked, "What happened to your face?"
Shen Tang thought he was asking about the pimples and casually came up with a reason, "I went to see a doctor in the city and bought some ointment. It's quite effective."
"That's not it." Shen Li touched her face with his finger and felt the swollen, red area. Shen Tang winced in pain. Her face had swollen like a steamed bun, looking even uglier.
Shen Li resisted the urge to look away and spoke indifferently, "How did this happen here?"
