I was in the backyard river , half naked taking a shower . My wavy black hair was wet all over and I rubbed the abs I had gotten from these 5 years of hardwork . But...was this enough? Shouldn't I get stronger ? ...such thoughts kept me awake . The night was cruel indeed , it was freezing cold and dusky . And the moon..the moon was simply mesmerizing . Yes ! I love this type of a night.
But even such a simply lovable night has its own drawbacks..there's a lot of things that make me wanna hate even such a good night . But..which came first ? Love or hate ?
Well as this thoughts kept me awake I had to wake up from this thoughts as well . A familiar voice did the work .
' Brother ! ' he called out to me . His blonde hair was just like that of moms and those eyes as well were the same as mine . CRIMSON . He was just 10 years old while I was 21 .
'Be careful '
I rushed to his side in case he may trip or fall. He looked at me , his eyes were like that of a puppy's .
' I heard from mom..that you're gonna leave tonight .'
' yes '.
' there's something I wanna show you .'
' Follow me '.
' What?..okay '.
I walked behind him . My brother , Julius Alhemaht was like a philomath . He loved learning . Especially about medicinal plants .
' Brother '
' Yeah.'
' When can I see you again ? '
' .... '
I hesitated . It wasn't a question I know the answer to nor was it something I could answer .
' Here! We're here ! '
He exclaimed as we reached the other side of the backyard . My house was small but its backyard was quite large . He had filled there with medicinal plants and herbs . He was a hardcore rhizodomist .
' So you love medicinal plants ? '
' Yes ! I love collecting and taking care of them . Its fun learning about them . Well , mom is worried I might get affected by the toxins in some of this . So , I created this little hideout of mine as no one else comes here . Brother , let's keep this as our little secret .'
I nodded and patted him on the head .
' Still..be careful while interacting with toxins . They can be harmful .'
He nodded cheerfully and smiled brightly at me .
He is almost ten. Humans who haven't lied even after the age of 10 would acquire a magical element . My element is Ice , one of the strongest element . There are 10 elements all together . Water , Fire , Earth , Ice , Healing , Sound , Sun , Wind , strength and the last being the most rarest element , Control.
Control was given once in 15 years . It was also seen as the most powerful element as the user was able to control anything not only living organisms , but space , weather and time can also be controlled with years of training . But , Control too has its own drawbacks , whoever acquires this element is bound to have a lesser life span because they are most likely to be under the curse of deception . Control is an element that is to be used carefully , If used wrongly the user will be under The Curse Of Deception .
..Its time. I wore my usual clothes . I was about to open the door , then someone else opened it from the outside . Well I know who opened it .
' Son , I heard from your mom that you're departing . '
' Yes .'
It was my father . He was smiling as if his life was all smoothly going , while in fact he had the worst of life . His hair had the same color as mine , but it was long . He had yellowish eyes which none of his kids inherited . His tiny moustache was the only proof that showed he was an old man . He had slightly masculine body . His skin was pale too and it was a match for his features . I prefer tanned skin though . Well..I don't wanna get too much into the details .
' Son ?...Son! .'
' Oh! Yes..? '
Guess I was lost in thought .
' What's it father ? '
He took some coins from his pocket .
' Take this and eat something nice on your way.'
' ..No need . I have enough money with me .'
I just hope he won't ask how I got my money .
' Mm..okay . Have a safe journey , My son .'
I nodded and walked away from the place that was a silent home to me . I could feel the worry in the gaze my mom was giving off and my brother had already slept . As I walked and my home seemed further away . I had reached the town . I went straight into 'Swords & Masters ' .
An old man , who was prolly the owner greeted me .
' Ho..Ho..You must be Brian Alhemaht .'
' Yeah '.
' What type of a sword do you want ? Normal ones or the ones specifically made for each element ? Which is your element ? '
' Ice .'
' That's quite the element you got there .'
He took me to a room . In there , It felt as if I was standing in a snow- field filled with the variety of ice swords . But what piqued my interest was a sword that didn't resemble ice magic .
I pointed towards it .
' That's quite the taste you got there .'
That sword gave off the aura of flames that were rushing outta a dragons mouth and the waves of oceans that could easily drown anyone in its depth .
' That one surely is an old sword . I haven't seen anyone take interest in it for decades . When it was bought here , everyobe thought it was a fire or water sword but then fire users and water users tried to weild it bit it was futile . In the end , a ice user tried and it worked . But he didnt take the sword with him . I wonder why ? Anyway , you want this right ? .'
' Yes. I want this sword .'
I was about to ask him the price . But then..
' Sir Yogers already paid for this sword . You can just take it .'
Ah..well I guess that old man is too sharp after all . I took the sword and walked away from the lights that had illuminated that shop.
