Alex wakes up weakly in a moving wagon still dazzed and disoriented as he tried to force his self to stay awake.
In front of him he sees what looked like a young boy of at least 17 years old with a gloomy expression written all over his face.
He tried to move his hand in an attempt to scratch his itching- confused head.
Suddenly he heard what sounded like chains clashing, he slowly looked at his hands and saw that he was chained alongside the person opposite him.
Immediately his brain turned on as he realized he was captured, he assumed it would probably be by the strangers he heard earlier.
"WAIT!... did he really reincarnate me as a slave,I thought I was going to be some kind of demon Lord or something powerful at least ,not a slave".
Alex still stays calm and relaxed then he tries to break out of his chains to no avail.
"What the heck!...am I really that weak... I can't even break this STUPID CHAINS!".
The young boy in front of him looks up to him with signs of confusion on his face as he precieved Alex was in distress.
"Are you okay sir?".
Alex stunned by the respectful tone the young boy used to address him, in his mind he thought why the boy address him sir as he believed they should be around the same age group.
Alex not aware that he took the appearance of a young-man of about 20 but he was pale and skinny due to starvation and lack sleep.
Then Alex cooked up a plan,
"Actually I'm not,I seem to be unable to recall any of my memories".
The stranger looked at him with a now concerned expression"At least can you remember your name or race?".
Alex looked at him"No...all I can remember is my name and nothing else".
The stranger takes a survey of Alex still suspicious.
"Well I'm sorry for people like you cause it's going to be like you were born into slavery".
Alex looked at the stranger please explain.
The stranger hesitated at first before saying,
"Okay... this is the hybrid realm but the beast took over,so now we work,eat and live only too serve our superiors the beast".
His expression changes to grieve,
"You see in this realm ...when you are born a hybrid all you do is work and suffer and soon you die alongside your dreams and wishes, that is the cruel reality all hybrids face".
Alex gazed upon the young boy who was now swimming in a pool of melancholy.
"We just have to survi..."
Before he could finish one of the guards riding on a horse in the front, with a deep voice interrupted him.
"HEY... YOU FILTY HYBRID...do yourself a favor and shut the crap up before I use my fist to punch a hole in YOUR FACE".
The guards at the left whose voice came out softer but with a hint of worry.
"I think we should forget about them right now and focus on the bigger problem".
The guards at the right with a deep rough voice appeared baffled.
"WHY!"
The guard on the left continued"well... the fact that this slaves are for the king and last time we caught alot of hybrids for him but today we only ended up capturing two mere slaves".
Alex furious at the thought of being called a mere slave.
"I bet if I was free right now I would show you who is a mere slave!".he said within his self.
The guards resumed their journey,soon Alex noticed a mark that was on designed in the form of a galaxy on the strangers neck.
"Hey...psss what's your name".
The young boy took a good look at alex,
"Well... I guess it won't hurt anyone.. it's sage".
Then Alex whispered,
"What...those that mark on your neck mean".
Sage gobsmacked at the question Alex asked,
"Now I know for sure you truly lost your memories, this marks you see are divine birth marks, every creature under the supervision of the gods as long as you were born in this universe has this mark but the Devil is in charge of marking all night creepers and demons born in this world,If we manage to get to our prison cells alive I will tell you more".
Alex baffled by what he meant by "Alive!".
Just as they were getting closer,a strange powerful force caused the ground to shack violently.
The two guards began breathing and sweating uncontrollable. The unfriendly guard then sits up"no..no...Noo i don't wanna
die we have to pick up the pace before he catches up with us".
Immediately,they increased their pace on a tremendous rate.
Alex wondered what kind of beast would be causing this terrifying scene.
Some moments after, they heard a mysterious voice from within the forest.
The mysterious voice scoffs,
"Tsk..Taste my WIND...SHREDDER".
Within a instant a absolutely terrifying amount of wind gushed out from the location we're the voice was heard.
The wind was so powerful it sliced and blew away all the trees in its path and fortunately for Alex and his partner the magical wind sliced the horses and guards mounted on it into pieces.
The wagon came crashing down with great force and Alex acquired some fatal injuries on his arm while sage passed out.
Alex covered his open wounds and tried to get up,soon he noticed his wounds were slowly healing and closing up .
"This is what I'm talking about,I actually have
regeneration ..um..I think I will call it DARK REJUVENATION".
Just as he was about to leave,he looked at the passed out sage on the ground "um.. I think I might still need him".
Just as he was about to leave,he heard foot steps coming from the forest.
"Damnit! his coming this way,if so then he should get ready to fight to the death".
His attention is then drawn to the amount guards approaching him before he could move with sage they are surrounded and apprehended him and sage.
The guards Immediately rushed Alex towards the kingdom gate in other to avoid getting attacked.
They were both presented in front of a muscular man with a cold expression on a throne,Alex depicted he was the king.
Then a loud voice said
"ALL HAIL THE GREAT AND POWERFUL LION KING MAGNUS PRIDE".
By this time sage was awake and he hurriedly knelt on both knees and placed his head on the ground.
Alex still bewildered slowly knelt down on one knee.
The Man with a unfriendly face beside the king was a general and he noticed Alex action.
The general walked towards Alex, "what is your name child".
Alex waits and says to his self, "let's start a new leaf" .Then he looks at the general, "MY NAME IS LIGHT".
The general reveals a menacing gaze upon light "so you can understand English".
Immediately the man slapped light so hard he flew out of the palace and smashed into a building.
The general in a deep voice"Next time you knell down on both knees you slum rat.
Alex stands with his body covered with cuts and wounds and his face bathed with blood.
Then he said in a low-furious tone
"THAT'S IT!".
