Chapter 2 - 2

His eyes were dark brown, or maybe black, but that wasn't what frightened me. There was a blazing fire in his eyes, and he looked deep into mine. Even in that brief glance, I could see the devil in his eyes. This man was evil. Even though he had just saved me, I would look into his eyes at least once to understand people. And this man was definitely his village. Why else would he kill the man whose head is pouring blood onto the ground right now?"Semih, bring me a pen and paper, man!" he said behind him. His voice was so commanding that the men behind him immediately moved in alarm. The man, whose name I learned was Semih, walked past the other steps, pulled a pen and paper from his pocket, and handed it to the man. The man wrote something on the paper and, taking a knife from his pocket, stabbed the man on the ground hard in the chest. His hand didn't even shake as he did so."Take this and send it to Pamir's door, quick!" He said in his booming voice. As I just said, his voice was so authoritative that the men immediately took action as soon as they heard the order."Semih, take the girl and go home. I'll be back in a minute," he said.Semih approached me with slow steps and gently took my arm.You knew he wasn't doing it to harm me like the others. With slow movements, he guided me and put me in the car."P-please let me go," he said nothing with my cold and emotionless voice.I was so scared and surprised that I couldn't even react any further. I got in the car. Semih closed the car door slowly.I couldn't do anything along the way. I tried to process what I had just witnessed and experienced. I had never seen or experienced anything like this in my life. After a long drive, when the car stopped, I realized we had arrived.I got out of the car again with fear. When I looked in front of me, I saw that I was in the garden of a house. This place was a huge and magnificent place in the forest. It was a house. No, calling it a house would be a grave injustice. It was practically a small palace. In the middle of the garden, there was a small fountain pool with a lion statue spouting water. In the corner, there was a larger pool. Next to the pool, there was a wicker hammock. A short distance away, there was a barbecue grill. When I looked at the large, magnificent house in the middle of the garden, I was even more shocked. The house truly did look like a palace. It was three stories tall, with countless rooms and windows, which I counted before even entering. A palace dominated by white and gray."Welcome to your new home, Ahsen Hanım." The man called Semih smiled. He said these things and led me into the house.Wait a minute, wait a minute, how did he know my name?I entered through a large, two-door brown door, followed by a short hallway. A sofa set greeted us at the entrance. A large television sat opposite. In the other corner of the living room was another large dining table. It was a very stylishly designed living room with countless coffee tables and numerous statues. I sat down on the couch without doing anything. I was so tense and stressed. I was practically frozen. What was I doing in this house? I needed to get out of here immediately.I decided to wait a bit. I was going to thank the man who saved me for saving me and go home. He was already scary enough, but still. He had saved me, so I could thank him. I needed to go home as soon as possible.I have work tomorrow. What would happen to my children if I didn't go?I said, "Yes, my children." I'm a kindergarten teacher. I've been doing my job with great pleasure since I graduated.I'm happy with my job because I've dreamed of doing this since I was little.I also think this is the perfect job for me because I get along so well with children. I used to think so.While I was thinking these things, a woman came in wearing a kitchen apron. I guess she was the maid here. She looked quite sweet from the outside. I could tell by the small smile on her face."Is there anything you need, Ahsen Hanım?" she asked gently."No, thank you. I don't want anything, but how do you know my name? May I know?" I asked. Did everyone know my name? I wonder if they knew me before. I didn't know them, but"Unfortunately, I can't give you any information, Ahsen Hanım, but not just me. Everyone knows your name," she said, still respectful towards me."Why? This is ridiculous. I'm seeing you for the first time. How do you all know me? Or rather, who are you?""As I said, Ahsen Hanım, I unfortunately can't give you any information," she said and left. What was going on in this despicable place? I didn't understand anything, but I didn't dwell on it too much. I was just going to thank the man and leave. Other events didn't interest me. I heard a door opening in the distance, and I became even more nervous. Anything could happen at any moment. After everything I'd experienced today, I turned my head toward the hallway and saw those broad shoulders and tall figure again. The man who had saved me had arrived. I stood up immediately. He looked more normal than he had just a moment ago. Well, how normal was that? That was debatable. I stood up quickly. I was terrified of this man. I should have told him right away and left."Thank you so much for saving me, but I need to go to my house—" "Sit down!" He said in his booming, authoritative voice. Then he sat down heavily in the armchair opposite me, crossed one leg over the other, and leaned back. His gaze quickly swept over me, and I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, expressionless. His cold gaze made me flinch. He was quite imposing, almost twice my size, sprawled out on the couch so comfortably, he was practically saying, "This is my house." He had a relaxed demeanor. "Why? I don't think there's anything left to talk about, sir," I said calmly. I was confused. "I told you to sit down!" he said, raising his voice a little. I sat down so he wouldn't take it any further. Normally, I would have snorted because he was raising his voice at me and giving me orders. I didn't want to deal with this scary man right now. " Listen to me carefully. I don't like repeating myself! From now on, you will stay with me and do whatever I say! I am a tough and angry person. I can't control my anger. My dear, my dear." I don't like you at all, I can't talk to you, and I have three main rules! First, you can never, ever escape this house. If you have such thoughts in your mind, you immediately erase them. If I even have the slightest suspicion that you're thinking of running away, I'll hurt you terribly! Don't even think things like, "You can't do anything to me just because I'm a woman, ha! I don't know how to have normal relationships. I beat you, curse you, and swear. I have no control over my anger. I'm warning you upfront. Second, I come and go whenever I want. I don't have a fixed life. I can't even get into things like, 'Where were you? Who were you with? Don't go there. Don't do that.' I do whatever I want. Finally, you can't talk to anyone except me! It's forbidden! You're forbidden from leaving this house anyway! If you follow these, there's no problem. If you say you won't, you know what I'll do anyway. Whether you want it or force it, it doesn't matter. You're the one who's harmful! Ha, I'm Aslan, by the way, Aslan Beyoğlu. I'm the biggest mafia leader around here," he said. I was shocked by the harsh voice.I couldn't comprehend what the hell this guy was talking about for a few minutes."What the hell are you talking about?! Why am I supposed to stay here?! Besides, what about your rules?" He shouted angrily, closing his eyes at my words. When he opened them for a few seconds, there was that fire in his eyes again."BECAUSE I WANT IT THAT WAY. It's good you said it. I added a new rule.DON'T YELL AT ME AGAIN!" he shouted at me again with that loud and booming voice. How did he think he could yell at me?! "Fortunately, I don't have to act according to your wishes. I can do whatever I want, and you can't interfere with that either." I yelled just like him. When he tilted his head back in anger, I started to mutter in a lower voice. "He's talking nonsense! No, I'm not going to stay with him; no, I'm not going to leave the house; no, I won't ask questions; he's crazy," I muttered.I went to the door, opened it, and left, but before I could even leave the garden, the guards in front of the door, who looked like bears, stopped me."Please don't make trouble, Ahsen Hanım. Aslan Bey has a strict order; you can't leave here.""What do you mean, a strict order, brother? Are we on a mountaintop? Forcibly locked in a house. What is this!?" No matter how much I insisted on his protection, he wouldn't back down.I went back to the house. The psychopath called Aslan was still standing there."Tell those dogs at the door to open the door, or I'll call the police! What two centuries are we in? You wouldn't lock me in the house by force!"He was still sitting there and didn't answer at all. I looked at him and saw that he wasn't saying anything.I pulled my phone out of my coat pocket and immediately dialed the police number. I put it to my ear. When my phone answered, I was just talking when it was interrupted."You know... Hello, police station?" I said, and he quickly stood up.With a sudden move, he grabbed my phone and effortlessly bent it in two. He threw the double-layered phone on the floor to make sure it worked. My now unusable phone was shattered into pieces, and he easily sat back down.Oh, my God, I had just paid the last installment on that phone! But of course, in this situation, I wasn't even upset."WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!" I turned to him angrily again, and, in response to what I said, he spoke in a loud, commanding voice."It's good, look, you reminded me of this, and you're not allowed to use your phone until I tell you!""ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" I was just walking towards him when he stood up again. I had stopped in my tracks, intending to harm him, because, well, I was afraid of his height and appearance. Besides, he was a very dangerous man. Apparently, the man who had just killed a man without blinking an eye wouldn't hesitate to do the same to me."I'm leaving now; there's a room upstairs. Go and get it as soon as possible; it's mine.God forbid." He stepped towards me, then turned around and walked out the door with those same imposing steps.
