A sound echoed at the entrance of the cavern.
A beast wolf like, glowing with magic crept inside. It growled when it saw him.
Old Aren might've panicked.
New Aren simply lowered his stance, instincts taking over.
With one movement, he dodged the creature and tapped it aside with his tail. The beast slid across the ground and stopped moving.

Aren's claws clenched.
